In this tutorial, I'll show you how

to create a Superman kind of Cape.

I am going to start with a rectangular.

I am willing to make first half of

it and grab this point and draw it out.

Then bring this point up to here.

Then add a cough point to make us shaped like this.

And I'll split line up in here.

Incur this switch to

team texture surface so I

see what inside, what is outside.

Sometimes it's a bit hard to

tell that what inside what outside.

I think this is the outside.

I want to make it that I will treat it

around the her knee, but not Joker.

I see. I have to make that a bit wider.

I'll put that point down.

Download bit more, something like that.

Now we can keep these two pieces

so you can have symmetry in it,

or you can unfold it.

I'm going to unfold.

Problem is, if these two are

in the same line when I unfold,

it will also unfold this part.

It will tell me that it's too close.

So I have to just move this part in a tiny bit.

Then I can unfold this line.

And it gives us a kind of spiky point here.

So I'm going to convert that to the cutoff point.

That looks like a roof around her neck segment.

So these two not to deadline.

These parts together.

I will just change in

the VC fabric to something like cotton.

Simulate

the yellow

got our keep him.

I'll just change it to Procreate

so you can see it better.

And x some specularity.

There is a lot of fabric here

and I don't think it look nicer.

So to get rid of that,

I am going to change.

The way that IS.

Curve here is you can see ice creating this mode.

There is less in this fabric and

is more hanging off a shoulder.

Then here, hanging on her shoulder.

If you want this part to be straighter here,

we can also straight in this part out.

Then it's not surrounded like you can see here.

It's straighter. Now this

is rather spiky here.

And if you want that effect, that's nice.

But if you don't want that,

if it will be spiky,

we want it to be perfectly round meeting

up without that spike,

then we have to move these points.

Unless we move them outwards.

I just Shoreline link so I

can make sure that these match.

You can see that it's spike and becoming

more or less spike,

even more nice and round like that.

If you want this to be longer,

then you just have to link in this.

Then you have a longer thing here.

If this is bothering you,

then it's sticking up like that.

You can go into the physical properties

to make it soft or extra,

or you could just go in here.

Straighten this out a bit further.

If you wanted these to be spikier,

like some kind of a pretty rural kind of loop.

Then just bring this closer together.

And the B becomes spikier.

The closer deadlier to be

the sharper debt this state is going to be,

if you want it to be round and not spiky at all,

then flatten them as much as possible.

And the flatter that they are,

the more that they are meat in this rounded kind of way.

You can also make an interesting effects

here by making this much longer.

Make sure they are about the same link.

Otherwise, it's going to give you some trouble.

Then selecting these two lines

and adding elastic on them.

And to properly see all these nice wrinkles,

Let's lower the particular distance.

Then you can get this kind of

gathered effect by playing

with the strength of the elastic.

They're linked and the line.

You can get a nice gathers effect.

Anyway, I am going to remove this elastic now and show

you how to add some pins so you can keep it still.

When you aiming. I'm going to make it a bit narrower.

Want us spiky effect,

I'm going to move these together.

They have got the shape now I want, if we add a wind,

now, we animate, it's going to go pulling it up.

And it's not willing to have the shape

each window flying up to the window.

So I'm just going to grab my box,

my box building tool.

I'm going to pin this whole area here.

Show pins. You want add up in hold down Control Shift.

And that will add the pins to the spin.

If you want to remove it, hold down control.

Then you can remove the parts.

You want to have control Shift to add, control to remove.

So I want that front part there to stay still.

And it looks like it will.

Now that we have pins,

they're going to act as these pins to the often.

Now let's add some wind.

Right-click Show when controller.

And I want it to be blowing

from the front debt from the site.

I move it over in front of her and rotate it.

Here.

You can control the angle of the wind

to becoming from Dean,

I'm going to activate it.

And here you can see the wind is starting to blue.

If you hide means this part is stay nicely on her neck.

Where without means it would

start blowing up from the wind as well.

Then you can play with

it and get it

to hang the way that you wanted to hand

if you're doing just a steel render.

So that's another way to create a cape.

I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial

and see you in the next one.
