The Truth of Immortality

Episode 1

Dad!

Why am I here?

Where are the others?

Are you all right?

Two murder cases already happened on the island.

Brace up quickly.

The others are waiting for us on the beach.

Like I said,

that person won't let anyone leave

unless the murderer in the script is found.

The water nearby calms

every other month,

unless there's a boat that comes to pick you up.

What's more,

considering the rising speed of the water,

it'll take five days the most

before this island is inundated.

Cut the crap.

Start the third script.

Two murder cases already happened,

who wants to play with that script?

Only two people died.

The one who wants to quit

may swim to leave here.

Indeed.

If we don't carry on,

we'll all die here

in five days.

From now on,

nobody takes actions alone.

I don't believe

that the murderer dares to kill in front of us.

So this party is really related to dad's death.

This odd scene

began three days ago.

Three days ago

Floral House

This Floral House is mysterious.

People barely come here,

but it announced one month ago

that it invited seven listeners

to attend a mystic script party.

To find out the truth of my dad's death,

I should

attend this party.

It should be safe here.

I...

Where did she go?

Go check over there.

Help me

or die.

Thanks to Zhou Yu, the storyteller.

I wormed my way to the party.

Welcome to the Floral House

to attend the script party.

I'm Miaoniang, the owner here.

My daughter just finished some scripts.

I'm so lucky to have invited Zhou Yu,

the renowned storyteller of Chang'an,

and his wife

to hold this party.

There're six scripts,

each one has a story

while the scripts are

closely connected.

In the next days,

if you can

find the truth of the story

and catch the murderer,

the first one who catches the murderer

may have the Map of Immortality.

Hello.

I'm Zhao Liao.

I hope we could cooperate

to win it.

We're here for the reward.

Save your high-sounding words.

The Floral House could attract so many listeners

because of its unique magic.

The listeners

could join the story of the script.

Each script

needs a listener to be its protagonist.

The protagonist of the first script

is Shen Ning, a musician of the Music House.

Shen Ning Musician Charming and fragile

Here comes the first script.

In the Tang Dynasty,

folk's rumor had it

that the wealthy Shaos of Luoyang had a treasure map

which might lead one to immortality

and rare treasures.

But the people were greedy,

so the Shaos got killed

because of the map.

All of them perished in the flame.

The First Script Plagued by Weird Disease Protagonist: Shen Ning

Shao Liang, the eldest son of the Shaos

Ning (Shen Ning), the physician

Master of the Shaos

Shao Qiu (Xu Yuqiu), the eldest daughter of the Shaos

Shao Rong, the little son of the Shaos

Tao, don't be afraid.

Quan (Zhu Quan), manager of the Shaos' pharmacy

It's been a while since the ritual of

treating the eye disease was done.

Invite the physician here.

Physician.

My master awaits you.

Thank you, Ning.

What shall we do then?

The young master's eyes couldn't be cured

because of some nasty poison.

Keep the fire of the altar burning.

I'll do another ritual tomorrow,

then the poison will be eradicated.

That will be good.

Take Ning to rest.

Yes, Master.

This way, please.

Daddy.

Daddy.

Is brother getting well?

He agreed to take me to Chang'an

and we didn't go there yet.

Young Master.

Ning seems to be

a capable physician.

I'm sure your brother

can take you to Chang'an after a few days.

I won't talk to you.

You couldn't even cure my brother.

Nonsense.

Back to your room to study.

Don't think nobody disciplines you

because your brother is ill.

Leave.
