When a man works
for a company

as big and as vast
as Wells Fargo,

he can expect to be sent
almost anywhere

at any time,

even when it's just a week
before Christmas.

when I arrived

in Corpus Christi, Texas.

and smiled at one another,

Shipments of rifles
and ammunition

are being smuggled regularly

from Laredo across
the border into Mexico.

and terrorize the countryside,

hopeless cause.

these Mexican leaders

who do the dirty work
