[Love Unexpected]

[Episode 5]

I don’t care what reason you have.

She has to come with me today.

Let's go.

Come out.

So weird.

Lawyer Zhou, has your boss fallen for our Ke Si Yi?

I don't know if he's fallen in love,

but I think I've fallen in love.

Ke Si Yi?

Lin Wen, I'm hungry.

After being hit by you, I have been losing my appetite,

can't sleep at night, and feel lovesick.

How about this? Treat me to a meal as a way to make up for it.

Treat me to a meal, Lin Wen.

Treat me to a meal, Lin Wen.

They're all so romantic.

Obviously, I'm the one who wants to date.

What are you doing?

Don't come near me.

If you come closer, I'll hit you.

Today, you can’t go anywhere.

Just sleep here.

What?

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by The Unexpected Lovers @ Viki

Chairman Xu, I know that

it’s very difficult for the ordinary man to stay away from a beauty like me.

But I'm here to work,

not to accompany you.

You can like me.

But when you’re like this, it’s too quick.

You have to give me some time.

Just sleep here,

on the floor.

Thanks.

It's something I should do.

After this meal, we're even?

Of course. No. Next time, I'll pay.

Give and take is good for nurturing a relationship.

Are you always this shameless when you chase girls?

No.

This is the first time I'm so shameless.

Who would believe that?

Show me! Do I look good?

Add me on WeChat, you'll know when I send it to you.

Handsome guy, add me, and I'll help you send it to her.

Pretty girl, give me her WeChat.

Pretty girl?

Wei Wei!

Handsome guy, here.

Done.

It's burning! Hurry and eat.

It's good!

Don't eat so much!

- Coach told you to watch your weight. - You don't need to.

Lawyer Zhou, are the tastes of you and your boss both this weird?

You both like the violent type.

This fat miss, if you are this nosy, can you tell me if she's easy to chase?

Don't even think about it.

I'm not easy.

That's okay. If it's not easy, I can take my time.

Do you know why we're eating bbq?

- There's a lot of meat. - I didn't ask you.

Because bbq takes a long time and I'm not worried you won't fall for me.

Are all lawyers this shameless?

Are all MMA fighters as charming as you?

Hello, Dad.

I'm working overtime.

You go to bed first.

Bye.

Hello? Hello!

Stop right there.

Why do you have to make me sleep here?

What are you doing?

If I let you go, who knows if you'll go back to sleep or practice fighting.

You're not allowed to go anywhere. You have to sleep here.

Go to sleep.

What are you doing? Who let you come up?

I don't know! Didn't you tell me to come here?

I let you sleep at my house, not sleep with me!

Who wants to sleep with you? You're the shameless one who didn't let me go!

Get down there.

Untie this!

Get down there!

Why are you crying?

Look. You do like me, and you won't admit it.

Chairman Xu.

Tell me... Are you frustrated now,

or...

or are you mad?

Or are you shy? Your face has no expressions,

I can't tell at all.

I don't know how to interact with you.

Can you hurry up?

You're so unlucky, even more unlucky than me.

I thought I was unlucky enough.

Since I've become your bodyguard, you either feel pain or get hurt every day.

Am I your curse?

Good that you know.

Just now did not count. Obviously, you volunteered and I didn't hurt you by accident.

Don't worry. I won't tell anyone that you like me.

Let me remind you, Ke Si Yi.

Even if you are the only so-called woman left in the world,

I won't like you.

I understand. All overbearing bosses don't speak their minds.

Woman, I shall let you see.

I'm leaving now, Chairman Xu.

Stop there.

No matter what I tell you next,

you must stay calm.

Chairman Xu, it isn't romantic right now.

Whatever, go ahead and say it.

Ke Si Yi, I suspect that your pain transfers onto me.

What trick is that?

The reason I went to see you yesterday,

is because you were hit, but I was the one in pain. Just now I protected you,

not because I like you,

it is because if you get hurt, I'll be the one to be in pain.

All I do is not for you, but for myself.

Please don't overthink it.

You didn't hit your head.

I'm telling the truth.

Don't get too close to me. I will feel shy.

Ke Si Yi!

Xu Nuo, wake up to eat breakfast.

Ke Si Yi? Not bad. You wake up so early even after sleeping so late yesterday.

You're lucky. I bought extra breakfast. Do you want some?

Want a bite? Why are you ignoring me?

I'm leaving.

Wait a sec.

Your hair is a mess, so you did not wash up.

Your eyes are swollen, so you just woke up.

Cheeks are red, which means you are guilty.

Ke Si Yi, you did not go home last night.

- That's not true. - You didn't go home!

Didn't you go home last night? You don't admit it was last night.

Where are you heading?

I'm going home.

Without my permission, you cannot go anywhere.

Boss, you already tortured me all night, what do you want?

Tortured one whole night?

Xu Nuo?

You two?

Lawyer Zhou, call her family

and move all her stuff here.

- What? - What?

Boss, a lawyer is also a person, not a nanny.

I don't know her family.

Are friends considered family?

Boss, I shall go immediately.

[Creative Western Kitchen]

Hello?

Hi, Lin Wen. Good morning.

Hurry and say what you need to say. I'm rushing to work.

Oh, that Ke Si Yi, how close are you with her?

What does it matter to you?

- Starting today for 24/7, without my permission... - I'm telling you.

- Yesterday, Ke Si Yi came over to get something, but stayed overnight, - It isn't in the contract!

she might become the boss lady.

- What? - Lawyer Zhou!

I'm hanging up.

What's up?

Draft a new contract.

Make it a 24/7 personal bodyguard.

24/7? What does that mean?

She lives here.

I disagree.

Supplementary clause, I'll double your salary.

No.

- Three times. - Impossible.

You either live here or quit.

Xu Nuo, don't make me beat you up.

I'm here to be a bodyguard, not to sell my body.

Bodyguards have their dignity. Be respectful.

If you really want to fight me,

I suggest you try to hit yourself and prove what I was saying earlier.

You're sick. I quit.

Simply sleeping on the same bed.

Ke Si Yi, even if he got hurt himself, he chose to protect you.

That's not just liking you, that's love.

You won. You better go agree.

How can it be? That's living together.

I don't know what these men are thinking.

Taking a step back,

he has good feelings for you, so that is a good thing.

If he has good feelings for you, you can get closer to him.

This way, after staying together for a while, you can melt him with love.

For you, he can give up Mad Tiger.

You're too impulsive.

It's too late to regret it.

Impulsive?

But from what he said, any normal girl would leave.

Sister, you are there to be a spy, on a mission.

You are not there to care about your feelings.

That seems right.

So what to do now? What I said was like throwing a punch that can't be taken back.

Too impulsive.

When was this? What do you like about her?

Your hallucinated pain. Is it also part of your scheme?

You're so not a brother to me. What are we?

If you like her, let me know, so I can treat her better.

If she becomes the boss's wife, wouldn't that make my life harder?

Do you think I'm you?

Not even. I am more formidable than you.

At least I'm straightforward.

When chasing a girl, you need to adjust according to the person.

Do you know what Ke Si Yi's weakness is? Kindness.

It's very simple; one trick will get her.

Here. Call me, "Master," and I shall teach you.

Get her sympathy.

Show her you're scared of living alone

or being robbed in the dead of night.

That'll work better than threatening her.

Maybe she will come to protect you;

you can save your energy and money.

Xu Nuo, you are such a newb when it comes to women.

When did you ever see me give in?

All right.

Analyzing it with your logic, starting from the factors of feelings and safety.

First, your need for Ke Si Yi is greater than her need for you.

In other words, Ke Si Yi looks like your subordinate,

but she's actually your first party.

Shouldn't you take a step back and give her a taste of satisfaction? Solidify your first party first,

then turn passive into active.

That makes sense.

As I said, you can't compare with me in this aspect.

From today onward, Ke Si Yi will be your first party.

If she stops working, then you don't need to work anymore.

Why?

How about this? Find another bodyguard.

Boss, a good-looking, reliable, hard-working, and capable person,

who will accept your mocking smile, do you think that is easy to find?

Find a bodyguard for Ke Si Yi.

Finding a bodyguard to protect another bodyguard, right?

Yes. Since she doesn't want to move in,

I shall find another person to follow her 24/7.

To guarantee that she's not hurt at all.

How about this boss?

I can be your bodyguard, and Ke Si Yi can be your lawyer.

[June 29, 2020]

What do I do?

Not good.

You've seen it, too?

Ke Si Yi stopped at the plaza.

There are many people here. If she's a busybody, it won't be safe.

What about the bodyguard I told you to find?

Xu Nuo, enough. When will you stop thinking about Ke Si Yi?

The "Tiger Howl" public account is attacking you again. It issued two profound articles.

It even included the hospitalization photo of Li Da to arouse the public's opinions.

Currently, Mad Tiger, Hugo Media layoff, corporate social responsibility, world sports power:

all four hot searches are related to you.

The author forcibly elevated the issue of internal business restructuring,

to a large company ignoring social responsibility.

This has caused public outrage.

He exposed the real objective that fast. Seems like he is anxious.

Get in touch with IT and have them find out

who is behind this "Tiger Howl" account.

What about the MMA team?

This matter has blown up. Why don't we postpone it?

No more than three months.

Delay the start of construction for three months at most.

Although we are not currently doing any major construction,

it's not just us and Hugo Media that sense the business opportunity.

If it takes too long, it won't be good for us to seize the first-mover advantage. Put the news out first.

Tell them that we will only rebuild the club but keep the MMA team.

Once the team has found a suitable place, we will start the construction.

Fine. I'm heading to the Public Relations Department.

Hold on.

Look. Ke Si Yi has been at the plaza for a long time already.

Are you sure she's safe here? Will she get hurt?

Xu Nuo, have you gone mad?

Is this Ke Si Yi a fairy from heaven, or she has drugged you?

- Do you want to eat hers? - I don't want to eat.

Don't eat that. Have some meat, more meat.

- Cheers! - Here, cheers!

Here's to Mad Tiger. Cheers!

You're not allowed to drink more.

Don't cry and say you have headaches later.

And let me tell you, drinking a lot will affect your physical fitness.

But seeing you all like this,

I feel bad.

- Why do you feel bad? - That's right.

In the past, you were working many jobs every day, too.

Dancing, handing out flyers...

What haven't you done?

If you can do it, then why can't we?

Besides, I show you at the same time that

not only can I eat, but I can also make money, too.

But you two are different.

You two are MMA fighters.

You... You should show up at the training ground,

or at the MMA stage.

You...

Go on eating

So I feel bad.

Stop.

Even on the stage, at the plaza,

- wasn't my fighting move just now up to standard? - That's right.

I won't embarrass the Mad Tiger team.

As long as you let me do MMA, even if I dance

that pole dance, I'm willing to.

Me, too! But you must prepare a reinforced steel pole for me.

Ke Si Yi, Lin Wen and I have already thought about it.

It's not a big deal. We will just take the team to go out and work for money.

Till we have enough, we'll rent a small venue.

Besides, if Coach finds out

that for Mad Tiger to survive, you promised Xu Nuo to cohabitate in exchange,

he will definitely not be happy about it.

Ke Si Yi, I'm telling you!

No matter when, we support whatever decision you make, but

don't go to Xu Nuo.

Don't go.

[Xu Nuo]

This is good.

If you don't want to go, then don't.

That won't do. This is the last chance.

Hello, Honorable Chairman Xu, what commands do you have for me?

Ke Si Yi,

get back to the office at once.

Okay. I'll be right there.

I'm leaving.

Be careful.

Bye-bye.

See, this trick works for her.

You're the best.

People take advantage of those who are kind.

But is it right for us to do this?

What's wrong with this?

Ke Si Yi, single since birth.

It's not easy for her to meet someone who likes her.

Moreover, he's handsome, rich, and a sugar daddy who can save Mad Tiger.

There's only one like him.

Let's take it step-by-step.

Have some medicine.

When did you start feeling dizzy?

Is the new contract for the bodyguard ready?

Here... Here you go.

Call Ke SI Yi and find out where she is.

Big Brother, you just called. She's on her way.

What did Ke Si Yi do to you?

- Is she here? - She has arrived downstairs. She's downstairs.

You are like holding your last breath to see Ke Si Yi.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

[CEO's Office]

- I'm back - You're finally back.

What's wrong with Chairman Xu?

He misses you so much that it turns into a terminal illness. You must be responsible. I'm leaving.

Don't, Lawyer Zhou!

I feel that he's so angry and he'll kill me.

Lawyer Zhou, don't leave. I'm scared.

He has always been like this. Are you not used to it yet?

Why haven't you left yet?

I'm leaving.

Drinking by the lake during the day.

Don't you know that you will get a headache from drinking?

How do you know I was drinking?

How did you know I was by the lake?

Nevermind.

Eat this medicine.

My head doesn't hurt.

I told you to eat it.

You said it hurts, so it hurts.

Much better.

I'm warning you.

From now on, you can't drink anymore.

Who do you think you are, controlling everything?

Okay, Boss.

Why did your attitude suddenly become so good?

It's like this, Boss. I thought about it.

Being your 24/7 bodyguard is not impossible.

After all, you are a good person.

Tell me directly what conditions you want.

Please do not rebuild Mad Tiger MMA Sports Club.

Also, can I have my own room?

I don't want to sleep on the floor. Only these two conditions.

This morning, you said I was humiliating you.

Now, you suddenly decide

to sacrifice your body for Mad Tiger.

I...

I was once a member of the Mad Tiger club.

Later, I gave up on MMA.

Each and everyone in Mad Tiger,

they are still continuing my dream that I did not persist.

So, I don't want them to regret because of giving up.

Can I not?

You can, but I can't.

Okay, Chairman Xu. Bye.

Like a kind and strong woman like her,

one trick will get her. Get her sympathy.

What happened?

What happened?

It's fine.

Just suddenly hurt a bit.

I agree with your conditions.

Why?

Are you scheming something or do you want something?

I just want you to be within my line of sight every second,

to ensure your own safety.

You say it too directly.

This is the new bodyguard contract.

I'll give you three minutes.

Everything on the previous contract is void.

Three minutes? How can I finish reading?

[Bodyguard Contract]

Lawyer Zhou.

Let me help you summarize it.

Chairman Xu doubled your pay from the original contract.

I thought it would really be three times.

After moving into my home, you can save on transportation and living expenses.

It improved your living conditions.

This is well worth over three times your pay, isn't it?

Wait a second.

Why isn't the clause of not rebuilding Mad Tiger MMA Sports Club in there?

If you don't write it down, I won't sign it.

This clause hasn't been written in yet, but it can be added as a supplementary clause in the back for you to sign later.

Right, you have to sign a confidentiality agreement.

You have to compensate for any losses if you leak any business secrets about Hugo Media or Chairman Xu.

What is considered as breaking the rules?

It depends on the situation. Following prosecution, the court will give the judgment.

Court?

That's too much.

What?

Do you really plan on selling my info to earn money?

You joking? I was just trying to understand.

Okay. If there's no problem, both of you can sign it.

First party, Xu Nuo, and second party, Ke Si Yi.

The second party works according to the first party's work hours.

The second party's activity area goes according to the first party. Without the first party's approval,

the second party's activity must be within the first party's line of sight.

Do I have to tell you if I go to the bathroom?

Also, years of service are based on the first party's needs.

If you continuously need me, do I have to be beside you?

Isn't this a slave contract?

This...

Three minutes is up.

If you don't sign it, everything I said earlier is voided.

I will sign it.

Wait a second, one more condition.

Other than work time,

we must respect each other's life.

Under the condition of our own health and safety,

we shall respect each other's life.

[Ke Si Yi]

After the MMA Goddess, Li Yun Zhu, recently joined the Black Dragon Team,

her future is looking really good.

Today, Li Yun Zhu attended a sports brands endorsement signing conference.

Li Yun Zhu is an athlete, not a celebrity.

Don't worry about her. She isn't part of Mad Tiger anymore.

Dad.

Recently, I have to work overtime.

So, I might have to come home very late.

- You are late enough already. - Right.

You have to ride three different buses to go back and forth to work.

Tiring and a waste of time on commuting.

Right?

It's fine now, but you will freeze in the winter.

That's right.

If only our house were closer to the office,

just a little, that would be great.

Right.

Si Yi, how about...?

How about selling the old house your grandpa left us?

Rent a place near your office.

- No need, Dad. - No need.

The office has dorms.

But I can't bear leaving you all.

So, I never went to live there.

The company has dorms? Is it free?

Yes. And it provides three meals a day, too.

That's great!

That's great! Can I go, too?

Coach, if she can save on three meals a day,

we can eat more.

That's right.

Si Yi, how about this? You go live at the company dorms.

Okay, Dad. I shall listen to you. I will go pack up now.

- Let me accompany you. - Me too.

Let's go.

Ke Si Yi. I prepared you

an important secret weapon.

Sexy pajamas,

male-killing fragrance, and the most important, moisturizer.

They are very useful during crucial times.

Don't listen to her.

This is the real weapon.

Let me tell you! Even though you live together,

don't proceed too fast.

If Xu Nuo does anything bad to you,

use all of this.

So scary.

It's better to guard against men.

I still feel like...

it's so unreal.

It does feel a little unreal.

But you must use what I gave you. They are very good.

No, you can't use them. Don't bring them.

You must bring them, why not? They are very useful.
