Now let's look at never binge again, which is by Doctor Glenn Livingston
because it's in a great example of an Amazon funnel formula in action.
His book is called never Binge Again, how thousands of people have stopped
overeating and binge eating and stuck to the diet of their choice by reprogramming
them themselves to think differently about food.
And you can see he has never binge again as the main title.
And then his subtitle is long.
It's hitting a bunch of keyword phrases
and it's selling the audience.
It really is a have.
It really is a headline.
If you actually look at this, we see
binge is in there twice with the title and the subtitle.
So we've got overeating, we've got binge eating, we've got stick to the diet of
their choice, thinking differently about food, all phrases that people are
searching for. Let's go over and actually look at the
book on Amazon.
Never binge again.
You can see at this point in time has over 13000 thousand ratings thirteen
thousand, what do you think that does for Glenn's other products?
So let's say that somebody goes to Glenn's website directly.
Maybe they sign up for a webinar where they sign up for his email list and they
start getting emails from him and they want to know more about Glenn.
So they do a search of Glenn and they go to Amazon.
And they see that he has a book here with 13000 thousand reviews.
Does that give him more or less credibility?
Does that make customers more or less likely to buy from him?
It's going to be much more likely.
Not only that, but it's going to bring in
the right customers because some of them are going to go look at the reviews and
they're going to see the people who like the book and the people who don't.
You'll notice here that he has a little over, he's at the four-star type level.
And that's because any book that you sell on Amazon, you're going to have a group
that doesn't like it.
He's always ran about 9 % of people who
hate his concept.
And that's because his concept is
contrarian. Where a lot of the other people in the
market tell you to overcome binge eating by loving your inner child, Ben turns
that completely on its head.
He goes completely contrarian with his
hook, and he talks about the fact that.
You have to cage the pig.
So instead of loving the wounded child, it's caging the pig that makes you binge
eat and how to deal with it with the systems and tools that it gives you.
And because of that you have 9 % of people who pretty much hate the concept.
But that's that also means that the other 91 % or at least some interested in it,
and some of them are absolutely, passionately and low.
That 63 % give him five stars, 14 % gave him four stars.
So the majority love it and you'll notice you're right here.
Just notice this number right now in the Kindle Store.
He is number one right now in weight maintenance diets.
Ooh, and look at this one.
He's number one in weight loss diets.
You think that might be a little competitive weight loss diets?
Yeah, it is.
He's number two right now in eating
disorders and body image.
Self help that weight loss diets is
massive. Ok, so that's just a huge thing for his
business. If you went through, you can go back
there and you can look at his category ranking.
You can look at the description that he has on his book.
Now, you'll notice that when I just showed it to you, his book, the Kindle
version, is permanently free, which means anybody can go in.
They can download the entire book for free on Amazon.
So how does he make money from that? Well, he sells the print version.
He also has the audible version that people can listen to, and he has other
books on Amazon as well.
And you'll notice that his brand design
runs across all the different books.
So here's some of his other books.
You'll notice he has the big open mouth across all of them, one brand all the way
across. And while this is the only free one, his
other Kindle editions are four ninety nine or nine ninety nine, and most of
them are nine ninety 9-9-9.
As you look across what's food demon
interviews, 45 binge trigger Busters, a hundred and one best food rules and see
again, somebody could have made the mistake and wanted to put the hundred and
one best food rules inside the core product, but that was just confused.
That would have made it longer, would have made people less likely to actually
finish that book, and you'll know some of those.
Again, they're specific topics that people are looking for then inside of his
book. He did an extremely good job and I'd
recommend going and getting a copy of his book because it's free at least to try it
out and look at how he does his content upgrades.
Because in his book, every chapter he tells you Cheat Sheets and audios and
other tools that he's going to give you if you go and opt in to his list and then
you go and you opt in and it's one opt in form to get all the bonuses for the
entire book and then after.
Somebody opts into his list, he's going
to send them content by email, he's going to send them audios showing some of his
coaching sessions with his other customers, and they're going to have a
chance at some point to join his intensive.
Let's take a look at this.
So here's the opt in Page, free book and
reader bonuses. And when you enter in below, you're going
to get all these bonuses in the nutrition plan, everything else that was promised
inside the book, and you can see there's a massive list of things that are
included with the book.
And then somebody opts into the book and
then they're going to have a chance.
At some point to join the never binge
again intensive program and so it's a webinar program that includes coaching
and other offers and current price for it is 500$ four ninety nine seventy five or
ninety nine ninety five and six easy monthly installments to give it.
So this is a you know it's not a high-priced offer but.
It's a decent medium priced offer as his main offer after somebody comes in
through the book, so that's a good example of the Amazon funnel formula in
action. Of course he has other products and
services he sells as well, some of that are even higher ticket for the products
and services. He has his books, his other books on the
low ticket, he has the intensive in the middle and he has other higher ticket
services as well.
