[Eva] "Slumber Owls."
[Eva] Come on, come on, come on, sun!
- Hurry up and rise. - Whoa.
Diary, it's almost time for my friends to come over for our very first sleepover!
I'm so excited.
- Baxter... - Huh?
...since the sleepover is at my house,
I have to make sure everyone is having fun.
[cheers]
That's why I spent all night figuring out
my list of Eva's super-duper sleepover plans!
[cheering, chuckling]
- [Eva] It's sunrise! - Whoo-hoo!
- [doorbell rings] - [gasps] They're here!
- Whoa! [chuckles] - [chuckles]
Looks like the super sleepover's about to start.
- [coos] - Uh-uh-uh. Super-duper, Dad.
[chuckling]
Sleepover, sleepover, sleepover! [all chuckle]
[chuckles] Come on in, everyone.
- Whoo! - Thanks for the invite, Eva.
- We're going to have so much fun. - [squeals]
- [Lucy, Kiera chuckle] - That's right.
I've got our fun all figured out,
thanks to my list of Eva's super-duper sleepover plans.
- Whoa! - So cool.
Owl-some!
Well, what are we waiting for? Follow me.
[cheering, chuckling]
Our first super-duper sleepover plan is cloud-watching!
- Whoo-hoo! - Yay!
I'm so excited!
I love it. Clouds make such funny,
- fluffy shapes in the daylight. - [chuckles]
One time, I saw one that looked like a big caterpillar!
I once saw one that looked like a fancy hat.
What if we see one that looks like a caterpillar wearing a fancy hat?
[all giggle]
I made everybody a leaf pile to lie in while you look up.
- Wow. Amazing. - You shouldn't have.
Oh, they look so cozy.
I also got binoculars to help us see the clouds.
- Wow! Thanks so much, Eva. - Aw. That's so nice of you, Eva.
Everybody get comfy-cozy.
[Kiera, Eva, Sue chuckle]
[Eva gasps] There are no clouds!
Maybe they're hiding. You can come out now, clouds.
[chuckling]
Uh, I'm so sorry. Maybe there's some clouds on the other side of the tree.
- [stammers] Be right back. - Sure.
Hey, check it out. Cannonball!
- [chuckling] - Whoo-hoo!
[chuckling continues, whooping, grunting]
Hey, a caterpillar.
[chuckles] Is it wearing a fancy hat?
- [chuckles] No, but it sure is cute. - [chitters]
- Super cool. - Aw, it's so cute.
- Hey, little guy. - [chuckles]
[Eva] See any clouds over here, Baxter?
Uh-uh.
Diary, turns out my first sleepover plan isn't so super-duper.
I can't believe there weren't any clouds.
[sighs] That's okay.
I've still got lots of plans to make this sleepover super-duper.
What's next?
Aha! Watercolor paintings.
- Come on. - [exclaims]
[chuckling]
Look, I'm a falling acorn. Whoo!
- [chuckling] - Whoo-hoo!
Okay, everybody. I'm sorry there weren't any clouds, but don't worry.
This sleepover is about to get super-duper. Come on, let's go.
Whoo-hoo!
- Have a good day, friend. [chuckles] - [exclaims, squeals]
- [giggles] - Okay, yeah.
[speaks indistinctly]
- All right! - [chuckles] Yeah.
Our next super-duper sleepover plan is watercolor.
- No way! - Ah, my favorite.
Wow.
You add a little water and a little paint
and make the colors into anything you want.
- [owlets cheer] Wow. - All right.
This is so exciting! I want to paint a beautiful picture of Baxter.
Huh? Oh. [chuckles]
[giggling]
Here you go. Happy painting.
- [Sue] Thanks. - [Lucy] Thank you so much.
I made sure we've got all the colors of the rainbow and plenty of water.
This is going to be super-duper.
- [Kiera, Lucy, Sue gasp] - Whoa. [shrieks]
Oh, no. I've gotta dry off the paper.
- We can help. - It's okay. I've got it.
- Thanks, Baxter. - Let's pick up the paintbrushes.
- Let's do it. [chuckles] - [Sue] Sure. Absolutely. [chuckles]
Hey, look at this shadow. It kinda looks like a dragonfly.
[Kiera, Sue chuckling]
Check it out. Dragonfly wings.
I wanna try.
Oh, these are still too wet to paint on.
It's okay... [stutters] ...I'll get some towels.
Be right back.
- Look at it fly. - [squeals]
- So fun. - Mini shadows.
One time at owl camp, I saw something like that--
Diary, I'm so frustrated.
None of my plans are working out.
Everyone's going to go home and say,
"Guess what I did at the sleepover? Nothing super-duper!"
[groans] Forget about the towels.
I've gotta start the next plan before this goes down
as the worst sleepover in the history of...
sleep! I'll check my list.
The pine cone treasure hunt.
I can't wait to eat a whole bunch of berries and stay up all day!
[chuckles]
[Kiera] Look, the dragonfly's flying.
- Look at it go. [chuckles] - [Lucy, Sue chuckling]
Eva, come play with us.
I can't. I'm gonna set up our next sleepover activity.
- Ooh. - [chuckles]
And don't worry, this one will be truly, awesomely super-duper.
I promise!
- Um. - Oh.
- [chuckling] - [imitates plane flying]
- Okay. [sighs] - [exclaims]
- [exclaims] - Thanks, Baxter.
We've gotta find a really good hiding spot for this pine cone.
And then the treasure hunt can begin.
[exclaims]
- Huh? - [groans]
[chuckles]
- Uh-oh. - [groans]
- Hmm? - Uh-oh.
- [knocks] - [gasps]
Whoa.
[sighs]
- Hmm. - [owlets chuckling]
- [Sue] Hey, Eva. - [gasps]
[Sue] You're missing the fun.
- [Kiera] Eva! - Uh.
[babbles]
Yes! The ultimate hiding spot.
Okay, everybody.
It's time for the super-duper pine cone treasure hunt.
- [Kiera] Whoo! - So cool!
- I can't wait! [chuckles] - Let's go! Team treasure hunt! [chuckles]
Here's the clue. The right place to look is somewhere you might read a book.
- A branch! - A chair!
A window seat!
- [chuckling] - I guess we better start looking.
- Hmm. - Hmm.
- Oh, pine cone? Where are you? - [cooing, chuckling]
Baby Mo wants to say good night to the sleepover owlets.
- Go ahead, Baby Mo. - [coos]
- Aw. - [cooing]
- Whoo-hoo! - [chuckling]
- Go, Mo! - Amazing!
Go, Mo! Go, Mo!
[chuckling]
Huh? Aha.
Mo, wait!
[babbling]
- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!
- Way to go, Mo! - [cheering]
Whoo-hoo! Amazing!
- [sighs] The treasure hunt is ruined. - [Kiera] Go, Mo! Whoo-hoo!
- I lose stuff at my house all the time. - Whoo-hoo!
- Whoo! - Can I borrow Mo?
[Dad chuckles] Oh.
That was my last super-duper sleepover plan.
I'm all out of fun things to do with my friends.
Diary, this sleepover is a disaster.
There weren't any clouds for cloud-watching,
the watercolors were all water and no color,
and Baby Mo found the pine cone before we could even do the treasure hunt.
[sighs] It's hopeless. I bet everyone just wants to go home.
[sighs]
[Sue] Who's the champ?
[Kiera, Lucy, Sue] Mo's the champ!
- [Sue] Who's the champ? - Huh?
- [Dad, Kiera, Lucy, Sue] Mo's the champ! - [Sue] Who's the champ?
- Mo's the champ! [chuckling] - Yeah! [chuckling]
- [Lucy] Whoo-hoo! - Eva!
- Amazing! Go, Mo! - This is the most fun sleepover ever.
It is?
Oh, yeah. Daytime leaf-jumping is super-duper.
And so is a giant dragonfly shadow puppet.
You were having fun this whole time?
So much fun.
I was so busy worrying about my plans, I guess I missed it.
- [coos] - [chuckling]
The fun isn't over yet.
Who's the champ?
- Mo's the champ! - Jump on in!
Ha! [chuckles]
- Who's the champ? - Mo's the champ!
Who's the champ?
- Mo's the champ! - [Kiera] Whoo!
- Who's the champ? - Mo's the champ!
[yawns]
Aw. [chuckles] I better put him to bed.
It's tiring being the champ, isn't it?
Nighty night, Mo.
Diary, everyone had such a flaptastic time at the sleepover...
- [Lucy] Wanna race? - ...and I almost didn't even notice.
It didn't matter that my plans
- weren't super or duper. - [cheering]
- [Eva] My friends know how to have fun. - [chuckling]
They don't need me to make it fun for them.
[chuckling continues]
Oh-- Gotta go, diary.
My friends are doing something fun and I wanna be part of it.
[chuckles]
- [chuckling] - Hey, what should we do next?
How about a fancy hat fashion show?
Or more leaf-jumping.
Or how about sunshine stories?
- Yeah. - Hoo...
- I love it. - Yes!
...love it.
Oh, I know a good one. Baxter?
Huh? [exclaims]
[chuckles] Thanks.
It was a bright and sunny day...
Hoot!
- Ooh. - [squeals] Look, clouds!
Seriously? Now you come out?
Hmm. [gasps] Hey, let's tell cloudy stories instead.
- Yeah! Awesome! - Great thinking, Eva!
- Yes! - It was very cloudy day.
The fluffy clouds all looked like--
Caterpillars.
Wearing fancy hats.
[chuckling]
[Eva] "Lucy's Lantern."
[owlets chuckling]
Gather around, owlets. Tonight, I've got a real treat planned.
An art project.
- [owlets cheer] - Wow.
We're going to decorate...
lanterns.
- [owlets cheering] - Whoo-hoo!
You'll each decorate a lantern in your own special way.
What a flaptastic art project.
I can't wait to decorate my lantern.
Now, come on outside.
[owlets cheering] Awesome! So cool.
At the end of class, we'll hang all the lanterns on our school tree,
so the branches glow with your amazing creativity.
[owlets] Yay! Wow. So pretty.
- Awesome! - So fun!
I want mine to go right there on that tall branch.
And I want mine to go next to yours. I love being next to you.
[chuckling]
The world around us is full of special things.
Look around and get inspired for your special lanterns.
- Let your imaginations fly. - [owlets cheering] Awesome!
[owlets chuckling] Ooh.
- Hmm. - Lucy, what are you drawing?
A plan for my lantern.
I call it the Springtime Wonder-lantern.
Look at those colorful flowers, and the bees are so cute.
Lucy, you're such a flaptastic artist.
Thanks, Eva.
Maybe I could put all kinds of pretty things on my lantern too.
I know, I'll make it look like the sky with the moon and stars.
Yes, it'll be beautiful.
But how do I make my lantern dark blue like that?
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm. Here's an idea.
Hmm.
Ooh. Thanks, Lucy.
No problem.
[Eva] What a pretty sky color. [chuckles]
[humming]
Wow, wow, wow, diary.
Lucy is so creative.
She has so many ideas for how to decorate lanterns.
With her help, my lantern is going to look just like the sky.
Look out below!
[exclaims]
Sorry. I was trying to put some sticks on my lantern. It's not going so well.
No worries, Carlos.
Wow. I love the paint on your lantern.
[sniffing] And it smells yummy.
Blackberry paint. It was Lucy's idea.
[gasps] Maybe she could help you, too.
Oh. That'd be great.
Lucy, Carlos needs one of your super creative art ideas for his lantern.
I'd love to help. And then I'll get back to my Springtime Wonder-lantern.
All right!
[chuckles]
I want it to look like a nest, but the sticks won't stay on.
What do you think I should do?
Hmm. Lucy?
Hmm.
[gasps] You could use some sap to attach the sticks.
Like this.
- Wow. - Another flaptastic Lucy idea.
My lantern is going to look just like a nest. Thanks, Lucy!
- Bye. - [Eva] Bye, Carlos.
See you later.
Hey, let's go grab some petals for our lanterns.
Yeah!
[Lucy] Ooh.
These will add some super springy wonder to my lantern.
And you could use these yellow ones to make some stars on yours.
[chuckles] Lucy, you've got so many ideas you could fill an art museum.
No, ten art museums. [chuckles]
[chuckling]
Hey, how are your lanterns going?
Well, Lucy is making lanterns look flaptastic, left and right.
Could you help me with mine?
[chuckles] Of course, she can.
Oh, uh, sure.
Thanks. I painted it swirly orange and yellow to look like the sun.
Wow, that is super-duper cool.
But how do I make it beam like there are big rays of sunshine?
Hmm. Let me sketch out an idea.
[gasps] Here!
You could attach painted yellow sticks to look like rays of sunshine.
Lucy, that is so... [kisses] ...creative!
I never would have thought of that.
Oh, yeah. Lucy's super creative.
Aw, thanks.
Okay, gotta go work on my lantern.
Lucy, my lantern is looking so awesome thanks to your idea.
That's great.
Okay, lantern, let's turn you into the springiest, wondrous--
- [exclaims] - Lucy.
I saw you help Sue with her lantern. Can you help me too?
- Oh. - She sure can.
Nobody helps better than Lucy.
[Lucy] Um.
Hmm.
But only for a second. I got to work on mine.
Thanks, Lucy. It's a puffer fish.
His name is Gerald, but something is missing.
It's got a lot of puff... [blows] ...but not enough fish.
- Aw... [chuckles] ...cute. - Hmm. How about some fins?
Hmm. These leaves should do the trick.
- [Eva] That's amazing! - Whoa! Thanks, Lucy.
[Lucy] My lantern is still so... blank.
Don't worry, you'll make it look flaptastic for sure.
- Boo! [chuckles] - Ah! [chuckles]
I need some help making my jack-o'-lantern spooktacular.
Lucy can help.
Well, maybe there's a way to make it orange like a pumpkin?
Oh! How about those orange petals?
I got them for my lantern, but if it helps, you could use them.
Wow, thanks!
Now, how am I going to make the flowers?
[Carlos] Oh, yeah! Finished my lantern.
[Sue] Me too.
Oh, how exciting.
- We've got a nest lantern... - Hoot!
- ...and a sun lantern. - [chuckles]
And a fish. His name is Gerald.
- [blowing] - [Carlos, Sue chuckling]
Well, pleased to meet you, Gerald.
- Hello, Gerald. - That one looks so cool.
- Lovely sun, Sue. - So exciting.
Oh, no. I'm not even close to done.
Hey, buddy. I need your help. My lantern just needs one more thing.
How do I make these yellow petals look like stars?
Oh. I'm sorry, Eva, but I can't help you right now.
You-- You can't?
Diary, I am so confused.
Why won't Lucy help me finish my lantern?
She helped everyone else.
[groans] Come on. [groaning]
Lucy, what's wrong?
I'm running out of time to finish my lantern.
I've been so busy helping everyone else with theirs that I can't finish mine.
I thought you wanted to help everyone.
You had that amazing idea for a blackberry paint.
But when Carlos saw it, you said I could help him too.
And you told Sue I could help her.
And Jacob. Then Kiera.
Now, I don't have time for my own.
[sighs]
Lucy, I'm sorry.
I should have asked you before I said you'd help everyone.
That's okay.
I just have so much to do. And I gave Kiera my flower petals.
Oh! You could have mine.
Really? But how will you make your stars?
I'll think of something. You keep going with your Springtime Wonder-lantern.
Thanks, Eva.
Do you want any help?
No, thanks. These petals are a big help already.
I'm going to go get to work.
Okay. Hey, you've got this, Lucy.
I know it's going to be so flaptastic.
[chuckles]
Now, about these stars.
Hmm. I wish I could ask Lucy.
No. Gotta think.
What would Lucy's idea be?
Hmm.
Oh.
I feel an idea coming on.
I could poke tiny holes in the lantern with this twig.
Careful. Careful.
Ooh, that's going to sparkle big time.
Here's my sky lantern, Ms. Featherbottom.
Wonderful. Now, all we need is Lucy's.
- Hmm. - [owlets chattering]
Finished!
Here you go.
The Springtime Wonder-lantern.
Wow!
[chuckling]
- [Carlos, Jacob] Ooh. - [Kiera, Lucy] Aah.
All the lanterns are ready. Who would like to flip the switch to turn them on?
Ms. Featherbottom, could I do it?
- Yeah. - You got this!
- Yeah, pick Lucy. - Lucy!
Lucy helped with all the lanterns. She definitely deserves to do it.
Come on up here, Lucy.
- [exclaiming] - Yay! Hooray!
- [Jacob] So glowy. - [Carlos] It's so beautiful!
- [Jacob] Look at our creative lanterns. - [owlets] Whoa!

But now I understand if she wants to help someone with their art,
