I've got this little fire in my belly

that I just want to keep winning.

I feel like it would definitely really suck

Welcome back to your next challenge.

Yes! Whoo!

Not only are you playing to become

the first ever Australian Challenge champion

and win $200,000 in prize money,

but you are also playing

to represent Australia in the Challenge World Championship.

Today's challenge is called Frozen Senseless.

On one end of the field is a black box containing a series

of 3-D symbols.

On the other end of the field are corresponding symbols

and a solving table.

In between all of these puzzles are giant barriers

that you're going to need to dig under to get through.

The aim of the game is to successfully replicate

your puzzle in the black box on the solving table.

One of you is going to be feeling around in the black box,

attempting to make sense of the symbols,

while the other gets a look at the symbols in play on the solving table.

Once you've memorised enough information,

you're both going to make your way back to the centre,

where you will immerse yourself in freezing cold ice baths

and you will communicate what the symbol pattern is.

The first team to successfully replicate their puzzle

wins today's challenge and avoids elimination.

The losers, straight into the arena.

Let me tell you, this bath is icy cold.

It is actually sitting at zero degrees.

[ALL EXCLAIM]

CONOR: My heart skips a beat.

I've never taken an ice bath before, and that makes me nervous.

Let's strip down. Let's do it.

Grant is a builder. So we figure he's going to be building.

I'm a little worried about not winning today because I think

If I don't win a challenge, I feel like I am on the chopping block.

Everyone on their hands and knees digging.

One teammate has to go underneath the barrier, through the sand,

and remember a puzzle all by touch.

and I head under and immediately...

I'm questioning all the pasta I've eaten in the last seven days.

I think the girls will be gunning for her

and the boys will be gunning for me.

GRANT: How bad do I need to win this challenge?

Well, if I don't win, I'm going in the bottom.

I'm just praying to God because memory and puzzles,

it's something that I'm just no good at.

I think I feel a flower and a fish maybe.

But honestly, I'm just guessing right now.

It is a hot day in Argentina today.

So the players are going from extreme heat into extreme cold.

BRITTANY: I have decided to be the person that feels out the challenge

and Ciarran's decided to be the person that tries to build it.

I haven't done a puzzle since I'm ten years old.

The biggest puzzle I've tried to work out

is how to get and keep a boyfriend.

I've only got a few more ice baths in me.

You know, it's really not comfortable on the downstairs area,

through this obstacle course and through the brain teaser

and the brain freezer.

BRIHONY: Kiki and Konrad,

to get the orientation right on their puzzle,

they're deciding that they're going to face the same way.

A big part of this challenge is good communication,

but it's hard when you don't know your partner very well.

Grant and I don't talk a lot in the house.

MEGAN: I'm a little bit worried, but I know if Konrad won,

he wouldn't put myself and Grant in the arena.

So if we don't win, I'm just hoping that he does.

you were tasked with choosing the team

who is gonna go head-to-head against Grant and Megan tonight.

This is a decision we definitely didn't take lightly.

If anything, we probably took a little too long to decide.

We were kind of torn between our heads and our hearts,

and unfortunately we had to go with our heads this close to the end.

So we've decided against Ciarran and Brittany.

Ciarran has been on the podium for nearly every single challenge.

He's come first in one, he's a strong competitor,

and Brittany as well.

I've had the best time ever on the challenge.

I came in here pretty sad and didn't have a lot of confidence

and I feel like I've sort of built up some inner strength.

And yeah, I've really pushed myself and had a fantastic time.

It sucks because I've tried best I can.

I gave it everything I had.

Making me upset, thinking about that, you know?

Look, I just did my best for my family,

and hopefully my partner and my daughter proud of me.
