Sangni Fort is 64 Km Away from islamabad
and this fort is built in mughal era,
The fort located in baiwal Gujjar khan
This is the place of God's servants. You will not live here
And I will settle in this place again
This was said by Famous Sufi Sahib zada Abdul Hakeem RA
You were forcibly evicted from the fort Sangni on a high hill. This fort was built during the Mughal period.
History repeats itself and the story is written
Today it is a fort with five towers
This fort stands for the mausoleum of the famous Sufi saint Sahibzada Abdul Hakim
According to research so far, this fort seems to have been built during the Mughal period
But some people think that this fort is a construction of Dogra government or the era of Maharaja Ranjit Singh
The purpose of this border fort
More than defense, trade in the region was taxed
Administratively, it was also a fortified border post
And controlled the surrounding area
To attribute the history of this fort to Dogra or Maharaja Ranjit Singh is a gross violation of Mughal history.
Built on the Punjab-Kashmir border of the past, this fort is built on three sides at the mouth of deep ravines
That is why this fort is located in a very important place
There is a spring flowing next to this fort and a hole has been made just above this spring which was made by the
artisans of that time to meet the water needs of the fort. It looks like it is a well.
This is an amazing way to meet water needs
Inside the fort there is a banyan tree whose age is not known
The age of this fort is still unknown
till my visit the history is silent that how old is this fort?
When you reach this fort, you can see a lot of beautiful scenery
It is very rare to see such a scene
This is our national heritage It is our duty to protect it
And the debt of the next generation
if you like our effort kindly comment in bellow, subscribe and remember us in your prayer.
