Remember the joke about the Russian army taking tanks and cannons off their pedestals and dragging

them to the front? Well, it turned out to be no joke - according to preliminary data,

Russia is pulling Soviet 100 mm smoothbore T-12 cannons developed in the late 1940s to the war.

This cannon is the predecessor of the Rapira, which appeared only 10 years later.

The T-12 prototype was developed in the Stalin times, but a gun is a gun,

and at 15 km it can still shoot, if the barrel does not burst.

British intelligence reported that a large part of the losses of the Russian

armed forces in Ukraine were caused by incidents unrelated to the fighting.

This includes losses due to careless handling of weapons, accidents on roads,

and poor conditions of troop deployment, causing, in particular, hypothermia. Separately,

there is a large number of accidents, crimes and deaths on the background of extremely widespread

alcohol consumption, which also reduces the overall effectiveness of the occupation troops.
