=The Journey of Chongzi= (Adapted from "The Journey of Chongzi" by Shu Ke)

=Episode 24=

Autumn is coming, the sky is clear,

and the moon is bright.

You are so happy today,

would something good happen?

Go tell them

to keep their eyes open.

There will be a great show in Nanhua.

Master.

Wake up, Master.

Don't scare me.

Master.

Master.

Wake up, Master.

Wake up.

I have used all the best immortal herbs

in Nanhua.

Lord Zhuo was furious upon hearing this,

and is on his way here now.

How should we deal with him?

Miss Zhuo is the only sister of Lord Zhuo.

Something happened to her in Nanhua,

and Zhuo Yao would definitely not let it go.

Maybe

this is what the demons did.

They deliberately alienated the relationship

between Nanhua and Qinghua.

But the demons

cannot enter Nanhua.

Could it be that

the remnants of the past haven't been cleared up,

and there are still spies from the Demon World

in Nanhua?

Yunji.

I haven't seen you for just a day.

Are you mad at me?

Get up

and go home with me.

Get up.

There are many people waiting for you to save.

Get up to save them.

Get up.

Get up.

You kept saying you want to save people.

But who can save you when something happened to you?

You waited for Luo Yinfan for so long,

but what did you get?

You were just a fool.

A fool.

Lord Zhuo.

I beg you to uphold justice for my master.

I know who killed her.

The murderer

is right in Nanhua.

Who is the murderer?

Supervisor Sage's disciple,

Chong Zi.

Chong Zi?

Answer me.

Where is she?

Don't talk nonsense.

Is there any real evidence?

On the night of Master's death,

I heard Chong Zi calling her name with my own ears.

Master never came back

after that.

Who could it be

if not her?

Let me ask you again.

Where is she?

Lord Zhuo, there is no real evidence

to prove that it is Chong Zi.

It's still guesswork.

Don't jump to conclusions.

The witness is right here.

It's definitely her!

Alright.

Lord Zhuo.

Calm down.

I'll bring her here

to give you justice.

Councilor.

It's noon.

Weird. How could I sleep for so long?

What are you doing?

Why did you kill Miss Zhuo?

Miss Zhuo is dead?

Ting Xue saw you

go to Zizhu Peak last night.

I have never left Yuchen Peak.

And I have no grudges against Miss Zhuo,

how could I kill her?

Stop quibbling.

Where did the stain on the shoes come from?

I have no idea.

I want to see my master.

You!

Councilor.

It's better to put Chong Zi in the Immortal Prison first.

After all, she is Supervisor Sage's disciple.

It depends on Supervisor Sage whether to interrogate her.

Take her away.

- Yes. - Yes.

Let go of my disciple.

Let her go?

Do you know what she did?

Anyway, she is my disciple.

Without my permission,

why did you lock her up?

Why?

It's because she's seen on Zizhu Peak at night.

Councilor, calm down.

Now is not the time for infighting.

I'll say that again.

Let go of my disciple.

See?

We are not as good as his disciple

in his eyes.

Yinfan is eager to protect his disciple.

Don't provoke him.

Stop it.

All right.

Since you don't think she is the murderer,

help her find the murderer.

And then

she will be innocent.

You better keep your promise.

Master.

I know something

that I have to tell you.

Say it.

According to my usual observations,

the master-student relationship between Chong Zi and Sage Chonghua

seems to be way too close.

Watch your words

at this moment.

It's a serious matter.

I dare not exaggerate anything.

The reason why I dared to tell you

is that I am afraid that...

I'm afraid that there will be another Yin Shuixian in Nanhua.

It has been a while since Chong Zi came to Nanhua.

But she has always been protected by Sage Chonghua,

arrogant and willful, full of evil spirits.

I'm afraid she came prepared.

It is possible for her

to seduce Sage Chonghua with the same face,

and to attack Miss Zhuo when she wasn't prepared.

And

her background is dubious.

Young Master Zhuo, I have been looking for you for a long time.

Here you are.

Take a try of...

Where are you going?

(Nanhua)

(It's a letter from Nanhua.)

(Could it be that the marriage is settled?)

(Miss Zhuo passed away, the whole immortal sect is mournful, come to Nanhua soon)

What?

Something happened to Miss Zhuo?

I'm here to see my aunt off.

You've followed me all the way.

Now we are in Nanhua.

Can you leave me alone?

I don't want others to misunderstand our relationship.

Young Master, I...

Are you Miss Min Suqiu?

I often hear people in the immortal sect say that

Miss Min has an extraordinary temperament.

It's really as expected.

You are worthy of being Councilor Min's grandniece.

I'm flattered.

May I ask you who you are?

I am Ting Xue,

the disciple of Miss Zhuo.

It's you.

Do you know

why Young Master Zhuo is indifferent to you?

All because of Chong Zi.

Chong Zi?

You may not know.

Young Master Zhuo is talented

and handsome.

He will definitely be able to inherit the Qinghua Sect one day.

Many women try their best to get close to him.

And Chong Zi is even more unscrupulous.

She first seduced Sage Chonghua,

and then Qin Ke.

Presumably Young Master Zhuo

is too kind to be confused by her.

I've heard a lot about her a long time ago,

but I didn't expect her to be so unbearable.

She even seduced

Sage Chonghua?

Sage Chonghua naturally dotes on her as his disciple.

But Chong Zi doesn't think so.

Before, she was sick in bed,

and I treated her with Master.

Chong Zi was jealous of the relationship between my master and Sage Chonghua,

and even killed my master

in revenge.

She did kill Miss Zhuo?

She is so vicious.

Chong Zi killed my master,

and she should pay with her life.

Once she dies,

Young Master Zhuo may wake up,

mend his ways,

and see how good you are.

Aunt.

My aunt died in vain.

Why did you come here

instead of investigating the real culprit?

Chong Zi got arrested and imprisoned.

What did you do?

Two of the most important women

in my life

lost their lives because of you.

I'd like to cherish them,

but it's too late.

Ask yourself

how you treated them.

I don't need you to tell me what to do.

Please leave us alone.

Let me keep her company for the last ride.

(Everything is my fault.)

(I won't let you die inexplicably.)

(It's just that)

(I don't believe this is what Chong Zi did.)

Unexpectedly, Miss Zhuo's death

was really caused by Chong Zi.

She is so vicious.

And I heard that

not only the Young Master,

but even Sage Chonghua

was completely deceived by her.

No matter what Chong Zi did,

they would protect her.

I really feel sorry for Miss Zhuo.

No matter how powerful Luo Yinfan's spells are,

he can't bully Qinghua

over and over again.

I won't let him succeed.

Chong Zi has to die.

Otherwise,

it's hard to relieve the pain of losing my sister.

Father.

The truth is still being investigated.

Chong Zi has not yet pleaded guilty.

How can you conclude that Chong Zi is a murderer

based on just a few words from someone?

If you just want to displease Luo Yinfan,

there are many ways.

Why do you have to hurt his disciple?

You are still speaking for Luo Yinfan.

Did you forget what he did to you?

Haven't you learned enough lessons before?

I'm not speaking for Luo Yinfan.

I remember everything he did.

But Chong Zi was wronged.

You!

I think

you just want Chong Zi to die

to calm your grievances,

and it has nothing to do with whether she is guilty or not.

It's for Chong Zi again.

Your aunt is dead.

But you are still obsessed.

- I... - Zhuo Hao.

Lord Zhuo is so angry

- because he wants to get justice for your aunt. - Shut up.

I...

Outsiders should not gossip

about my family affairs.

You should shut up.

Piss off.

Piss off!

(Why should I be worried?)

(What does Luo Yinfan's disciple have to do with me?)

(She just looks somewhat similar)

(to Chong Zi.)

(How will saving her)

(benefit me?)

(I am just asking for trouble.)

(This is...)

(Should I go up?)

(Someone cast illusions in the territory of Nanhua.)

(Could it be that Luo Yinfan)

(has something to show me?)

Isn't this the Immortal Prison?

Could it be that...

Chong Zi.

Chong Zi.

She's locked up here.

Evil breath.

Inborn evil breath.

I see.

Same appearance.

Same name.

Chong Zi.

Is it really you?

Now that you got her back,

you should treat her well.

Why lock her up here?

Luo Yinfan is such a jerk.

If I found him, I would...

Young Master Zhuo.

Here you are.

Young Master Zhuo.

Shall we talk in private?

Covering up evil breath with a pendant carrying aura.

Only you

can manage this.

You covered her appearance

to remove suspicion.

So

the reason why you don't want to tell everyone

is because...

I wouldn't have told anyone

if something serious had happened

that endangered her life.

Well.

If it's really evil breath,

could my aunt's death be caused

by Chong Zi?

No.

I checked the wound on Miss Zhuo's body,

and it wasn't caused by the magic weapon of Chong Zi.

I knew that

she'd never kill my aunt.

Councilor is eager to explain to your father,

so he will try his best to convict Chong Zi.

In their eyes,

whether Chong Zi is innocent or not is not important,

what matters

is the relationship between Nanhua and Qinghua.

Yes.

We should think of a way soon.

Something's wrong with Miss Zhuo's death.

It would be best if we could find out the truth.

But if it really gets to the point of no return,

no matter what,

we have to save Chong Zi's life first.

Due to my status,

I need your favor.

My favor?

Is this something you would say?

Seriously?

You really are different from before.

But are you doing everything

because you regret

killing her?

I don't need any reason to protect her.

If I hadn't had to,

I wouldn't have come to you.

It's okay.

After all, Chong Zi is my young lady.

Don't call her young lady.

I'd love to.

It has nothing to do with you.

Don't worry.

I will not let her die unjustly again.

Besides,

I have to uphold justice for my aunt.

As long as we find a way to get the best of both parties,

I am willing to give it my all,

no matter what it costs.

Wuhua Shield

makes all spells invisible.

I've only seen this spell

in books.

This is the trace left by the demons when they released their unique skill.

My aunt's death has something to do with the demons.

The demons came from this direction.

Yuchen Peak.

During this period of time, she was the only one living on Yuchen Peak.

Right.

How could the demons have anything to do with her?

We'll see.

What kind of spell is this?

This spell doesn't contain murderous intent,

only psychedelic effects.

Could it be...

Sha Yihuan.

The one of the demons

who is good at bewitching people with dreams?

Chong used to say that she had nightmares.

I'm going to see her.

I'm also going.

I'm going to see my disciple.

Don't follow me.

Take care.

Master.

You don't blame me

for taking so long to see you, do you?

Didn't you tell me not to

go to Zizhu Peak again?

How can I blame you

if you don't want to see me?

It's me

who dragged you down.

Stop pretending.

The interrogation will be held in a few days.

Are you worried?

It's no more than one life.

What is there to worry about?

I didn't do it.

As long as Master believes in me,

I have nothing to fear.

I've found some clues.

But there are some questions

I have to ask you.

Did you have a dream

the night Miss Zhuo was killed?

How did you know?

Yes.

I did.

There was always a voice in my dream

asking me to kill Miss Zhuo.

In this case,

Master would belong to me alone.

I had been rejecting in my dream.

Then I woke up in a shock.

I didn't expect

Miss Zhuo to die the next day.

I dared not tell others.

I'm afraid that after I say it,

they will think that I am the murderer.

I...

Demons invaded Nanhua to bewitch you to kill,

but they did it themselves

after failing to do so.

Don't worry, I will find that person

and take you back to Zizhu Peak.

Really?

Would you

abandon me?

Never ever.

Master.

I won't get you into trouble anymore,

and I'm not mad at you anymore.

I want to go back to Zizhu Peak with you,

to concentrate on practicing spells with you,

saving the world,

and eradicating the demons.

When we are free,

we can drink and eat fish at the tavern.

And Lion...

I miss it.

Stop crying.

We can go back soon.

Get a good night's sleep first.

Then go to Liuhe Hall with peace of mind.

I will arrange everything.

In the dream,

I really wished for a moment that

Master belonged to me alone.

But I know that

Master is not my own.

I don't expect Master

to belong to me alone.

But I hope to

have a little place for me

in your heart.

Miss Zhuo was Chong Zi's savior.

Chong Zi had no reason to kill her.

Chong Zi was framed.

Of course I know.

Because she is...

Because I just believe in her.

Qinghua needs an explanation.

I really want to

deal with that evildoer as soon as possible.

But Yinfan didn't allow me to

and wanted to look for evidence.

What?

Luo Yinfan didn't tell you?

No.

He and my son found evidence

that the demons invaded Nanhua.

What?

He didn't tell you about such a big deal.

What do you think he's trying to hide?

In my opinion,

Chong Zi colluded with the demons to murder my sister.

It was also a conspiracy of the demons

that she came back from the dead and returned to Nanhua.

And Sage Chonghua turned a blind eye to all this,

and let everything go on

for his own preference.

Councilor.

Supervisor Sage wants to eradicate the demons wholeheartedly,

how could he let their conspiracy go unnoticed?

You'd better

It won't work.

He's been obsessed.

Only when Chong Zi was gone

So the only way now

is to kill Chong Zi immediately.

Execution without trial

Councilor, please think about it twice.

Which is more important, the rules of the immortal sect

or the safety of the common people?

Councilor.

Lord Zhuo is right.

Are you confused?

Councilor.

Qinghua has already punished Chong Zi.

That should be the end of the matter.

I've checked the Book of Secrets.

Miss Zhuo's death

was caused by the evil spirit

that was restrained by the moon.

Qi restrains the energy,

imprisoning the primordial spirit.

It proves that this matter was exactly done by the demons.

Since Yinfan said that it was caused by Sha Yihuan,

you can make a little modification

and save her life

while preserving Qinghua's majesty.

I said I could save you.

Instead, you were the ones

who lynched her

while I was practicing.
