The Stupa you Are watching

I would say that it would be much better to call this complex Dharmarajika Complex

Asalam o alaikum

Good Morning, Good Afternoon and good evening

welcome back to the channel

Hopefully all of you will be healthy

right now i m in

Dharma Rajika

Dharmarajika is the Ancient site in taxila valley

With reference to Buddhism

And this is one of the oldest civilizations

And here they are at the moment

And there is a university here that I am currently in, which is a very old university

And in a way, people from all over the world used to come here to study

It's too big

And the most amazing thing is that this university is ancient

There used to be a double story

And today only ruins remain

As you can see, the ruins are the engineers of the day

Even in those days, earthquake-proof houses and buildings were built

The roof of this university has collapsed but the walls remain

But the ruins are still in good condition

I think they might be rooms

Or maybe it's the teachers' living room

And what he sees in the middle is probably a pond religiously

This university was built about five hundred and fifty years before the birth of Jesus

Dharmarajika Mean Dharam raj is Buddhist Stupa

It is called the Great Stupa of Taxila Valley

The Dharma Rajika Complex is located in Taxila, Pakistan

About 38 km from Rawalpindi

About 1420 km from Karachi

It is about 1802 feet above sea level

The main stupa is of special importance

It is about 50 feet high

And the width is one hundred feet

The purpose of making this stupa was to keep the small bones of Buddha

The main stupa was first built and then small stupas and ponds were built around it.

It is said that a large quantity of frankincense was used in this place

And the whole complex was made of stained glass tiles

The ruins show that it is home to the world's oldest university

UNESCO declared the site of World Heritage Sites in 1980

And where I am now is the Buddha's feet

And they are made of lime

very big

And it's not an empty sign, but Buddhists do come here sometimes

And worship

The site was discovered by Sir John Marshall in 1913

There will be a lot of looting before and after the discovery

The treasure hunt caused irreparable damage to the site

Unnecessary destruction was done in this place during the looting cycle which caused great damage to this place

A silver coffin was also found during excavations under the supervision of Sir John Marshall

The inscription found in this silver coffin states that we have placed the small bones of the Buddha in Dharma Rajika.

The bones found here were sent to Sri Lanka in 2016

In Colombo and Kundi, about a million Buddhists visited the bones

And this is what the statues of Mahatma Gautama Buddha are

It is incomprehensible why they do not have heads whenever they see these statues

Perhaps they have weakened over time

I would say that it would be better to call this place Dharma Rajika Complex

Because there is a university stupa and a pond and there are a lot of Buddhist things

Asalam o alaikum i am syed zulfiqar gilani

i am here in taxila with mr amin rajput

i belongs to gilani logs youtube channel

We are currently in front of the Dharma Rajika Stupa

It is not just a stupa but a complex

First of all, let me tell you why it is called Dharmarajika

A king of India has passed away whose name was this Ashoke

He is said to have been a very warlike king who defended his throne

He had 100 of his brothers killed

So that no one can claim his throne

And there used to be a state called kalinga

The state is now known as Orissa and is located in southern India

He swore to conquer this state

When Ashoka went to war, the people of this state said that we would protect our land

It is said that children, old people and women all joined this army

But Ashoka won because his army was more and Orissa's army was less

It is said that at least 100,000 people were killed in the war

And after that Ashoka stood on their bodies and swore that he would not fight any more

It was because of these corpses or some other reason but in any case Ashoka repented

And he promised to be peaceful

To fulfill this promise, he developed Buddhism

Because the special thing about Buddhism is that it is a religion of peace

Followers of this religion usually avoid fighting

This religion has existed for the last two and a half thousand years

Buddhism is the fifth largest religion in the world

50 million followers

It is said that every tenth person in the world is a follower of this religion

However, when Ashoka converted to Buddhism, he breathed new life into the religion

And since then Buddhism has never spread as much as it did in the time of Ashoka

So as his services to religion

In other words, in recognition of his services, he was given the title of Dharma Raja

The name of the stupa you are looking at is Dharma Rajika Stupa

It was built by Ashoka

Because his address was Dharma Raja, this topic is called Dharma Rajika Stupa.

It is 131 feet wide and 45 feet high

Well, it's not just a stupa

Rather, it is a whole complex

Along with this main stupa, there are also many prayer stupas

This is the stupa that I had. There was a severe earthquake during the reign of Raja Bikramjit and it was destroyed

It was later rebuilt by the Kushan kings, which existed about two thousand years ago

The people of were also a great branch of Buddhism, they rebuilt it

But it was still in very bad condition. Sir John Marshall rediscovered it in 1913

So as I was telling you, there are many stupas around this stupa

Some stupas are round, some are square

Even in Buddhism, when one's wish was fulfilled, people would make stupas at their own expense

There are many rooms around the main stupa, In which Buddhists sit and worship

There is also a monastery on its back side

The great thing about this monastery is that there is a very old university here, which is probably the second oldest university in the world, if not the first.

There are about 28 rooms inside this university

So much time had passed, almost two thousand years ago, the roof of these rooms has definitely fallen

What is special about this university is that it was not just the beginning of Buddhism

Rather, the people who have been associated with this university panani The first of these is the name PanaNi is an expert in Sanskrit

He also had a picture of the first grammar of Sanskrit

He was a professor at this university

The second name that comes up is Kotli

Kotli Chanakya was the prime minister of Chandra Gupt morya

He has also studied in this complex

This is because of the famous book on politics

No one has written a better book on politics

In addition to these two

This is the land where Alexander the Great

chandar gupt murya

Many people have studied at this university, even Ashoka's father

bhir bond was the first city of taxila valley which is near

Who settled in a thousand BC

And when Alexander came here in 326 BC

So he has also been a guest here. There was a Raja's ambhi government here

And a lot of buildings were built here in his honor

Anyway, there was mention of this stupa

At the same time, there are many statues of Buddha here

Which are now in a very dilapidated condition but in any case they have devotion

A statue here is eleven feet tall

There are two separate statues in one room

And they have statues in a very different way. They used to sit like that

And it is said that in that state a voice came to him from the unseen

These are the two things that are the purity of thought and the perfect mood

There is also a number of ponds

Which was bathed before worship

There are also some small holes

Mud was observed in these holes

Buddha statues were later made from this mud

Also tell me one important thing about this complex

The first stupa of Buddhism is behind me

And if not the first, it is definitely the oldest stupa

This is the temple you are looking at

and

i am consecutive saying that builds are shock proof, how they build on that time

how they construct, definitely used lime and stone to build

And the stones are laid in a special way so that the buildings do not come down

its look like that

the journey of taxila valley will continue

we will try to cover the whole area if allah give us the life

history is the dry subject and tough

gather correct information visit site

all these are not easy

it is not easy
