has a really nice guitar tone

for a lot of us guys that play lead

and can shred out there

one of the things with Elite Bata

he's an amazing rhythm guitar player

he was amazing and all that

but I think a lot of us were wondering

what's his lead playing like

and uh he's a good

he's a great lead guitar player

he's got great technique

can do all kinds of cool stuff with his picking

his legato uh

definitely can tell that he likes Steve Vai

uh little bit of Jeff Beck in there

that's the wonderful thing about a good guitarist

someone who is unique

is that you'll have their own tone when playing

and you can

I always feel that you can tell more

about their playing when they're playing electric

because there's so many more sounds

that you can manipulate

through using distortion and other things

and as much as that might be easy to use

for people to have those different effects

but knowing how to use them effectively

is a completely different thing

I mean this is one of his originals by the way

but when he's playing lead it's interesting

because he's got such a fantastic sense of melody

I like the fact that he uses the Floyd Rose bridge

I'm a Floyd Rose guy for my Hard Rock metal stuff

I find it's just the best

for expressiveness with the bar

and it's amazing how he uses that

it really reminds me a lot of Jeff Beck

some Steve Vai in there

you know when he has a top note

when he does his arpeggios

a little bit of alternate pecking in there

but it just

but he does it and I'm

I've always said guys like a guitar solo

to me it's like you're telling a story within a story

if it's just like pure speed

after a while

he has a fantastic sense of melody

so he's telling like a really cool story within a story
