[reporter] Wreckage and bodies of Flight 401

Official YIFY movies site: YTS.MX

were scattered over a 1-mile radius.

[representative] There was

virtually complete disintegration of the aircraft.

[Steve] It is one of the greatest

supernatural mysteries of all time.

On December 29th, 1972,

Eastern Air Lines Flight 401

crashed into the Florida Everglades.

One hundred and one souls lost their lives.

One hundred and one souls lost their lives.

But that was just the beginning.

Soon after,

ghosts began to haunt the land,

and other planes.

[woman screams]

[reporter] Rumors began circulating that the crashed plane

was the scene of apparitions of the Flight 401 pilot,

and flight engineer Don Repo.

[Steve] Fifty years later, on the anniversary of the crash,

for the first time ever,

we will attempt to make contact with the ghosts of Flight 401...

we will attempt to make contact with the ghosts of Flight 401...

[girl on radio]

-It said black. -[woman on radio]

Box!

Literally just said black box.

...and find out the horrible truth

about what happened that fateful night.

[Cindy] I just keep hearing a woman who's screaming and screaming.

[voice on radio]

-[Steve whispers] There you go. -[Ron] Thank you.

[producer] 203, take one. 80 common mark.

[Ron] My name is Ron Infantino.

I'm a survivor of Eastern Airline Flight 401,

and I have a story to tell.

So, Ron, if you could take me to the beginning of that day.

Where were you and your wife, Lilly,

headed to when you boarded Flight 401?

[Ron] Lilly's birthday was December 7th.

[Ron] Lilly's birthday was December 7th.

We got married on December 9th.

We were so excited starting a life.

She had a great job with the school board.

She was the most beautiful loving person I've ever met my entire life.

We really enjoyed life together as husband and wife.

We were headed back to Miami,

after celebrating our honeymoon.

Remember, this was a brand new plane.

I said, "Look, honey, look how beautiful this aircraft is."

And she was really impressed.

And she was really impressed.

It was gorgeous, it had different colored upholstery,

and a beautiful bar area in the back.

It was, um, state of the art.

[attendant] Can I just have you put your tray table up.

Make sure your mile are fastened.

I had such a good time in New York.

It was the best.

I can't believe we're married.

"Mrs. Infantino."

I'm gonna have to get used to signing that.

[airplane notification]

[Loft on radio] Good evening, Flight 401,

this is Captain Loft.

We're beginning our initial decent into Miami,

where the weather right now is a balmy 78 degrees.

Flight attendants prepare the cabin for landing.

As always, we thank you for flying with Eastern.

You think I have time to go to the bathroom?

Yeah, you probably, let me check...

Excuse me.

[whispering] Hi, what can I do for you?

Do you think I have time to use the ladies' room?

-If you make it quick. -Okay, thank you.

-I can take those for you. -[Ron] Thank you so much.

Directional, gyro line.

Directional, gyro line.

Yes, sir.

-Okay, right strobes. -Check.

-Left strobes. -Check.

Landing gear.

Landing gear?

I thought I heard the wheels come down, but...

the light's not coming on.

[sighs] It's probably a fuse. Cheap lightbulb or something.

[sighs] It's probably a fuse. Cheap lightbulb or something.

Get eyes on 'em.

Repo, go down to that hellhole and bring a flashlight.

I'll get visual confirmation and radio up.

[Loft] 401 to Miami tower.

Gonna loop around, need a new approach.

Trying to troubleshoot.

[Ron] It was a very uneventful flight.

It was beautiful, smooth.

Comfortable.

No problem whatsoever.

We had no idea what was going on in the cockpit.

We had no idea what was going on in the cockpit.

Like, even the flight attendants didn't have a clue what was going on.

Have you heard from Repo, yet?

What's taking him so long?

[Steve] But the pilots don't realize

how much trouble they're in.

I'm an airplane mechanic.

[hisses] That's still hot.

[sighs]

[grunts]

Whoa, there's something wrong with the altimeter.

-What? -[alarm rings] Warning.

We're supposed to be at 2,000 feet, that says 900 feet.

We're supposed to be at 2,000 feet, that says 900 feet.

[alarm continues] Caution, caution.

We're too low.

-[alarm continues] Caution, caution. -We're too close the ground.

Repo, get up here. What the hell is happening?

[alarm continues]

[high pitch ringing]

[Ron] I woke up in the Everglades.

[groans]

Water up to my chin.

In a sitting position with no clothes on.

Butt naked.

[cries]

And I couldn't hear

a pin drop.

It was dead silence.

[groans]

Oh, my God. We crashed.

No. No! We crashed!

Lilly!

[Steve] Ron would never see his wife Lilly again.

One hundred and one souls perished that night.

One hundred and one souls perished that night.

One hundred and one souls left behind.

Oh, my God. We crashed.

I'm Steve Shippy.

I'm in the Everglades

just outside of Miami, Florida.

On the eve of its 50th anniversary,

I'm here to investigate the infamous Eastern Air Lines Flight 401 plane crash.

And I've assembled a film crew to document this journey.

On December 29th, 1972,

the L-1011 Aircraft departed JFK bound for Miami.

the L-1011 Aircraft departed JFK bound for Miami.

For the most part, it was an unremarkable flight.

Until the crew began it's final descent.

Just before landing, there was an error

with the landing gear terminal light.

The pilot, Captain Bob Loft, was so focused on the issue,

he didn't realize he somehow turned off autopilot.

And the plane's altitude has slowly dropped

from 2,000 feet to 900,

causing the plane to suddenly crash.

causing the plane to suddenly crash.

It was quite literally the crash that changed everything.

[reporter] That yellow flag is the only one that does not represent a body.

That is the first point of impact.

The plane dug in here and cartwheeled

all the way down there, perhaps 150 yards.

[Steve] Of the 176 on board the flight,

only 75 people survived,

and were traumatized by more than just the crash.

Months after the accident,

locals, flight attendants, and even the pilots

locals, flight attendants, and even the pilots

began witnessing the ghostly apparitions

of those souls lost in the tragic event.

What's more, the paranormal activity hasn't stopped.

Locals report hearing screaming in the Everglades at night.

Feelings of being watched,

and even full-body apparitions.

Is the crash site haunted?

Nearly 50 years later, I'm teaming up with Cindy Kaza,

the world renowned psychic medium,

the world renowned psychic medium,

to find out.

Right now, I'm headed to an undisclosed location

to meet with Cindy.

We're gonna be travelling 15 miles off the shore,

deep into the heart of the Florida Everglades.

I know where the wreckage is of Flight 401,

but Cindy does not.

She likes to be left in the dark as much as possible,

so she has no influence of any bias of any kind.

I wanna take her out there, see what she picks up on,

and see if she can sense where the actual crash happened.

and see if she can sense where the actual crash happened.

All right, we should be here, right about here.

Yeah, there she is, there's Cindy.

Hey, Cindy.

-How's it going? -Good, how you doing?

Glad you found the spot.

All right, so I've arranged for an airboat to take us out,

deep into the Everglades.

Wanna do it during the daylight,

kinda get the lay of the land.

-It's potentially dangerous out there. -Yes.

Alligators, snakes...

Lots of potential hazards out there.

I wanna take you to the general vicinity of the crash site,

I wanna take you to the general vicinity of the crash site,

and see if you can pinpoint where this disaster happened.

-All right, you wanna get out there? -Yeah.

Okay, let's go.

I'm a little bit apprehensive about this,

I've never investigated on the water,

much less one of the most dangerous bodies of water in the world.

It's definitely an unsettling feeling.

It's definitely an unsettling feeling.

It's virtually going out into a mass graveyard

where so many people perished.

We're talking over 100 victims.

[Cindy] I always like to go cold into a case.

So I can just feel what I feel without any hindrance.

But I can definitely tell you,

I'm already feeling a deep sense of dread.

A lot of lives are lost here.

There's a sadness that's very present.

-[Steve] Man, did you see that alligator right there? -[Cindy] I did, yeah.

Yeah, it's right by, right by the boat.

Well, Cindy, out of 7,000,000 acres of the Everglades,

I brought you to the general vicinity of the crash site.

I just want you to tune in

and tell me which way you think the crash site actually is.

Well, first I want to say how awful it would be

to, obviously, be in a plane crash anywhere

-but here... -Yeah, could you imagine?

To feel so helpless, right?

You're here and how does anybody possibly find you?

I'm definitely feeling cold

in two locations, like there's two sites, like this.

in two locations, like there's two sites, like this.

But it's over in this direction, for sure.

That's exactly right.

That is literally the direction of the crash site.

Can we go through the sawgrass?

Can we get further in?

I think we should go explore.

[Steve] Cindy's feeling like we should go on the levy,

which is where the plane hit and finally stopped.

[Cindy] All right, so...

We need to go further this way, I feel like.

If we go like...

Is it right in here?

It's so strange though,

'cause it's like I feel like I want to be like here,

but then I want to go closer to those trees too.

You're spot on.

So, the plane came down here, hit,

and just exploded.

Pieces came barreling over, right here,

and just kind of hit this levy.

So these are the two spots you kept hitting on.

So these are the two spots you kept hitting on.

It's like, I, we have to find the pieces.

There's, like, a lot of pieces to the puzzle.

It's really a strange case.

It's bizarre.

But it's, like, I see something with, um, one of the seats.

The arm. Then I see somebody taking something with the wing.

The arm. Then I see somebody taking something with the wing.

There's maybe a window.

I keep, or a door. I keep seeing all these different pieces of the plane.

I'm going to do some psychometry.

So I'm going to touch a piece of the levy

and just allow whatever images that come to me, to come to me.

-And see what I pick up on. -Okay.

Please.

Um.

[crying]

[crying]

I just keep hearing a woman crying.

Like, screaming, crying, crying.

[screaming]

You know, there is memory and stuff attached to this location.

I know that. I feel, like, hearing this woman screaming. That is real.

-[Steve] Do you think she's a victim of Flight 401? -[Cindy] I do.

I do. I think she's definitely connected.

[screaming]

-My baby. Please. -[baby crying]

I keep hearing there's a motherless child,

that's left behind because of her passing.

So sad, right?

Yeah, there's been several reports of a woman screaming out here.

She does haunt this land.

Because I hear it. It's loud.

Can you try to tap into that moment of the crash?

There's something with the lights, um, not flashing right,

There's something with the lights, um, not flashing right,

-or, I don't know. I'm seeing, like, the lights. -[Steve] Right.

In the cockpit, the pilots didn't believe the landing gear was down.

They felt it come down.

But the indicator light did not say it was, so they couldn't land.

So that's why they were making this big circle,

-till they could figure that out. -That's what it is.

That little malfunction is what brought this plane down

and created this entire catastrophe.

[Cindy] I know that a lot has been told about this story.

A lot of people know about this in the public,

but there are some things that really have been left in the dark,

but there are some things that really have been left in the dark,

that have been concealed or not shown truthfully.

There's a lot more to this story than what people think

and that's actually what we're really here to find.

[Steve] So I think, you know, between all the information

that you just gave me, was psychometry.

I got some people in town I need to go talk to.

I've got some interviews I gotta do.

-We need to come back here and do a full investigation. -I agree.

This is gonna be really dangerous at night.

This is gonna be really dangerous at night.

[Steve] Extremely dangerous. Yes.

It's clear Cindy's already making contact

with the spirits at the crash site.

I wanna head to town to meet with Mercy,

one of the flight attendants who survived the crash,

to understand exactly what they went through.

Even though it's been 50 years,

this community has absolutely not forgotten the victims

and the tragedy that took place out here.

and the tragedy that took place out here.

[female reporter] It was just before midnight, December 29th, 1972.

[Steve] At the time, the crash was the biggest in US history.

[male reporter] This is the crash scene as it looked in daylight.

[Steve] The plane was traveling at 227 miles per hour

when it hit the ground.

[male reporter] Crash occurred in the Everglade swamps.

[Steve] As it hit, it essentially barreled and rolled three times,

breaking the plane as it went.

Eventually, it hit a levy that finally made it stop.

Eventually, it hit a levy that finally made it stop.

The same levy Cindy and I stood on today.

[female reporter] Wreckage and bodies of Flight 401

were scattered over a one mile radius in foot deep water.

[Steve] Remarkably, air boat operators and locals came to help

and rescued survivors and helped lead

the official medical teams to the disaster site.

[female reporter] One hundred and one passengers and crew were killed.

[Steve] Seventy five people survived that crash.

I can't image what survivors went through.

And I really wanna talk to Mercy to get a firsthand experience

And I really wanna talk to Mercy to get a firsthand experience

of what it was like being on that flight

and going through that impact and surviving.

This must be it.

Here's Mercy's house.

[car door opening]

[car door closing]

[footsteps]

Hey, Mercy.

-Hi. -[Steve] Hey, how you doing?

I'm fine. It's good to see you.

And great to see you in person.

[Steve] Thanks so much for taking the time to sit down with me

[Steve] Thanks so much for taking the time to sit down with me

and share some information on your story.

Um, how long did you work for Eastern Air Lines?

I was a flight attendant.

I flew a total of 22 years with Eastern.

-[Steve] Twenty two years. -[Mercy] Twenty two years from 1970.

Can you tell me about that night?

To start from the beginning.

Uh, it was a trip that was a turnaround.

It was, uh, Flight 26 northbound to Kennedy

and 401 southbound to Miami.

It was just a regular flight. Just like another flight.

We checked in and we went to the airplane and we started to fly.

[plane roaring]

We did our, uh, cabin checks.

And I sat down in my jump seat.

And all of a sudden, I see the coast of Miami.

In other words, we overflew Miami.

[plane roaring]

So I unfastened my belt and went over to Patricia.

And I asked her, I said, "Pat, you know, why aren't we landing?"

And I asked her, I said, "Pat, you know, why aren't we landing?"

And she, we were good friends.

And she said, "Uh, you're always complaining.

Go sit down. It's probably traffic."

Just laughed and...

So I went back and sat in my seat.

[vibration]

First there was a vibration.

-[whirring] -[warning sirens]

The captain tried to lift the nose of the airplane,

when they realized we were so low.

[plane roaring]

[plane roaring]

The light system, it blinked from beginning of the cabin

to the back. [mimics beeping] And it went dark.

And all of a sudden, there was a tremendous twist.

The airplane did a 360 degree turn

and disintegrated.

It came to pieces, totally.

Destroyed, like, if it had been shredded.

When I came about...

-[breathing heavily] Mercy. -...I felt like a slow motion.

Like if I was moving in slow motion.

And I could feel something hot in my back.

It was blood.

-I need you to sit up, okay? -[Mercy] Beverly found me.

-[Mercy] I'm so cold. -[Beverly] I know. You're in shock.

I'm gonna go help find other passengers, okay?

She knew, you know, there was fuel all over the place.

She knew, you know, there was fuel all over the place.

Do not light a match. Do not light a match.

But if you can hear me, follow the sound of my voice.

[Mercy] While I was laying down there, she found a baby.

[Beverly] We need to keep him warm, okay?

Beverly brings me the baby.

The baby was 11 months old.

He lost both his parents.

Beverly tried to go help people,

but it was so dark.

So she started singing Christmas carols.

โ™ช Silent night โ™ช

โ™ช Silent night โ™ช

โ™ช Holy night โ™ช

[Mercy] It was a fantastic idea.

โ™ช All is calm โ™ช

[Mercy] You know we could hear the, um, helicopters.

But they couldn't land in the area I was,

because there was so much debris.

I realized that I was in a levy. It was solid,

which was extremely, um, lucky,

because a lot of people survived the crash but they drowned.

because a lot of people survived the crash but they drowned.

It was very sad to realize that the two other flight attendants,

Patricia and, uh, Stephanie didn't make it...

because they were unconscious

and their faces were in the water.

Forty nine years later, it's part of the pilot's training in every airline,

because it was negligence.

They were not paying attention.

They were not paying attention.

Unfortunately, it cost them their lives too.

The captain, he died right on site.

Now the co-pilot, Stockhill, bled to death.

Repo was the engineer.

He survived, uh, quite a few days in the hospital, but then he passed.

From the research I've been doing so far,

I'm learning that Eastern Air Lines did not want

its staff or employees to talk about strange things

that were reportedly happening on flights.

that were reportedly happening on flights.

After the accident, some of the employees,

they claimed that there was a ghost that appeared.

[whimpering]

[whimpering]

[swooshing]

[gasps]

[Steve] Do you believe crew members were telling the truth

when they were seeing, uh, ghosts?

I do.

Some people have the capacity to see spirits.

I don't see why somebody would lie, something like that.

What would they gain by it?

Certainly I think it's a great airplane and so do our pilots.

So Mercy, I see you have several different items here.

This is the, to me, is the main item.

This is my suitcase.

There were ten of these.

There were ten of these.

The only one that came back intact, was this.

I had my little instamatic camera in my suitcase.

I said, "Let's"-- You know, we're all trying

to get out of the trip on the 31st.

[indistinct chatter]

[Mercy] Obviously for the holiday.

Beverly.

Beverly, come on.

[Mercy] So I said, "Let's take some pictures

because this might be our last trip together.

Everybody's biggest smiles.

-One, two, three. -[all] Cheese.

-One, two, three. -[all] Cheese.

This photograph. You see that I'm joking around with one of the girls.

Putting, like, little horns.

And the other one is holding the other.

Those were the two girls that died.

It's like they were marked

or chosen or something.

I don't believe there's a coincidence.

-So these were the last photos taken of the flight crew? -[Mercy] Definitely.

Yes, they were taken hours before the crash.

Yes, they were taken hours before the crash.

Hindsight of that, there's the little instamatic camera,

that we took the pictures that we have been looking at.

It is not a coincidence that the only suitcase that came back

was this one with the camera.

And the very last pictures of the two flight attendants that did not survive.

-Were taken with this camera? -Right. Mmm-hmm.

-[Steve] That's not a coincidence. -No.

Mercy, if you would trust me with it,

would you consider letting me use the camera and the photo

could help me greatly with my investigation.

could help me greatly with my investigation.

-Of course. -[Steve] Thank you so much for trusting me with these.

[Mercy] That's history.

-[Steve] Yes it is. -That's part of history of my life.

[Steve] Mercy just gave me the last known photo of the flight crew.

And particularly, the flight attendants who perished in the crash.

The way Mercy said it was kind of chilling.

It's almost as if they were marked.

And when you see the photo, I can understand where she's coming from.

Hearing all these stories of paranormal activity,

I wanna go meet right now with Elizabeth Fuller,

I wanna go meet right now with Elizabeth Fuller,

paranormal researcher and expert on this case.

Back in 1976, she began working hand-in-hand with her husband,

John Fuller, on the infamous book, The Ghost of Flight 401.

Years later, she actually wrote her own book about her journey,

titled, My Search for the Ghost of Flight 401.

I wanna sit down with her and speak in great detail

about the paranormal experiences that people were having after the crash.

So Elizabeth, you were a flight attendant.

-How long were you in aviation? -Yes.

Seven years.

[plane roaring]

[Steve] How did this journey begin for you?

[Elizabeth] Northwest and Eastern Air Lines, in various cities,

share the same crew lounge.

And, uh, shortly after the plane crash in 1972,

I would just start hearing stories,

just hanging out in the crew lounge between flights,

with Eastern Air Lines pilots, their flight attendants.

And they started talking about the ghost.

And then I was on a flight.

It was in 1976.

And the girls in the galley started talking about the writer onboard,

who was asking all about the ghost of Eastern Air Lines.

And so I said, "Oh, I know about that.

Where's he sitting?"

I came across this man with long legs in the aisle.

And I said, "Excuse me, sir.

Are you the writer?"

And he looked up at me and said,

"Are you the stewardess?"

So that's how John and I met.

So that's how John and I met.

Long story short,

he hired me as his research assistant

to try to find out whatever I could.

We talked to dozens

of totally normal people

who had these very abnormal things happen.

Jenny Packard.

How're you doing?

[Elizabeth Fuller] Flight attendant was going through

just before take-off.

-Oh, excuse me, Miss. -Yes?

May I have my carry-on down, please?

-Of course. -Thank you.

[gasping]

There was a face.

Are you okay, you all right?

[Elizabeth] And then it disappeared.

Are you okay, darling?

Mmm-hmm, yeah, everything's okay.

[Elizabeth] And when she went to report it,

she was warned.

You can't report that.

[Steve] And that wasn't the only sighting.

[screaming]

The passenger said he was in a pilot's uniform.

And he just disappeared.

He just vanished.

Did you see?

So the question I have right now

that I can't seem to wrap my head around.

I mean, it makes perfect sense why the crash site would be haunted

but why were these other planes

having these experiences?

[Elizabeth] The sightings were almost exclusively on

airplanes where the salvaged parts

were taken from the crashed plane

[Steve] Wait a minute.

So you're saying they took parts

from the crash site of Flight 401

and used these parts on different planes?

[Elizabeth] Yes.

That's exactly what they did.

[Steve] Okay, wait a minute.

They took salvaged parts from the crash site of Flight 401--

Yes, non-structural.

And put them on other planes.

That's a direct cause of paranormal activity.

-Yep. -There's no question.

-[Elizabeth] Because it's all energy. -Yes.

It's energy.

Okay, so all these planes that had these repurposed parts,

were having sightings?

Dozens and dozens.

Wow.

[Elizabeth] If anything unusual ever happens,

in the cockpit, there's a flight logbook.

in the cockpit, there's a flight logbook.

And pages were ripped out.

Or new logbooks were put in.

You're saying all this information was taken out of the logs?

-Sure. -Why?

They were scared to death that this would get out to the media,

to the public.

They didn't want their airline connected with ghosts, apparitions.

-So it was a cover-up? -A massive cover-up.

Massive. And then the crew members lived in fear

of telling their stories,

for fear that they were gonna lose their jobs.

for fear that they were gonna lose their jobs.

[Steve] Of course.

What happened to these parts?

So the parts were repurposed, thus causing all this activity

on all these different planes.

And then they started to remove these parts?

Sure.

[Steve] Where did those parts end up?

What did they do with these parts?

Nobody knows.

They were definitely removed.

We spoke to the chief mechanic

and he said, "orders from headquarters.

They're coming out."

So, headquarters, they removed them, the sightings stop.

But why is the haunting still continuing in that area?

But why is the haunting still continuing in that area?

The crash site and the surrounding area?

I feel that there's spirits from the crash

of 401 that are not at rest.

Elizabeth, I can't thank you enough for sharing all this information with me.

I mean, your journey with all of this began in 1976.

We're talking, essentially 50 years

-worth of information and research. -Yep.

Uh, thank you so much.

And I would like to ask you,

And I would like to ask you,

would you be comfortable with me using some of these items?

[Elizabeth] Absolutely, please.

[Steve] For my investigation purposes?

Sure and I can even put you in touch with a flight attendant

that had an experience.

[Steve] That would be incredible, thank you.

Actually being able to sit down with Elizabeth, one on one,

learning all of this information about the case,

how many sightings that there has been,

the massive cover-up, all these details.

I mean, really, it blew my mind.

Now that I'm armed with all this information

I think Cindy and I are ready to conduct our first investigation

of the crash site.

I've definitely excited to get out there in the Everglades tonight

and start our first night of investigation.

I agree.

And, you know, I was picking up on so much

during the base lines.

So I'm really hoping to connect in with the spirits

to find out, you know, what's really going on there.

Our air boat captain has definitely warned us

to be extremely careful out there.

Because they've actually seen pythons out there over 20-feet.

Because they've actually seen pythons out there over 20-feet.

Wow, okay.

We're not just dealing with ghosts.

We're dealing with alligators and snakes and whatever else, right?

Yeah.

It's definitely gonna be a little bit of, uh, an experience,

to say the least.

So going out there in the dark

we just gotta, you know, be really careful

especially stepping off of the boat.

So the mission for tonight,

find out is the crash site of Flight 401 truly haunted.

And if it is, who are we making contact with?

And if it is, who are we making contact with?

[boat motor humming]

[Steve] Cindy, we're here.

I have some trigger objects related to this tragedy.

I wanna get up on the shore

and I wanna do some call response.

Put some meters around

and just kind of investigate with these items.

I'm gonna set this picture down

that Mercy gave me

that Mercy gave me

for a trigger item.

[Cindy] I'm definitely gonna do automatic writing.

I'm just gonna let the information come through me.

And I'll probably use clairvoyance.

Which is using imagery to find out what's happening.

All right, Cindy, I'm just gonna go ahead

and just place the camera here.

All right, call out if you need me.

I will, thanks.

[insects chirping]

[Steve sighing]

[Steve] I've got a motion detector set up here.

Vibration, REM pod, K2, I have a camera.

Vibration, REM pod, K2, I have a camera.

Of course, the GeoPort.

[machine beeping]

I'm going to start to investigate now

while Cindy's performing automatic writing.

Okay.

So you got a lot of spirits

that are attached to this place.

They just want their pain to be resolved.

That's what I'm seeing.

It's, like, you can hear their cries,

you can hear their screams.

Please!

Please!

Please come toward the sound of my voice.

Come toward these lights.

Gonna conduct an EVP session real quick.

I'm going to hit record on this device.

You can speak into it.

I can play it back.

And this is one way that we can communicate.

Is anybody here with me?

Can you tell me your name?

[recorder crackling]

[Steve] Is anybody here with me?

Can you tell me your name?

[recorder crackling]

Direct response.

Charles, are you setting this device off?

[machine beeping]

Do you think you could stop it for a minute?

[beeping stops]

That's crazy, I mean, that's...

[machine beeping]

Okay, that's absolute intelligence.

It's showing intelligence right now.

That's remarkable.

Charles, it's good to meet you.

Charles, it's good to meet you.

Do you have a message?

I'm open to listen to you.

[recorder crackling]

[muffled voice recording]

This is quite possibly one of the greatest EVPs

I've ever captured in my life.

It literally just said,

"I am the one who died in a plane crash."

A full, intelligent sentence

right here in this spot.

right here in this spot.

Listen.

[recorder crackling]

[muffled voice recording]

Can you hear it?

This is extremely rare.

This is beyond a class A EVP.

It's not one word or two syllables.

This is an entire sentence.

That woman is back though, I sense her.

That woman that I sensed earlier.

The one who is screaming and screaming and screaming.

Who lost a child.

Like, I feel her, she is...

She's here.

She's here.

Please! Where's my baby?

I think I wanna try the GeoPort.

You can talk to me through this device.

[machine echoing]

Who's here?

[machine echoing]

Charles, it said Charles again.

Now it said Charles through the GeoPort.

[pencil scratching]

Somebody... I feel like he lived and was held by another woman.

Like, somebody swooped this baby.

Excuse me, sir.

[baby crying]

Sir.

[Cindy] I see her watching everybody.

[Cindy] I see her watching everybody.

[woman crying]

And crying and screaming

because she realized what had happened.

My baby, my baby!

She couldn't help anybody, nobody could see her.

It was awful.

Where are you taking my baby?

No!

[Steve] Do you need help?

[muffled voice recording]

Help? It sounded like it said "help us."

[muffled voice recording]

Help, again.

Are you all around me right now?

[muffled voice recording]

[muffled voice recording]

Yes.

That was... that gave me the chills.

This is literally, like, sensory overload.

Like, everything is going completely haywire.

And it's like you can feel the eyes on you.

So the man who wanders this land here

he died with the others in this crash.

He never was able to fix his mistakes.

He feels like he was the one who caused the crash.

And I feel like it's the engineer.

And I feel like it's the engineer.

Somebody has communicated with him

somewhere other than here since he's died

because he's trying to apologize for what happened.

Repo, go down to that hellhole.

All right, I'll get visual confirmation and radio up.

[Steve] I spoke to Liz Fuller

about Mr. Repo, Don Repo.

Don, are you here?

[machine echoing]

Sounded like it said Don to me, that's pretty crazy.

[machine echoing]

It's, like, "I'm here." Did you hear it?

[machine echoing]

I hope you don't feel responsible, Don.

Can you come toward me?

Can you reach out and touch me?

We have a device that'll allow us to see you.

[Steve] It's touching my hand?

[Steve] This is crazy.

Don?

[Steve] Don?

Jamie, where is it now?

[Steve] Broken up?

[Steve] It's gone?

[machine echoing]

Don.

Don, was that you?

[machine beeping]

This is literally overwhelming.

Tonight's investigation was crazy.

Yeah, it was wild.

There's no question we came in contact

with intelligent spirits out here.

And I believe them to be the spirits of Flight 401.

The activity as crazy

and I was hearing so many spirits

and communicating with spirits through automatic writing.

So, we've got a lot of work cut out for us on this one.

Definitely, I have a lot of stuff to go through.

I say we pack it up, get out of here

and go back to home base.

[Steve] Well, Cindy. I got a couple of EVPs.

This is one that I caught.

This is one that I caught.

It's very important, uh, because I think it kind of sets the tone

of our investigation here.

[Steve] Please speak into the recorder.

-Okay, so you can hear-- -[Cindy] Yep.

-There's two words there. -[Cindy] Okay.

[Steve] Please speak into the recorder.

[muffled voice recording]

Right there, I heard it, that's loud and clear.

And that's what the digital recorder

and I was also picking that up as well from the GeoPort.

What exactly did you experience?

I felt the woman that I felt during the base line.

I felt the woman that I felt during the base line.

I could feel her grief, her pain.

I was hearing her say, "I couldn't hold him anymore."

Like, he was wrapped but she couldn't hold the baby anymore.

And the baby survived but she died.

[Steve] I want you to look at this photo here.

This is a child, Miguel, that survived the crash.

[Cindy] But the parents died.

-[Steve] The parents died. -[Cindy] The mom died.

[Steve] And this poor child was found without clothing,

laying in the water.

And they wrapped him up in that coat.

Very similar to this coat here behind me.

Very similar to this coat here behind me.

I knew that this baby survived and was wrapped in something.

Oh, my God, this is so crazy.

Yeah.

I also felt the engineer.

And what he was sharing with me

was that he felt responsible somehow.

One of the most famous ghosts, you could say, of Flight 401,

that people see very, very often.

It's uh, Don Repo. It's this gentleman here on the bottom right.

-[Cindy] Mmm-hmm. Yes. -[Steve] You think that could be who it was?

Many people believe that Don Repo really

would have been the kind of guy that

would take this upon himself to feel like, you know,

he didn't do his diligence.

And it was sad because he felt so guilty.

He is trying to make things right still on the other side.

He feels he needs to make things right.

You were making a statement

when we were out in the Everglades.

-Uh, you were saying, repurposing. -Yes.

[Steve] That plane that went down was a state of the art jet at the time.

And because of the mud and the water,

it kind of absorbed some of the impact.

So it wasn't a complete loss.

And there were very expensive parts

that were perfectly in-tact, perfectly fine.

The airline made a decision to take those parts

and repurpose them for other planes.

That's interesting.

And when that happened,

there were all these different sightings on all these different planes

-with those repurposed parts from Flight 401. -Yep.

That is really fascinating.

Hearing Steve telling me all these details about the crash,

I mean, honestly, I'm a little bit overwhelmed.

These spirits are showing up in multiple locations.

These spirits are showing up in multiple locations.

Clearly, they're trying to get people's attention, but why?

[Steve] I really wanna understand the paranormal encounters on the other planes

that had the repurposed parts from Flight 401 on them.

Elizabeth Fuller is putting me in contact with Cheri.

Cheri was a flight attendant on Eastern Air Lines for over 20 years.

And she believes she experienced and saw the spirit of Don Repo.

All right, Cheri, thank you so much for coming here

to meet with me today.

Have you ever spoke about any of these things publicly?

-Publicly? No. -[Steve] Wow.

I guess, let's... let's start with, uh, your experience working

in the airline industry.

How did that come about

-and how long did you work in the airline industry? -47 years.

And I flew for Eastern, 25 years.

[Steve] So, the moment you found out about the crash of Flight 401,

what did you do from that moment?

[reporter] Wreckage and bodies of Flight 401 were scattered over a 1-mile radius

[reporter] Wreckage and bodies of Flight 401 were scattered over a 1-mile radius

in foot-deep water.

The first thing I did as I went to the guy who was at the phone,

and I said, "Please tell me about the cockpit crew."

You know, I wanted to know if they survived.

And then that's when they told me

no, the captain died before they got to the hospital.

And when I found out it was Bob Loft,

I went, "Oh, my goodness."

It's... it's Bob Loft.

I mean, he's been with the airline,

I think it was over 30 years.

I can't imagine what that would be like to, you know,

to lose your close family members in that sense.

to lose your close family members in that sense.

So, Cheri, I wanted to ask you,

did you ever, yourself,

have a paranormal experience while flying with Eastern Air Lines?

Yes, scared me half to death.

I went on this flight as a galley flight attendant.

I went downstairs.

I put my suitcase away where all your ovens are.

[air puff]

And all of a sudden, this ring of smoke came out.

And all of a sudden, this ring of smoke came out.

Then it grew and grew.

[gasps]

[screams]

And I went, uh,

this is weird and it's not normal.

So I felt like somebody was trying to tell me something.

-Wow. -But, yeah, when I think about it,

I believe Don Repo came to me.

Even though I didn't see his face...

Don, are you here?

...he was trying to tell me something was wrong.

...he was trying to tell me something was wrong.

Is that you?

I believe it might have been him coming down there because they said Don Repo.

-The stories I hear-- -What were you hearing?

Flight attendants who said that they, you know,

they would work the galley,

that they saw Don Repo.

-And this is coming from close Eastern Air Line family. -[Cheri] Yes.

This is crew. This is pilots.

It would seem to me there's a lot of validity in that

because I just don't think anybody on the airline

would make up a story like that.

-What purpose would it serve? -It would not.

And some of them, you know, would talk about it.

And some of them, you know, would talk about it.

Some of them wouldn't, and then nothing. [exhales]

Nobody would talk about it, nothing.

Never heard another word.

Why do you think that is?

This is my opinion.

I think it's because the management did not want Eastern to go down.

Well, Cheri, I wanna thank you so much

for coming on record with us, you know, for the first time

-publicly speaking about what happened. -[Cheri] Oh, yes.

When I think about it,

more so I felt that spirit around me.

I really did.

I feel it in my heart. I mean, he...

It'll stay with me forever.

It'll stay with me forever.

I'll never forget that.

After meeting with Cherie, I'm definitely starting to wonder

are these hauntings connected to these plane parts?

Is that energy left behind?

And what is trapping these spirits here?

I've precured a very rare item,

an actual window from the crash site of Flight 401.

I wanna do a test.

I wanna see if Cindy will meet me over at the Historical Society

to perform a technique called psychometry.

She doesn't know what the item is,

She doesn't know what the item is,

but I wanna see what she picks up on

to find out if in fact these spirits are attached to these plane parts.

So, this is the Miami Springs Historical Society.

They have the largest collection of Eastern Air Lines memorabilia

-in the entire state of Florida. -[Cindy] Mmm-hmm.

All right, Cindy.

-So, I have an item that was at the location... -Okay.

...out in the Everglades.

And I would like to just see,

you know, if you can tap into it,

what it might be, or just really anything that comes to you.

what it might be, or just really anything that comes to you.

Right. So, with psychometry, I might get the exact item,

or I might get something about the item,

or the item was used for, right?

-So I'll just go with what I'm getting. -[Steve] Yeah.

-Yeah, anything that comes to you. -Okay.

All right. Sorry.

[exhales]

I keep looking out of the, um,

pilot's front window,

like I'm looking out.

But I'm definitely in the cockpit.

-Was I close? -Let's go to that first part of that statement.

-Was I close? -Let's go to that first part of that statement.

You said you feel like you were in the cockpit looking out,

and you said a window.

Right. Looking out of the front window.

Okay. Let me show you what this is.

That's exactly what it is,

a window from the cockpit.

[Cindy] Imagine how much memory this holds.

-Especially of those last seconds when they realized... -Mmm-hmm.

...that they weren't at 2,000 feet.

[Steve] So it really makes me wander with everything that you've been hitting on

and picking up, and our experiences,

investigation out in the Everglades,

could the victims be tied to these physical objects from the crash site?

I mean, that's a definite possibility.

Well, I think this should be the perfect time to conduct this experiment.

I'll just set up some devices, place it around,

and let's just see if something happens because this is here.

[Cindy] Yep.

[device beeps]

I'm gonna set the recorder right there.

[device beeps]

Okay. Who's here with us?

Can you give us a name please?

Does this item look familiar to you?

Does it mean something to you?

We just had a big flash on the K2.

[device beeps]

Don Repo, are you here?

If you're not, Don,

can you setoff the meter again?

can you setoff the meter again?

Were you somebody in the cockpit that night on Flight 401?

[device beeps]

-That was direct. -That was a direct response.

[device beeps]

[Steve on recorder] Okay. Who's here with us?

Can you give us a name please?

Right there. It was like a three--

-Three or four words. -[Cindy] Three or four words.

There's a guy. What did it say?

It says, "This is from the crash site."

That's exactly what it said.

I mean, that's Class A.

I mean, that's remarkable...

-Mmm-hmm. -...to get that kind of a response.

Jamie, can you grab the SLS System real quick?

I'm just gonna keep recording here.

Mr. Repo.

You can speak to us,

and that device that Jamie has will allow us to see you.

So if you wanna come here, please feel free.

So if you wanna come here, please feel free.

Can you scan this area?

I feel like something is here, kind of beside me right now.

Why? What do you feel?

The temperature change or...

I felt... I mean, it felt kind of cold,

but also more like... more of an air,

like, you know when somebody walks past you...

-Yeah. -...and it kind of gives you that little puff of air...

-The breeze. -...like a breeze, yeah.

It was right here.

Are you by these uniforms here?

These are the same year when 401 went down.

Did you work for Eastern Air Lines?

It's touching the glass.

[Cindy] Oh, really?

[Steve] All right. Let's just let it...

Right now?

Mr. Repo, is this you?

I hope you're okay with us being here today.

Our hearts are with all of you.

And we would like to help you

in any way.

Jamie, where is it now?

We just want you to know that we come here with solid intention.

Cindy and I,

our camera crew,

we understand the gravity of what happened here.

we understand the gravity of what happened here.

Is it over here more now?

Yeah, I can literally feel it, Cindy.

-You can? -Like, I think I can feel...

It's like clockwise. It's moving this way.

[Cindy] That's crazy.

-Are you okay? -Yeah.

-[Steve] Is it really? -Whoa!

Yeah. I felt like it poked me in the chest.

Did you see me look down?

[Cindy] Like on you.

It's gone.

I think that, uh, pretty much gives us our answer.

I think that, uh, pretty much gives us our answer.

The Historical Society here has no paranormal activity.

-The building is not haunted. -Mmm-hmm.

-They haven't had any experiences like that. -Mmm-hmm.

But then we bring in this item here from Mr. Olsen,

put these meters up,

and we start getting these responses.

We're definitely dealing with a haunting,

but this is not something negative or dark.

No, definitely human spirits in search of help.

-Yep. -[Steve] Yeah.

-This was incredible. -Yeah.

[Steve] So I couldn't believe

you immediately pinpointed that it was a window from the plane.

you immediately pinpointed that it was a window from the plane.

These pieces hold so much psychic imprinting.

And the spirits are somehow connected to these pieces for sure.

But you know, Don Repo has been seen all over the place,

so I don't believe that he is trapped anywhere.

I think he can move about, and does move about.

So, if in fact we were dealing with Don Repo,

-it makes total sense why he could be there. -Yeah.

I could understand that for sure.

All right, Cindy.

I'm gonna go ahead and drop you off here shortly,

and I've arranged a meeting with a local that had a pretty hair-raising experience

near the Flight 401 crash site.

I wanna see if what he experienced could have any connection to our case.

I wanna see if what he experienced could have any connection to our case.

I know you don't wanna know too much...

-Yeah. -...so I'll drop you off first and then I'll go meet him.

-[Cindy] Perfect. -[Steve] All right.

-Hey, what's up, Tim? -Doing good.

I've heard that you had a really interesting experience

out in the Everglades.

Yeah, when I was a kid,

we would ride the horses out there, camp out there.

And we were out there one time

and it was vivid.

It was like, we heard a lady scream.

-[both swallowing] -Ah!

-[both swallowing] -Ah!

I don't know, man.

I think I'm gonna ask Stacey out.

[chuckles]

You're crazy.

She's way out of your league.

[chuckles]

[tapping]

What was that?

It's probably a gator.

That's why I told you we shouldn't come out here.

I don't know, man. I like it.

It's nice.

-It's peaceful. -[man] Yeah,

-It's peaceful. -[man] Yeah,

until you get eaten by a gator.

[chuckles]

[woman in distance] Help me. Please!

Dude, I definitely heard that.

[woman crying in distance]

-[woman screams] -Let's go.

[woman screams] No!

[woman screams and cries]

Hey!

Hello?

-You see anything? -[Tim] No.

Is anyone there?

[woman screams]

What is this?

[woman screams]

What is that?

[woman screams]

Do you think it could have been one of the spirits

-from the crash site of Flight 401? -Yeah, definitely.

Looking back now,

you know, she died suddenly

and she's reaching out to maybe find some answers.

As I'm doing my research, I'm hearing a lot of tales

-of the Everglades. You know, apparitions being seen. -Yeah.

What have you heard?

We had another plane crash years ago.

-Flight 401? -No, it's another jet.

[Tim] It went right into the swamp.

I don't know if they got it out,

to be honest with you.

It sucked right into the mud.

-So, there was another plane crash? -Mm-hmm.

-So, there was another plane crash? -Mm-hmm.

That's news to me right now.

-Yeah. -That kind of shocks me a little bit.

I had no idea that there were two

-major disasters out there. -Yeah.

[Steve] Last night, a local named Tim informed me

of another plane that crashed in the vicinity

of Flight 401.

And I did some research.

[man] We found a number of things this morning

that come from the cockpit area,

including the crew's flight bags,

log book of one of the crew,

log book of one of the crew,

piece of a control column from the cockpit

and parts of the windshield.

[Steve] After I filled Cindy in,

I was able to locate an aviation expert

who can give us more info on another plane that went down

near the Flight 401 crash site.

Contact right there.

[car door beeps]

[door closes]

-Hey, Benny. -Steve.

-Hey, Benny. -Steve.

-Good to meet you in person. -Hey, I'm Cindy.

-Welcome. How's everything? -Nice to meet you.

-How are you guys doing today? -Good.

Came to learn a lot of information,

but I'm hearing about another plane crash,

that supposedly happened

in the same area as Flight 401.

What can you tell me about that?

Yeah, ValuJet Flight 592.

Different circumstances,

but they crashed generally in the same area, 401.

Unfortunately, it was a massive fire

that consumed the aircraft.

[man] With the investigations progressing along,

trying to find parts,

and trying to move ahead.

and trying to move ahead.

So, how close would you say these two crashes were?

Well, Steve, I have a map here, hopefully could help you.

It's not to scale.

But it'll give you a reference on where both crashes occurred.

This being the airport at MIA.

Eastern Air Lines in 1972 and ValuJet.

-We're talking about a mile separation, Steve. -[Steve] A mile?

-[Benny] Yes, a mile. -[Cindy] That's crazy. That is so close.

[Steve] Two major tragedies within a mile.

[Benny] Correct.

Now, Benny, is there any other flight

disappearances or crashes that

kind of happened in that area that we should know about?

kind of happened in that area that we should know about?

Well, see, there's another one that was back in the 1940s.

It was a US Navy Flight 19.

Six Grumman Avengers took off

on a routine mission to the Bahamas and back,

never to be seen again.

They were communicating with the air station,

giving their coordinates.

They were reporting that their compasses were skew.

They didn't know where they were going.

And the entire flight just disappeared.

You're talking about going toward the Bahamas

-and compasses and magnetic issues... -Yeah.

-and compasses and magnetic issues... -Yeah.

-I mean, are wea talking Bermuda Triangle? -Triangle.

[Benny] Well, you gotta realize,

just go off the coast here

and you're in the Bermuda Triangle.

[Cindy] Oh, wow. That's wild.

So, their communication just went away?

-Like, communication was just cut? -They were heard

by the air station.

-Yeah. -And they were trying to tell 'em their coordinates,

but they were second guessing their instruments.

It was totally out of control.

-Got it. -So, their instruments were going haywire.

- [alarm beeping] -[Steve] Just like Flight 401.

-Exactly. -And they just disappeared?

An entire flight.

An entire flight.

[Steve] How many coincidences have to stack up before...

-Before you start questioning. -Seems to be a little strange.

-That's true. -Now, let me ask you this.

Is there anything around the Everglades

that has a strange energy or a power field?

Is there electrical lines? Anything at all

that you can think of that would be in that area?

Well, have you guys heard of Coral Castle?

-Coral Castle? No. -No.

[Benny] It is a place pretty close to this.

The lore has said there is some kind of

weird magnetic energy around there.

And when you look at it,

the radius of crashes throughout the many years,

the radius of crashes throughout the many years,

it's like a proximity relationship to this one site.

I don't know much about it, but I've heard it through many other,

you know, old timers within aviation.

I think we should go to Coral Castle.

Yeah, I think that's coming up.

-Yeah. -All right, Benny, thank you so much

for your time and for your information.

-Pleasure. -Thank you so much.

-Have a safe trip. Bye-bye. -Yeah, take care, yeah. Bye.

So, Cindy, after talking with Benny,

the aviation expert, learning about Coral Castle,

I did some research.

I really think we could be dealing

with some sort of weird energy source

with some sort of weird energy source

connecting all these locations.

Almost like the Bermuda Triangle theory.

Now, most people don't know,

but the northwest corner of the triangle

starts in Miami.

I'm wondering if there is some strange connection

between the crash sites and the Everglades,

and Coral Castle.

Coral Castle's a very bizarre and some say, mystic site.

Apparently, the creator Edward

secretly built this castle between 1923 and 1951.

He was driven to build the castle

by some sort of energy source.

by some sort of energy source.

He truly believed the location had great power.

He carved out a thousand tons of coral rock

to create this mysterious masterpiece.

I made a couple of phone calls

and I actually got in contact with the people at Coral Castle.

They gave us permission to go in there tonight

and actually investigate it.

That sounds fascinating. I can't wait to check that out.

[Cindy] Tonight, I really wanna try to make contact

with spirits from Flight 401 at Coral Castle,

with spirits from Flight 401 at Coral Castle,

to see if there's really a connection

and if so, why?

I'm gonna do some channeled art.

It's really an extension of my automatic writing.

So, I don't see the spirits and then draw them.

It just comes out

and the faces appear.

[machine beeping]

All right, so we're already getting some action here

and this is, of course, the window

from Flight 401 as a trigger object.

I've got motion sensors going off here.

Right now, it's going off, guys.

We also have motion and movement behind me

on two different tiers of the coral rock.

on two different tiers of the coral rock.

I don't even know what direction to look.

Everything is going off in every way.

And you can see how it's affecting the equipment.

[blows] Keep hearing the name Charles again.

I know I got that name before.

But I'm hearing it again.

Don, if you're here or any spirit of Flight 401,

can you set this device off right now,

so I know that someone's intelligently

communicating with me?

Can you do that?

Can you do that?

[beeping]

Whoa, that's a massive...

That EMF field is huge, guys.

So, there's something here now.

Something is right by the device.

I'm gonna start using the GeoPort.

If there's this many spirits here present,

this is gonna be the best way to communicate

with all of them by far.

I need everyone that's here that wants to talk to me,

if you have a message, if you wanna communicate,

let's use this device.

[indistinct sound]

Who is here with me?

[spirits talking]

Don, are you here?

[spirit talking]

Don.

Don.

Don, can we help you?

[spirit talking]

It said dead.

How many spirits are here?

-[spirit talking] -[Steve] Everywhere.

[spirit talking]

That's chilling. There's bodies everywhere.

There's bodies everywhere.

-[indistinct chatter] -[Steve] Do you feel trapped?

Any of you?

As soon as I asked if it was trapped,

we started getting hits on this.

Now this is picking up even more anomalies.

It's like they're everywhere. They're surrounding us here.

They're coming right to the GeoPort.

I mean, literally, they're coming toward the device.

When you keep saying bodies,

are you referring to the 401 crash

or the other plane crash I learned about today?

[indistinct chatter]

[spirit talking]

It sounded like it said they're in the water.

[Cindy] I feel like the energy...

Okay, so what this spirit just shared with me

is that there is something to do with building roads

that pushed the flow of water

from around here, it disrupted a flow of energy.

It connects somehow.

The energy of the ground...

I don't know if I'm, like, in the early 1900s.

I mean, I feel like this goes back sometime.

[Steve] Is this location connected to the crash site?

[spirit talking]

It says, "Connect. Connect."

-[spirit talking] -All?

-[spirit talking] -All three?

What are you trying to say? The energy created these crashes?

[spirit talking]

That's crazy. Yes was the response to that question.

[spirit talking]

[spirit talking]

Trapped. Trapped. Trapped.

Is that the connection you're trying to tell me?

You're all trapped?

-Because of the energy? -[spirit talking]

Crashed.

There's a source that's connecting

both locations.

It's like an electrical current.

Do we need to go back to the Everglades?

[spirit talking]

That's crazy.

You can hear the device is going off now.

You can hear the device is going off now.

That's if someone's touching it.

See how I'm doing that? It's the exact same sound.

Something is tapping the device

right by the GeoPort.

It's doing it now.

And it's a really weird sensation over here, honestly.

I'm gonna back up just a little bit.

'Cause it's making me feel dizzy.

Almost like cold sweats. I can't explain it,

but I don't even wanna stand there.

Literally, right now, I feel like I'm on

completely uneven ground.

I don't feel good standing there.

Not that I think that whatever's communicating is bad,

but it's just so much.

but it's just so much.

It's powerful.

Cindy?

Yeah, what's up?

Can you come here for a minute?

[spirit talking]

Yeah.

[spirit talking]

[Cindy] Hey.

Everything is going completely

-crazy over here. -No. I mean, I could hear it

when I was drawing over there.

Like, it was, I could hear everything going off at once.

Like, it was, I could hear everything going off at once.

It's really crazy, but honestly,

for me, like, I can't even stand here now.

I'm feeling, like, dizzy. I'm feeling really, like,

almost like cold sweats.

-I can't explain it. -I can feel it, too.

But I feel it more, like, um,

a force field or something.

Like when you get close to it, you can feel the pressure.

-Yes, right there. -I feel it.

-Just kept build... -It's building.

[Cindy] From the second I stepped

inside

this location,

I was convinced

I was convinced

that Edward, the man who built it

was communicating with spirits.

I am a hundred percent

convinced he's a medium.

There is something else

driving him. I know he talked to spirits.

I know they told him where to put things,

-how to carve them. -[Steve] I don't doubt that at all.

I mean, look at this place.

He understood how powerful this spot is.

And he knew how to work with that energy.

[Steve] Well, I mean, the way it's making my gear malfunction,

I had a bunch of batteries die.

I had obvious intelligent communication,

I had obvious intelligent communication,

but some of what was happening

-was just extreme malfunction. -Right.

I mean, imagine what that could do

to an instrument panel on a plane.

I definitely think that these locations are connected

Clearly, we've communicated with the victims of Flight 401.

-Right. -And maybe, even some of these other plane crashes.

-Right. -And without a doubt,

I mean, you see how it's influencing my gear.

-Yeah. -We're experiencing the power.

I mean, I couldn't even stand there.

-That's how powerful it was. -Yeah. And I felt it, too.

We gotta go back.

-Yep. -You know, if they're asking for help,

they're saying, "Go", "See", "Look", "Water",

I think the answers lie in the Everglades.

I agree, let's go back.

I definitely think we've established a connection

to all these locations.

The crash sites in the Everglades

and Coral Castle.

and Coral Castle.

In my opinion, it has something to do

with a strange and bizarre energy source.

Something like the Bermuda Triangle.

The Bermuda Triangle sits right off the coast of Florida,

with its points touching Miami,

Bermuda and Puerto Rico.

The crazy thing is that at least 75 planes

and hundreds of ships

have entered this infamous region of the Atlantic

and never emerged.

This area has a strange energy source

that causes serious malfunction

that causes serious malfunction

with radar, sonar and all electrical instruments,

causing a series of disasters throughout history.

[Cindy] At Coral Castle, I was definitely seeing

that the energy source is connected at both locations,

but is it really the Bermuda Triangle?

All I know is that we need to get back to the Everglades

and confirm our theory.

Well, this is it, Cindy, final night of investigation.

We have a lot still, that we need to... figure out.

Our answers are out there, somewhere.

[car doors open]

[Cindy] Shippy and I are trying to really understand

if these two energy sources are connected and how.

And, we also need to figure out

why these spirits are here.

Are they trapped because of this energy source

and do they need our help?

[boat engine roaring]

-[device beeps] -I am gonna roll on this.

[devices beeping]

Alright, I've got all the gear set up.

-I'm gonna try just to get a recording... -Sure.

...real quick and see if we can capture anything.

Don, are you here? Are you listening to us talk?

Don, are you here? Are you listening to us talk?

[on device] Don, are you here? Are you listening to us talk?

Repo!

-That is wild. -Listen, listen to this.

[on device] Don, are you here? Are you listening to us talk?

-[gasps] -Repo.

That was so...

-That was so loud and clear. -Repo.

He keeps saying to me,

"People need to know the true story

of what is really happening here."

Oh, my God. We crashed.

[Cindy] People aren't getting it right.

-[baby crying] -[woman] Where's my baby?

-[baby crying] -[woman] Where's my baby?

Where's my baby?

There's more to the story.

People don't understand what's happening on this land.

[device beeping]

Don's trying to tell you something.

-There's no doubt. -I know.

I think right now will be a perfect time

to play that recording,

the actual recording from the cockpit

that air traffic control captured.

I got the recording right here in my phone.

I'm gonna go ahead and play this.

This is the first time

this has ever been released to the public.

It's the recording of 401's last moments.

It's the recording of 401's last moments.

Getting a hit right now.

Mr. Repo, does that recording sound familiar?

Did you say mine?

Is that your voice? Is that your recording?

Your flight?

Yeah.

Here. Don?

Don, was that the last moments?

Communicate with me.

Tell me what happened moments after that recording.

[device beeps]

Getting a huge hit right now.

Getting a huge hit right now.

On the Mel meter.

K2 spike, there's some kind of EMF frequency.

Black, he said black.

Box, literally just said black box.

I heard it, right at the very end.

Guaranteed that trigger object,

that recording, is what it's referring to.

The audio, the last moments of the crash.

Cindy and I want to help you.

Can you convey to me what is keeping you here?

Can you convey to me what is keeping you here?

There is an energy.

What kind of energy?

[alarm going off]

Right there, it's clear.

Right there, it's clear.

It's totally clear.

[Steve] Vortex spirit.

You know what I'm feeling, Steve?

When you were at Coral Castle,

and you walked into that wall of energy

and you became dizzy,

[Steve] I couldn't even stand on that spot.

-I had to keep getting... -That's what I'm saying.

-[Steve] ...further and further away. -[Cindy] Right.

That's a story that happens to a lot of people.

[Loft] Is there a problem?

It's possible that that same energy

can cause people to lose focus

can cause people to lose focus

and not be able to concentrate.

[Loft] We're too close to the ground.

[Cindy] It's not like the vortex

is causing the plane to crash.

-What's happening? -[automated voice] Caution, caution.

But it can create confusion.

Do you see what I mean?

100 percent, yes.

That could be the mystery.

All those experienced pilots, all those people,

air traffic control.

-How could this have happened? -RIght.

[Steve] It's clear that we're picking up

on this vortex energy.

This Bermuda Triangle energy is present

and it affected the pilots of multiple planes.

I believe that's why they all crashed around here.

I believe that's why they all crashed around here.

Somehow, this energy affected them.

If you don't understand that force,

and you're not used to it, it can be very disorienting.

Right behind you, again, there's that piece of glass.

The window from Flight 401.

I wanna see if we could use psychometry

to really tap into it

and just see what information you could get out of that.

Yeah. And so, what I'm gonna do,

I'll just hold it and I'll allow whatever impressions

or feelings that come in, to come in

and I'll just tell you what I'm getting.

and I'll just tell you what I'm getting.

-Okay. -As I'm getting it.

[switches on and off]

The light's not coming on.

Repo, go down to that hellhole and bring a flashlight.

I'll get visual confirmation and radio up.

I feel that Don has no agenda

other than to protect people from dying.

I feel that Don's not gonna wanna leave

until all the souls are free, that's what I believe.

They're still his passengers, you know.

He doesn't want to leave but the woman...

He doesn't want to leave but the woman...

[woman] Wait, my baby.

[Cindy] I can sense her screams and her cries.

Please, watch my babies.

[Cindy] I can feel her.

She feels stuck here, I have to be honest,

like, she doesn't wanna be here

but she does not know how to leave.

[woman crying]

Oh, Steve, I'm telling you,

the energy in here is building.

When you get to the center of this force,

it's almost like a black hole.

And it's at such a force that they cannot...

get out.

It's that strong of a force, it's that strong of an energy.

It's that strong of a force, it's that strong of an energy.

It's part of this vortex.

It's part of it.

To me, it does really sound like the Bermuda Triangle.

-I mean, when you're talking about... -Right.

...that magnetic pull,

and on the old maps, it did show

that one of the corners did hit Miami.

I know that it sounds wild, but I mean,

when you look at it that way,

and you think about three different plane crashes

within one mile,

I mean, we're just on the outskirts

of the epicenter of that,

but we're still in that gravitational pull.

But I also feel that there's something else about

But I also feel that there's something else about

the way that these planes come down.

Interesting.

Coral Castle somehow feeds this place energy,

it's almost like the beginning or the source.

Hold on a second.

[devices beeping]

[Steve] My instruments are definitely backing that up.

Don, are we getting close to the answer?

Is this what you're trying to tell us?

Help. Over and over again.

So sad.

Mel meter's going.

Massive reading right there and that's a huge hit.

The motion sensor's going off.

Now more voices are coming.

-You can hear multiple spirits. -I know, it's building.

It's building.

[woman cries]

[Steve] You have already communicated to us

that the energy caused the confusion

like Cindy said, that affected you

and potentially could have brought down Flight 401.

and potentially could have brought down Flight 401.

But we know that there were two other

plane crashes out here.

Did it affect them the same way?

Can you please answer that for us?

Were they connected? Did it cause confusion

to the other pilots?

Is it all linked to the Bermuda Triangle?

-Connected, it's connected. -I heard it.

I mean, how much more confirmation

could you ask for?

It's connected.

I can't believe that it just directly spoke.

You know, I almost think that's why

all these spirits are connected

because they all died virtually from the same cause.

The Bermuda Triangle's magnetic pull.

Or because they're all stuck here

because they can't get out of the energy

'cause of the confusion, right?

Right, one and the same.

But I gotta be honest, Steve,

this isn't something we can fix,

this is just what it is.

All we can do is try to help the spirits that are here

that need to go or that want to go,

that need to go or that want to go,

we need to find a way to help them because

we can't change a vortex.

Again, tonight and every night, help.

Help, cries for help.

We've gotta be able to do something

to help these spirits.

-Yeah. -And I think

we bring in Elizabeth.

She's been working on this case for 50 years.

-It's literally a part of her. -Mmm-hmm.

Let's help her finish this

and bring some peace to these spirits.

-Sounds like a great idea. -Alright,

-great work tonight. Okay. -You too.

[Steve] So, Elizabeth, we wanted to being you here

because this case has become a part of you.

Now, Cindy and I have been investigating

and we truly believe that yes, it is the energy.

In that, these different plane crashes

and tragedies truly are connected

by the energy that runs through this area.

That's something that's obviously out of our control.

We can't change the direction of this energy

or cease that.

But we wanna bring some closure and some peace

-to the victims of Flight 401. -Sure.

-to the victims of Flight 401. -Sure.

How do you think we could go about doing that?

[Elizabeth] I believe we should have a soul rescue

for all the souls

who are not at peace or not at rest.

And we could do that right now.

Soul rescue is very poetic,

especially standing on the levy

where the rescue took place.

-Okay. -Lead the way.

So, why don't we begin by holding hands.

Okay, close your eyes, take a deep breath.

Okay, close your eyes, take a deep breath.

And we're going to ask all of those not at peace,

here in the Everglades,

to join with us

in this communication

and this soul journey into the light.

Feel the connection with all of those

who lost their lives here that tragic night.

[Cindy] I know that there are a lot of souls here

that are still confused and feel stuck

that are still confused and feel stuck

and trapped by this location.

But you don't have to stay here.

If you choose to go, you can be free,

you can find peace

and you can connect with your loved ones on the other side.

[Elizabeth] Steve.

I would like to say to Mr. Repo,

Don Repo,

I know you're gonna be here as long as you need to be,

shepherding the passengers

and the lost souls here in the Everglades.

and the lost souls here in the Everglades.

But I just wanna let you know,

Flight 401 is officially over

and you can rest in peace, Don.

[Elizabeth] Don, you were with us from the beginning.

And now, you're with us at the end.

Join us as we go traveling

right to the light.

[Steve] It's so interesting to me, Cindy,

'cause a lot of times, people will call us out on a case,

just wanting an ABC answer, you know,

Why is it haunted? Who's haunting it?

-And can you make it stop? -[Cindy] Right.

With a case like this, that's impossible.

This is one of the most complex

and in-depth cases I have ever been a part of.

We definitely put a lot of theories to test.

Planes have been going down in the Everglades

-for years. -Mmm-hmm.

Multiple plane crashes, massive casualties,

Multiple plane crashes, massive casualties,

flights disappearing all within that perimeter.

It's almost as if this was

something like the energy force

with the Bermuda Triangle

because I definitely believe there's some sort of vortex

or energy fields in the Everglades.

To me, there's no doubt,

these areas are connected, anywhere this energy is,

maybe they're trapped there.

Other locations that just seem to all tie into

-this energy source. -Right.

Or any items, of course, related to the crash,

because it holds that energy.

because it holds that energy.

The energy is a huge mix of intelligent

and a lot of residual.

They're coming right to the GeoPort,

I mean, literally, they're coming toward the device.

I believe that's exactly what I'm experiencing here.

But I definitely feel that when we were out there,

with that final night and brought Elizabeth,

I could feel something change,

if nothing else, I think Mr. Repo

knows that we acknowledged him,

that others have acknowledged him

and that it wasn't his fault.

[Cindy] You know, spirits that are

stuck in a location for whatever reason,

stuck in a location for whatever reason,

a lot of times, they really just want

their stories to be told, they want to be heard.

And you know, I really think

that he just wants people to know

that he's still doing his job on the other side.

I definitely agree.

Well, one thing's for sure.

The Everglades is an extremely dangerous place

but a very mysterious and mystical place.

-Yeah. -The activity there,

it's never gonna stop.

I agree with you.

Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do.

I have a surprise.

Something that I would like to present to the family members

and the people that really helped us out with this case.

and the people that really helped us out with this case.

-Mmm-hmm. -I think it'll help

bring some closure, some peace,

and something very special

for not only the living

but for the ghosts of Flight 401.

Awesome.

[Steve] Thank you guys so much for meeting us here today.

Cindy and I really can't express

our gratitude for your help,

your information, sharing your stories,

and letting us be a part of his journey

of what is Flight 401.

of what is Flight 401.

Cindy and I have something here really special

for you guys, that we'd like to unveil,

and I'm gonna go ahead and do that now.

[Ron] Oh, wow.

[Mercy] That's beautiful.

[Steve] "Dedicated to the brave souls

who united on December 29th, 1972,

Eastern Air Lines Flight 401,

we will always remember you."

Thank you very much, wow.

Thank you very much, wow.

It's the least we could do, I mean,

Cindy and I have been saying the entire time,

this will be a part of us now, forever.

[Cindy] We really experienced

all of their spirits out there in the Everglades

and thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

So, this is a part of us now, too.

[Ron] There's always other people

either same or worse off than you.

Whether it's an illness,

an accident, whatever.

There's always somebody else out there

who are going through their own plane crashes.
