In this tutorial, I'll show you how

to create these vampire bat cap,

standing color and all the different parts to it.

First of all, before we even created,

I want you to notice that it's

made out of the three pattern pieces.

Now you could make it out

one pattern piece and then rapid across.

But I find it's just easier to make it out of three.

So this is one, this is one.

And then this part is in the back is one.

And that is makes it a bit easier to show

and make it drip it occurs.

Now let's create a new project.

Let's start this from scratch.

So first of all, I'm going to make him color.

And we're not going to have a color in the final cape.

But I'm making a color now so that when you dip the cape,

it doesn't just slip off him as it often does offer.

It's not tied onto something.

And I still, we're firing the shape with the cape.

It easiest just to show it onto collar segment.

So these parts together,

then it is something that it's

calling into when he is not just slipping off him.

Now the cape is going to have a lot of material.

I want to make this color stiffer.

If I get tangled, just reset it.

I want to make it stiffer.

Otherwise it's going to be pulled down with the Cape.

So I'm going to call this color temporary color.

I am going to raise bending,

warp and weft just to make it a bit stiffer.

Then I'll add the fabric or the cape.

I don't want it to be Steve.

Play with dead weight more after we make the cape,

right now I am going to make the black pattern piece.

And then I'm going to make the two side ones.

To make the first great NPS,

I am going to use my rectangular pattern tool.

And if you want that to be more wrinkles in the top,

let's make it white on the top.

I don't want there to be two minutes because I am

just going to make it pretty narrower on the top.

And about the length, the length that I want it to be.

I wanted to reach about this height.

Then to work around dripping down like that,

I am going to add a point somewhere around there.

I can move this point up

also to the same height I want it to be.

Then move this one down,

convert to a curve point,

then start adding other cuff points

to make the shape that I want it to be.

A bit more and a bit more roundness there. I think.

Something like that. I move it to the back.

If it is lighter color,

you would see that this is

the inset color or it

happens when we move it to the back.

So I am just going to flip

horizontally and other right side out.

It's not exactly even on both sides.

And I want it to be pretty even.

So I'm just going to quickly

right-click with my Split Line tool.

Type in 50, 50% percent.

Select these points, delete them, then unfold.

And now it's nice and symmetric on both sides.

Now I am going to solve this whole segment here.

This top line to the back of

the color up to about what his shoulder are.

Two that will be up to here.

I just made this up for AT lane.

So it's a bit more even and easier to calculate.

Then find the center and just align it in that lane so I

can count easily how many block meet switches or center.

Good.

We said around here.

I'll put a segment point here.

That's 1234. So 1234 segment point there.

And I don't need this point here.

So denial segment, so these two middle and simulate.

You can see the colors being selected backwards.

So I think we need to give it

a bit more bending and apply the Cape

to the Cape

late.

I just received that right now

because I want that to be straight.

I will make the other two patterns

that will grip over the front.

I want them to be the same land here.

And then I just wanted him to be a bit define shipped.

So for this, I am going to use

my polygon tool and make the same land here.

Then suddenly like that.

Then I am going to segment so

these two debt

move

it over his arm so it doesn't go through her arm.

Then I'm going to show this land and

that means to be a bit shorter.

I'm going to sort this length to the front of the color.

You can either use we saw or segments to it.

Then I simulate.

Now I like this.

Most of all I think this is a wrong February.

Don't need it looks rather Steve and stranger.

I would like this to go down

beat for the n-bit more rounded.

And especially I wanted the shape to be rounded here,

the longest part of it

can either first add a segment point or a point whatever.

Convert that to occur afterwards.

I also want this part to be longer.

So to make this part longer,

stripe is laying down.

Simulate. That's been better.

And also to carve this and this,

then I'm going to select this copy and symmetric wasted.

Now to give it a rape look with those,

those spiky things, that's very simple.

All we have to do is add a bunch of Sigmund points.

Next, going to remove a bit of that curve.

But that doesn't matter so much because we are

going to make it look more spiky.

Didn't just going with our cuff tool.

Start carving in all those points,

all those sigma1 lines between these points.

And then we've got those nice spiky effect.

What now? Spikiness. If we want

it to be looking even sharper in,

if we make this longer points in-between,

we'll start to look more spikier and almost a bit more.

Rather than bird-like.

Ccd are coming much a Tina,

We'll see that look a bit like bat wing.

Now I am going to add segment points on

this front part of the cape.

Patterns. Do the same thing in there.

Now that I sort of,

I think I would like the ship.

Now that I would like the ship that is hanging,

I might refine it with more,

but I like the overall shape.

I am going to remove the symmetry.

Maybe we don't even need it,

but I wanted to make sure that the lines

are the same length DNA.

I'm just going to define points here.

Make it look a bit different.

Now just hide delay inlet because

then it's easier to see what I am doing.

Now we have got a Westlake grip looking things.

And I want this part here to be longer,

so I'm going to select the Steve's

here and draw them out.

The same thing here. Then they're longer,

they're even a bit longer.

It's a bit hard to see.

So I just add a bit of speakers already here.

Now I can see it better.

Got our Kp and now lifts process.

Adding the 10k piece.
