Now let's get into your book launch and your ongoing promotion.

The first thing that you need to consider is whether you're going to launch the

Kindle version of your book at ninety nine cents.

To maximize the conversion.

Now, I recommend that when you launch

your book, you have both the Kindle and the physical versions available.

You could have an audible version if you desire as well, but often times those are

added in later.

So you have a Kindle version, you have a

physical version. The ninety nine.

Cents, yes i know that you're not going to earn as much money.

You're not going to get the 70 % deal that Amazon gives you when you're at two

ninety nine to nine ninety nine, so you're not going to get much money from

the Kindle itself.

The reason we're willing to offer it at

ninety nine cents.

Is that we can get a lot of sales in

quickly. Remember, our primary goal here isn't the

profit from the book itself.

It's all the leads we're gonna generate,

all the buyers that we're gonna plug into our form, our funnel for the other

products and services we sell on the back end.

And at the same time, while you're not earning almost anything on the Kindle

version, you can still earn money on the paperback or hardback versions of your

book they're selling right along the Kindle version.

You can run a KDP Kindle Countdown deal for up to seven days.

What that means is that you could price your book.

Normally it's two ninety nine or four ninety nine, and you can set a countdown

deal for seven days.

That brings it down to ninety nine cents.

So now there's a specific deadline when you launch that they're only getting the

ninety nine cent.

Price for this period of time, so there's

a hard deadline.

You're going to launch it to your email

list at the beginning of this promotional period, and hopefully you already have a

few reviews up from clients or customers or friends that you asked to go review it

before the official launch date happened.

If possible, you also have a few podcast

interviews that you've already done.

They're already ready to be published.

And the podcaster agreed to publish your podcast sometime during this period,

which can also generate a lot of sales very quickly for you.

Same thing as if you have any connections with other affiliates, maybe people that

you've promoted as an affiliate friendly email list that they might promote for

you, they'll send out during this launch period as well.

If you have any bloggers that you know that you asked if you could possibly

publish a guest post a couple of months in advance, they could be published this

week as well to get them out and.

Drive as many visitors as possible during

this ninety nine cent promotion the goal, here of course, is to drive your book up

in the categories that you've chosen.

It'd be great if you can get your book up

to number one number two.

It starts showing up in some of the

keyword searches, so it starts generating new visitors that you have nothing to do

with new visitors that you haven't done any direct promotion from.

People start seeing it because it's showing up in the categories and it's

showing up in the keywords that you've chosen.

You can also schedule to advertise book deals at ninety nine cents.

I listed some of the book deal promotions that are out there that allow you to

promote a ninety nine cent book.

Or a ninety nine book now bookbub.

Dot com is the biggest one.

They're not likely to let you promote a

brand new book because they want to see a lot of reviews.

They want to see a popular book that's already well done, already shows the

reviews, already has a lot of credibility, so they're not going to let

you launch to them.

But you have a lot of these others here

book Buck books, Books, butterfly, a lot of different sites that you can buy ads

to promote. Win your books ninety nine cents.

And for some of them, again, bookbub isn't going to let you in the launch Buck

books. They might not let you during your

initial launch either, because they want to see reviews as well.

So you can launch with a few of these in the very beginning, then a few months

later you can come back and do another relaunch out to your email.

List try to get some other guest posts on blogs up, try to get some more podcasts

to come out, and then advertise again.

Maybe coming back to book bub at this

point in time and run another promotion for ninety nine cents.

For a few days for the book to drive it up in the sales and you'll see.

Let's just go over and scan one of these featured books.

This is at bookbub.com you can see.

How much they charge? They have a ton of subscribers and

they're in different categories.

So you see they have a lot of them in

fiction categories. Let's go into non fiction categories.

Let's see like we've got business here, they have 560,000 thousand and they want.

If you have a free book, it costs this much.

If your book's a dollar, it costs this much.

If it's two dollars, 3$ So you can see how much they often drive.

So let's go look down here.

So we're going to do a ninety nine.

Cent promotion to a three.

Hundred and seventy eight and downloads

eight thousand three hundred the average sold.

You'll notice if we're selling the book average sold, a.

Thousand sold awesome.

That would be an awesome amount of sales.

But again, book Bub's the biggest one and they're going to need to have some

reviews up and book ranking pretty well first buckbooks dot net is an example of

one of the smaller book promotion sites.

Now, even though they're a much smaller

site than bookbub, and they don't even have all the categories the bookbug has,

it's a little bit more general of a site.

They still have requirements on their

application. You're not going to get approved if your

book isn't good.

If your cover isn't professional, if your

book description has typos, if the book has no reviews, they expect a lot of

value for the ninety nine cents.

And in their case your book has to either

be free or ninety nine cents.

Before they'll promote it.

You'll see you Scroll down here and they want you to fill in the information about

your book and they charge.

If you want a daily deal broadcast for

your books with six others, it's 29$ or a solar broadcast that's only about your

book is 100$ You know, for that might sound really cheap, but it depends on

whether the audience is going to be interested in what you're selling.

If you're a very general type topic like weight loss or anti aging, it might work,

or fiction type books.

But if you're a very specialized topic,

if you're selling to dentists for example, then this is probably going to

be way too general of an audience for you to go to.

And of course you can look through all the other sites that I had listed.

You have these as choices, and each of them have.

Some of them have their different niches that you can advertise into, some don't.

So just check through them, see what the requirements are, whether they advertise

to your audience or not.

And of course there are dozens of other

sites I didn't list here.
