[Episode 11]

I got off of work early, can you come to the practice?

I need to think of a way to get time off from Chairman Xu.

What should I do? What should I do?

Chairman Xu, sorry...

Ke Si Yi!

Does it really hurt?

Think of a way to alleviate this pain immediately.

Okay, I'll go home immediately. My dad knows how to make those kinds of painkillers. The kind that I told you about—

I'll have a driver take you.

No need. I can get a taxi.

And to lessen the chances of getting pain from walking,

I'll be at my own home tonight.

So I won't be coming back.

Okay. Stay safe.

- Hurry and leave. - Take care, Chairman Xu.

Lin Wen, let's agree on not hitting for real.

What do you mean?

We are just going to practice and react to the moves on the floor.

Don't hit or kick me for real.

Why?

You don't hold back, it hurts.

Weren't you not afraid of pain last time? Why are you afraid of it now?

I can't really say it clearly.

I still have to work tomorrow.

If Xu Nuo finds out that I secretly practiced fighting, what should I do if he fires me?

Okay. I'll try.

Ke Si Yi, did you not take the pain killer? Why does my stomach still hurt so much?

Find an opportunity to hang out with Li Yun Zhu or Ke Si Yi alone.

Think about ways to be in contact with her physically.

Chairman Xu?

Can I hug you?

[Currently: 103 beats/minute; 89 beats/minute (1 minute ago) Resting: 70 beats/minute (Today)]

What's wrong with him?

Chairman Xu, I didn't see what just happened.

Don't misunderstand.

What is there to misunderstand?

Hello, Chairman Xu.

When I hugged Li Yun Zhu just now,

did you feel anything different from me?

How can a rock like you feel anything?

I'm not joking.

Like that feeling...

when the heart races.

Heart racing is not a feeling! How can you not know if your heart races or not?

Ke Si Yi, why are you mad?

You are the boss! How can I be mad at you?

What did he say?

He can't feel the emotions?

I can see that you can feel love.

Ke Si Yi, what's wrong?

Nothing. I just met a jerk.

Jerk?

Who?

A person who doesn't deserve a name.

A jerk that hugs in public in broad daylight. Ridiculous.

Ke Si Yi,

don't tell me you are dating.

Whoever dates him will face misfortune.

The style of fighting isn't restricted to the competitors.

Everyone can sign up for the competition.

The competition rules are the same as those of the UFC,

which includes and not limited to Wushu, Boxing,

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Thai boxing, etc.

Age under 25. Gender limited to females only.

The first selection process mainly tests for the participant's strength,

speed, coordination, and skills, etc.; the basic qualities.

We designed a timed obstacle competition.

The place of the competition will have 23 stations.

Among those, six of them are the most valuable.

Every participant will have two cameras on them.

To raise the awareness of our MMA Goddess in this program,

our program spokesperson and special guest, Li Yun Zhu,

will get a revival ticket.

She can use it to bring a participant back during the revival stage.

The participant that gets revived will challenge the winner from the competition.

The final winner will have the chance to challenge Li Yun Zhu.

The content is okay, but the broadcasting style is too one-dimensional.

There is no way to evaluate the data and predict the market response.

The initial investment is too high, we can't lower the risk.

Director Wang, do we have any other broadcasting proposal?

- Meeting adjourned. - Chairman Xu,

if you're worried about risk,

you can contact the live broadcast platform for the first stage broadcast.

- If the effect isn't what you've expected, the program will stop and I'll leave. - Good.

Then let's go with what you said.

Boss.

Liang Zhi Xiao, he's using his life as a pledge this time.

It seems like he's risking everything.

Where is she?

Who?

Who?

Three...

No. If you're concerned about her, you need to take initiative and send her messages or call her

to show that you're concerned.

I think you should be concerned about yourself

as to whether or not you'll still be employed by me next month.

Don't be so serious.

She's currently enjoying the company's special holiday that is for girls who are on their period.

She could come to work or not.

- Did I agree? - You authorized it.

Therefore, she is currently enjoying her own holiday break legally, legitimately, and reasonably.

Strange.

It doesn't hurt anymore.

Forget it.

Lisa, help me pour a cup of hot water.

Yes, Chairman Xu.

Come in.

Chairman Xu, here is your hot water. Is there anything else, Chairman Xu?

- No. You can leave. - Okay.

[Jerk Xu]

I had this proposal a long time ago.

I didn't ask you here for something boring like this.

I just want to know why Xu Nuo is doing this.

This is the program Hugo Media proposed.

Chairman Xu approved and that's it, where are the why's coming from?

Xu Nuo is a man that only thinks about profits.

Why would he agree to such a high-risk fighting variety show in terms of profits?

Does he have any new strategic plan?

- You really don't know? - New strategy? Plan?

This is too hard for me, I don't know.

[Jerk Xu]

Ke Si Yi, right now we're on the same boat.

If you really don't want to stay on the boat, I'll kick you off it.

When the time comes, don't be naive and think that Xu Nuo will save you.

I originally thought that by living in his house, I could get closer to him.

I didn't expect that he would be monitoring me.

Every day I'm living in fear,

not to mention spying on plans.

Then, what is going on here?

Jerk! Isn't that obvious?

He pretends to be a gentleman who doesn't take advantage of women,

but he's so interested in this Li Yun Zhu,

and even helped her fulfill her wish! He...

He was taking advantage of her, even hugged her!

He's such a... pervert!

So, Li Yun Zhu is his girl?

How is that possible?!

What's with the big reaction?

Do you like him?

How could I like him?!

I just... just can't stand him.

Just can't stand this kind of pervert.

I realized...

if you think of your opponent as the person you hate,

then you can win even if you fight casually.

- Li Yun Zhu? - Li Yun Zhu?

It's Xu Nuo.

Xu Nuo? What did he do to you?

He hugged Li Yun Zhu in broad daylight,

and even told me not to misunderstand.

If you don't want me to misunderstand, then don't hug her! Biggest Jerk in the universe!

How did he hug her?

What does Xu Nuo hugging Li Yu Zhu have anything to do with you?

That's right.

I...

I don't feel good!

Ke Si Yi, just to be clear.

We let you go there to use Xu Nuo, not for Xu Nuo to use you!

What are you talking about? How could I have fallen for him?

Don't forget. You are the business spy that Wu Dong De's placed by Xu Nuo's side.

It's impossible between the two of you.

That's right.

I'm the one who's obviously using him and betraying him.

I am worse than him. How can I blame him?

But Wei Wei, Lin Wen...

If Xu Nuo knew that I was lying to him,

he would definitely hate me for life.

He's just an extremely unforgiving man.

Ke Si Yi.

Ke Si Yi.

You've already fallen in love with him.

I haven't! What are you talking about? Eat your snack!

[Jerk Xu]

[Jerk Xu]

It's Xu Nuo.

Hello?

Hello?

I'll give you three minutes. Get back here as soon as possible.

What happened? What's the rush?

I'm about to die.

Don't die! Don't die! I'll be there soon. Bye-bye.

He's about to die. I'm going back to save him.

What's it? Why are you startled?

She said she doesn't care,

but her actions are very clear.

Chairman Xu, what's wrong?

What are you doing?

Didn't you say you were dying?

So I was checking what was wrong.

Do you not know what's wrong with me?

I... I just exercised for a bit. It's not like it's going to kill you.

Exercise? What kind of exercise?

No wonder I'm so tired today.

Did you receive my permission to exercise?

I'm your bodyguard. If I don't exercise, how am I supposed to protect you?

If you're okay, then I'm leaving.

You look fine.

Are you tricking me?

I'm hungry.

If you're hungry, then go eat. Why did you look for me?

I don't have a pot with me.

Do I look like I know how to cook?

No.

Let's eat out.

What are we eating?

You decide.

Yun Zhu, are you going back to your apartment or to practice? I'll send you.

Brother Zhi Xiao, does this mean we're done with Chairman Xu?

It's all thanks to you.

Didn't you say that once we were done with Chairman Xu,

you would grant one of my wishes?

Tell me! Do you want good food or a present?

Then what would you like?

Take me around for a day to experience college life.

What?

The social media of Ke Si Yi's school said there is the Club Culture Festival today.

Let's go. If we get there late, it'll be over.

Let's go.

The bus is here!

Hurry and sit down here.

Useless.

You deserve it.

Come here and sit.

Ke Si Yi.

You sit.

What's wrong with you? What's so funny?

When someone took your seat, you called me useless.

When I got you a seat, you won't sit on it.

Why didn't I just get my driver? Why did we ride the bus?

Are you mad? Why are you mad?

I'm not mad.

- You are mad. - How would I not know if I'm mad?

You don't.

I'll treat you to hotpot.

Okay.

What? Do you regret it?

No.

That's good to hear.

If you smile, it will all go away.

Once you smile, you won't be mad anymore.

- It's this place. - It's pretty good.

When I was in school, this was my favorite place to eat.

It's pretty good.

Si Yi. Chairman Xu.

Why are you guys here?

- Hello, all your food is here. - Thank you.

Please enjoy.

Why aren't you guys talking?

Let's eat. Let's eat. The food will get cold.

Eat. Once it's cold, it won't taste as good.

Here, Si Yi.

Thank you, Brother Zhi Xiao.

I'll get some for Chairman Xu.

Eat as much as you want, Chairman Xu.

This hotpot restaurant is the best in the university area.

Even the students from the neighboring school will skip school for this.

Si Yi, how much longer are you going to say this?

You make it sound like you are a shareholder of this place.

I was wondering why Brother Zhi Xiao had to eat here.

You like this.

That's not true.

Producer Liang really treasures his past relationship.

You bring your current girlfriend to where you used to have dates with your ex.

I never thought Chairman Xu would lower your status

to take your staff here to eat a cheap hotpot meal.

Wait a second.

What did you mean by current girlfriend and ex-girlfriend?

It's humor. He's very good at making bad jokes.

Chairman Xu, don't you say you like shrimp? Let me peel some for you.

Here, Si Yi.

Don't peel anymore. Just eat. The food won't taste good cold. This is your favorite, beef.

Thank you, Brother Zhi Xiao.

I advise you.

Take care of the person next to you.

Thank you, Chairman Xu.

Hello, our club has some leftover roses from the event to sell for cheap.

Would you like to buy one?

- How much? - ¥30.

No.

Why not?

This flower is only worth a few yuan in the store.

Not only she's using the club event to jack up the prices,

and look at that rose,

it's about to wilt. What's the value of buying it?

Si Yi, do you want it?

- Give it to me, I'll buy it. - I want one, too.

Do you have any more?

We're selling it separately, it's our last one.

Yun Zhu, why don't I buy you a flower from the flower shop later?

I like this one. I want it.

- It's fine. I don't— - Give it to me.

I want it, keep the change.

Okay. Thank you.

For you.

Me?

Thank you, Chairman Xu.

You guys can eat. I don't want to eat anymore.

You guys eat.

- Where are you going, Ke Si Yi? - Home.

As my bodyguard, you decide to not protect me but go home, this is a neglect of duty.

I was the one that wanted the rose first. I could've bought it myself.

Why would you buy it and give it to her?

When it comes to me, it's not worth it. When it's her, you didn't even want the change.

There's no need

for you to get mad because of a rose.

Boss.

Pack all the roses.

The thing I want is not roses.

Wasn't that a rose?

I already said I don't want roses.

Sir, do you still want the roses?

Boss, are these roses?

That's right. They are roses.

That's right.

So weird.

I want to drink water.

Hot water.

65-degree water for coffee.

Ke Si Yi, just tell me what pissed you off.

How can I be pissed?

Why have you been getting mad at me recently? You throw your temper at me every other day.

I only took you out to eat because you were mad. But look at this, you're mad again.

Who's the boss here? Why do I need to take care of your feelings?

So what if I am not the boss? Can't I be unhappy?

- Hold it in. - I can't hold it in.

Women are troublesome.

What are you doing? Eat.

I don't have an appetite.

Zhou Yan Xin, I've had enough. I'm really done with her.

In these two days, she's just ignoring me. Whenever she can, she'll just ignore me.

Who's the boss here? Why do I have to take care of her feelings?

Do you know what you did wrong?

Isn't it just a rose?

Think about it again.

According to your narration and my personal experience,

to summarize Ke Si Yi's recent behaviors,

she must be having too much serotonin, dopamine, and adrenaline. When the body—

Stop.

Speak human words.

In human words, she's jealous.

- Who is she jealous of? - Li Yun Zhu.

- Why is she jealous of Li Yun Zhu? - She likes you.

What you said is reasonable.

I'm a perfect man. It's hard not to fall for me.

Can you be any more shameless?

It's her fault for being jealous of Li Yun Zhu.

Li Yun Zhu is my savior. No one can stop me from treating her well.

- But do you like her? - No.

Even if I don't know what love is, I still have taste.

Let's just hope that your taste

won't hit rock bottom

because of Ke Si Yi.

The program selection process is based on the MMA requirements, such as speed,

strength, coordination and skills etc., basic qualities to design a test route.

The contestants are required to finish all the events as required.

The fastest eight contestants clearing all the stages will be qualified for the final round.

It looks pretty good on you.

What is the spirit of Mad Tiger?

Fearless, never give up,

no retreat, surpass ourselves!

- Good luck. - Good luck.

I'm telling you. In the first half,

don't use all your strength.

- Just follow who is leading. - Okay.

When it's the latter half,

- you can speed up, remember? - Okay.

We can see that our masked heroine is very fast.

She has already completed the first obstacle.

The judges are also in intense discussion.

This set of obstacles tests the contestants'

physical fitness and endurance rigorously.

The progress of the masked heroine is very good.

She has already got a lot of comments from our netizens.

She has become the highly discussed dark horse in this competition.

The masked heroine has passed the last obstacle!

Countdown starts!

Zhou Yan Xin, are the flowers in the trunk ready?

They are ready. Xu Nuo,

once Ke Si Yi gets here, she must—

- What's wrong? Are you okay? - I'm okay.

Where is Ke Si Yi?

Don't worry about her. Do you need to go to the hospital?

No need.

Go figure out where Ke Si Yi is.

Hong Qiao Town.

Hong Qiao Town? That's far.

Why is she there?

Our program is at Hong Qiao Town.

Lin Wen is competing today, maybe she is there to cheer for Mad Tiger.

The place where the program is being recorded is so dangerous.

Why would you let her go?

I didn't know she was going. I'm not her nanny.

What's the point of having you?

We're here.

What's wrong?

Nothing. First, find Ke Si Yi.

You're already like this, why do you want to see Ke Si Yi? Go to the hospital.

No. We need to find Ke Si Yi first.

I'm in so much pain.

Are you okay?

- Easy. - Are you okay?

Let me take you to the infirmary.

Producer Liang.

Producer Liang.

Chairman Xu and Lawyer Zhou, what brings you here?

Where is Ke Si Yi?

I didn't see her.

I have an injured athlete that I need to take to the infirmary. We'll leave then.

Masked heroine.

I've seen your broadcast, you are amazing.

Good luck!

Hey.

My lawyer is talking to you, are you a mute?

Where are your manners?

Lawyer Zhou.

Chairman Xu, are you guys here to see me?

I'm here to find Ke Si Yi. Where is she?

I think she's at the resting area up there.

Why don't you go look for her?

Let's go.

I'm different. I'm here to cheer for my goddess.

Goddess, did you get hurt?

Do I look like I got hurt?

What are you looking at?

[Fight! Young ladies]

Are you okay?

I'm fine, Brother Zhi Xiao. What do I do about my score?

Will I be eliminated in the first round?

Don't worry. The judges have already spoken to me.

We'll use your time at the last obstacle.

You've passed.

I also heard that the audience likes you.

Then I can be at ease.

There will be a doctor coming later to tend to you.

I'll check up on the other participants. Rest first.

Go back to work, don't mind me.

Si Yi!

Lin Wen.

How did you fall? You scared me. Are you okay?

I'm fine. But Xu Nuo being here scares me to death.

What should I do? I can't let him know that I'm in this contest.

He and Zhou Yan Xin have separated to find you.

- I'll go look for them. - Hurry.
