In Bakhmut they are disposing of the
Wagner Private Military Company ...

In the last 24 hours there are reports
that the professional component among the

Wagner Group mercenaries who storm Bakhmut
has changed significantly in the better,

qualitative side, since the time of Soledar. So
we can assume that they threw pros into the fight?

And this is indeed the case. Unlike
convicts who did not have even basic

combat skills and who attacked AFU positions
en masse, now AFU positions are attacked by

those who clearly have these skills. And
there is an explanation for this - the

resources of the Wagner Group are depleted
and they are being finished off in Bakhmut.

It should be noted that among the Wagner
Group, several groups should be distinguished.

The first group, the most professional,
consisting of mercenaries with combat experience.

But it is now located not in
Ukraine and not even in Russia,

but in other countries, which are covered
by the interests of the Russian leadership.

The largest group of Wagner is located in
the Central African Republic and Libya.

I want to note that the African Wagner group
has hardly changed since the beginning of the

war in Ukraine in 2022, only decreasing by
10% at the very beginning of the invasion.

This is due to two reasons. First, many
mercenaries simply did not want to go to

fight in Ukraine. It is much safer for them
in Africa than it is in Ukraine right now,

and Moscow cannot force them
to leave an important foothold.

Second, it is important for Russia to keep a
significant combat-ready contingent in Africa.

There are more than 2,000 Russian mercenaries in
the Central African Republic supporting the local

president. That is about three battalion-tactical
groups made up of really high-quality resources.

There is a similar grouping in Libya. Russians are
compactly deployed at two airbases in the country.

Representatives of Wagner Group also provide
air cover over these areas with MiG-29.

Also the Wagner's fighters are present in
Mozambique, Mali, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Angola,

Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar and Guinea, but
in the number of up to one battalion-squad.

There is also information about the
appearance of Wagner's fighters in Eritrea.

In total, there are up to 10,000
Russian mercenaries in Africa.

The second group of Wagners represents a
professional core that survived in Russia.

They were not used as cannon fodder, but were
kept within the second line in the combat zone,

or used as instructors in training
camps in Russia, as well as in Belarus.

The third group were cons. The same cannon
fodder that was used in Ukraine in the mode of

"slaughter". They are not even Wagners in the
full sense of the word, because these combat

units have only one task - to be eliminated
and take positions with their mortal bodies.

In other words - to become a point
on the map, no more, no less.

Now the cons are out. Well, they
ran out mostly after Soledar,

and now they are completely gone.
Prigozhin cannot compensate for

these losses, because hiring in penal
colonies is already closed for him,

and there are not many people willing to join
the group to make up for the necessary losses.

At the same time, it is no longer Prigozhin
who now commands the Bakhmut bridgehead,

but the regular army, and they are chasing the
remaining Wagners in the first ranks for slaughter

in the same format as before. And who will they
chase away if they run out of convicts? Of course

those who have been sitting in the second line
all these months - the remnants of the backbone.

It is obvious that the remnants of
the fighting potential of the Wagners,

its Russian group, are now
being finished off in Bakhmut.

In fact, after Bakhmut, the Wagner
group will never be the same as before,

and the Russian Defense Ministry is making maximum
efforts to ensure that it is exactly the case.
