so good it's so good in my ear
oh
that's nice that's really nice and so hard to do
so for today's video guys
I'm gonna do another reaction video
a video from Alipata
the goodbye uh
by uh Air Supply and fingers takeover of our very very
very very good guitar artist Alibata
so in this video guys uh
let's see if
what's gonna be my reaction in this video but I
I'm not gonna cry in this video okay
I'm not gonna cry
I'm not gonna cry
this is hold on
this is too funny
it leaves fingers moving so fast that my cat like
thinks it's a bug and is staring at the screen
like super hard
that's pretty funny
she's like get ready to attack the screen
this zoom den it shouldn't be anyways let's keep going
okay I will say
as slow and as boring as this song is
a lip really made that intro really nice
with all those harmonics he was using
and how fast he was picking those harmonics
it's not hard to do
but it's not easy
and to make it sound good like that
I gotta say
good job Olip
that was a really interesting
addition to this song that you made
but but but but
can a lip turn this horrible song into something that's
something that I like
is that possible
I don't think so
I'm already not liking this
but hey you know what
if a lip likes it I like it
it's so good
I'm Harry Potter
you play so good again
I should smile
you always play so good
like the finger
how you play the song it's so smooth like
you're such an amazing guitar artist and
I'm not gonna cry I'm not gonna cry this time
oh my god oh oh
oh oh
he's really good
yeah I really like the more like live performance style
because a lot of the process of the sound booth
is to try to clean that up
but it really is more of like
a natural performance vibe here
yes I can tell that
it's like once you play that song
it really comes from the heart yeah yeah
man so many harmonics at the same time
beautifully executed
I mean let's be honest right
that's the best part
those harmonics
dancing back and forth between the 7th and 12th fret
I mean that's like
just sounds super cool
I like that
so he's throwing in his typical harmonics
but I gotta say
out of all the harmonics that a
lip throws into his songs
that is the most complicated
that is the
and the most
I haven't heard him use harmonics quite that
much in a song
then he throws in his typical little flamenco
Spanish style kind of in there
it's not true flamenco
but the only thing left is a little blues lick
which I would not be surprised
if he threw in at the end
my god Alibaba you're so good
you're such an amazing guitar artist um
yeah I cannot say anything
I just want to feel the song and you know Alibaba
I don't know like I just want to feel that song
all right let me just stop for a while
guys I think
this is the most
the most
emotional you know
interpretation of Alibata to a certain song
because right away I can
you know I was hit right away by the
by the sadness and
and the pain
the pain of the song guys and
and once again what
what he's doing you know
I mean
I'm having a hard time speaking guys because
I don't know my
I suddenly felt so sad and
and and vulnerable is like
my eyes are a bit you know watery
you know this is
this is this really special you know I
I can feel it
I can feel it
you know deep in my
deep in my heart and
and what he puts in
into this song is really something amazing so
so let's continue
let's see where this is gonna take me guys
so let's go
you know what
honestly guys right now it's really hard to trust
yeah really yeah
okay so something I'm not pretty to
yeah with this one is like I don't want to let you down
like a guy can tell you that
I wish that you can find that kind of person
that gonna value you okay
I'm gonna stay there forever
on your side some heavy stuff yeah
because this world right now is uncertainty like that
is that the white term white word uncertainty yeah
yeah that's crazy
shall we continue yeah go ahead
he's such a mess
I love how you see him
like close his eyes
when he's really
really getting into that rhythm
it's like relaxing for him
or is in in the zone
like any person who's doing something to the 100%
best of their ability
when they're in the zone
when they're in the pocket
when they're really feeling it
when they're doing something amazing
whether it be a skateboarder you know
doing an amazing trick down a setting set of stairs
and landing it precisely
it's precision
you know precision is not to be scoffed at
those that put in the time and effort and dedication
to get to the level
where they can exercise that precision
that is commendable and inspirational
like this gentleman right here
inspires daily
lifts the spirits of millions
he could be a millionaire himself
but this is a hobby for him
he does it out of the pure joy it brings him
I'm sure I can't speak for him but
seems to me like
he could be doing a lot more with his talents
but he chooses to let it be as it is
a joy for people on YouTube
and a joy for himself
a cathartic
passion of his
just absolutely shredding the acoustic guitar
with perfection
and precision
dexterity with his fingers
and man he's just so good
that's good version
that's good version
one thing I noticed about that is
there's 2 very distinctive um
singers in Air Supply
2 very distinct voices
um I think he covered that so well as well too
so you can actually
you can hear that if you know the song
you can actually pick up those voices in that
in his playing uh
that was really good
grew up with Air Supply in Australia great band
Aussie music is fantastic
anyway if you haven't checked it out go check it out
what a great cover
great cover of goodbye from Air Supply
so man that the voicing on his guitar is so good
you can actually pick out those individual voices
the way the player for each other
and very distinctive differences in their voices
that was really good
oh nice he hit it
that last note was a little hard
hold up back up cat damn
back up back up back up back up back up
3rd fret he played it
where did he play that last harmonic all of a sudden
trying to figure out where he was mathematically
so he wasn't the fit to threat
he must have been up
where 20 would be
he was where 20 would have been
your 20th threat
see a lot of times
I'm fucking this awesome that you got which by the way
yes I like that
way better than the Air Supply original song
but you me thinking right there I hope
reveal something that instinctively
right when there's a problem
I'm thinking about the problem
I don't grab the guitar
because if you can't figure out what's going on
the guitar is not gonna help you very much
I mean yeah you can sound out stuff
you know in that sense it can help you
but if you have like
a lot of problems in music
are actually logistical problems and logical problems
and all you're doing when you pick up the instrument
is you're executing your vision with your hands
if you don't have a vision
there's not going to be any execution
there you go
all right I'm glad that is over
a lip did a good job though
but he didn't throw in the blues lick
like I thought he would
but he was doing
I keep saying flamenco
it's not really flamenco
it's more of a Spanish style finger picking
finger style guitar cover that he's known for
there you have it folks
that's a lip bata Air Supply reaction
that's a lit BA ta goodbye reaction
and let me tell you right now
I'm ready to say goodbye to this song I just
look I know there's a lot of people
that like Air Supply
but you know
people that hang around in my circle
they're not allowed to listen to Air Supply
no I'm just joking
Air Supply has some good songs
but this one I just
there's something about love ballads from the 80s
that makes me want to just oh man
you're so good Alibaba
you are so good
like perfectly good
I'm not already
and did I cry
just a little bit
just a little bit
it's just feeling that that uh
the lyrics is good
like Uh I don't wanna hurt you
it's okay if uh
you heard me
something like that
and uh I don't know I just
I just thinking about my sister
like I don't wanna say goodbye
I don't wanna like you know but uh
don't do anything about it anymore and
Woo I admit guys I got a little bit
theory I'd read there and I'm not gonna deny it
I I I just can't control it you know I'm trying to
to control the tears but
you know I don't know
I mean I just can't help it but get very emotional
with the way Alec played that song
you know so
you know that was
that was really something special
it was like
it scared me
you know listening to the song
like I don't Want to Say Goodbye
like to rage or you know
to anybody out there who could relate to this song
it's like it's very painful
saying goodbye to someone you love
you know and
and every time I close my eyes he just
you know gives me that message that you know
how painful it is to lose someone you love you know
and bad all bad
I mean that
until now guys
I'm trying to control my
my tears from falling but
you know that got me really emotional
that's a lot of chords
that's a lot of chords it's crazy
you just write that music yeah yeah
I especially like seeing someone who can just
effortlessly
just move their hands from position to position
I have clumsy hands
I can't do that
yes I can do my guitar
I don't even know
like I've been playing it is like
I can't do this
yeah yeah it's
there's something I always love about watching someone
do their thing and make it look amazing
and this guy Levitha is like
he made a lot of songs
and everything that he plays is really good
because I love a game
we're gonna listen to more of his music
yeah yeah I'll check it out okay
it just sounds like a different instrument
yeah
nice I love the ending
wow beautiful
such a wonderful execution
I really really enjoy this one
I'm ready to go back to sleep now
because this was so relaxing
so it just put me in this sleepy mood
it just kind of like
gives you this feeling that everything's Okay
and You Have to Worry About Nothing and
Really Really Nice
wow so just beautiful man absolutely beautiful
could give this man a hug right now
you know he lifts your spirits
he's got that rhythm the music in his bones
and I'm gonna do a duet with what he just did right now
hopefully enjoy it as always everybody
you have any requests or recommendations
make sure to make them down below
um but like a beloved loved it
the alien on my left loved it
and Jeffrey of course
Jeffrey sleeping
yeah it's like a lullaby a lift
his songs are like lullabies
