I find it extremely difficult to pause his videos

I have this cardinal rule

that I don't do that during guitar solos

what I love so much about a lipata is this man

is fully capable of making his guitar sing to us

we can hear the lyrics

he does but he makes them his own

by making his guitar sing to us

it's just as fascinating to hear it

as it's to see how he plays the guitar

I was watching his finger play

like on the fretboard

just everywhere

and I tried to learn how to play guitar

and I tried for months

you know my brother is a really

really good guitarist

and he just has that skill set in that guitar IQ

and I was trying so hard and my fingers just

I never could get like the dexterity

you know I could learn some of the chords

and just do very basic things

but it was just

it just wasn't in my cards

you know as much as I loved it

and really wanted to be good at it

the progress level

even being obsessed with it every day after work

it just it just wasn't happening

so I was like

I can just appreciate the guitar

just having that personal experience of

trying to learn to play

and then you see someone who is on this level it's

it's incredible

that's a true guitar hero

there's a lot of people saying he is a guitar genius
