[Episode 13]

You sent your men to poison them, huh?

But you promised her

that you wouldn't kill the innocent.

I promised I wouldn't annihilate Tang Clan

but I wouldn't let them go.

I just punished them

in the way they hurt others!

You have no idea.

Tang Huan eats arsenic every day.

He has the antidote.

What you did

would only kill innocent people.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Who told you to poison them on the sly?

You should have used your brain!

Tang Clan is famous for poisons.

Somebody!

- Aye! - Aye!

Stop!

Xiao Shan.

Here!

How are you?

Are you all right?

Assemble Black Armour Army

and wipe out Tang Clan!

Aye!

Your Majesty,

don't be impulsive.

Calm down.

I hate Tang Clan, too.

But Your Majesty,

if you always want to wipe it out,

it'll harm the harmony.

I know you care about the world.

Everyone sees

how you treat common people.

You're not a man who kills the innocent.

I will, this time.

Calm down, Your Majesty.

You don't know about women.

Ye Xi wanted to take revenge

and she could do that personally.

How could you

deprive her of the chance

to avenge herself?

Right?

Fine.

Leave us.

- Aye. - Aye.

Miss.

You must be hungry.

Have something to eat.

Here.

OK. I'll eat it myself.

What's this?

Ginseng and bird's nest soup.

Oh, no. It's Korean ginseng.

His Majesty can't find any ginseng.

This is the best he can find.

Miss Ye, you don't like this?

Take it away.

Aye.

Why didn't she eat it?

Miss Ye didn't want it.

How dare you

disobey me!

- I don't dare. - I don't dare.

It's my problem,

why would you lose your temper with them?

You're wounded

and you lost your vigor.

You need nutrition.

You must watch

Miss Ye finishes three meals a day.

- Aye. - Aye.

What?

I'll have this for three meals a day?

Yeah.

It's even more horrible

than meals in Fenghua Valley.

I won't eat it.

Don't be childish.

If she doesn't eat it,

you just keep kneeling

even if your knees are broken!

Break my legs, then.

Don't talk nonsense.

I'm doing this for your own good.

Hearing this

makes me feel bad.

You're so weak now.

And it breaks my heart.

You need a lot of nutrition.

Unfortunately,

I can't find high-quality ginseng.

It was what pushed back.

No nutrition can help.

What... What back?

I...

Forget about it.

I'm tired.

I want some sleep.

You may all leave.

Leave us.

- Aye. - Aye.

Don't... Don't you leave?

Are you gonna watch me sleep?

Yes, I will.

I won't let you

get out of my sight.

Single people like us

stay in the same room.

Don't you find anything wrong?

We're just in the same room.

You and I even

slept on the same bed.

I'm afraid others will gossip.

Who dares?

After you recover,

I'll take you back to the capital.

I've put down the upheaval.

Now, the whole court is

in my hand.

I will give you

the grandest and most luxurious wedding

that can draw the attention of the whole world.

I will make you

the world's strongest and most honorable woman!

Wait.

Stop, stop it.

You'll marry me?

Because I always yielded to you,

I missed quite a lot.

Now I finally understand.

To keep you by my side,

I have to marry you forcibly.

You're taking advantage of my weakness.

You're wounded,

so you have a temper.

It doesn't matter.

We'll just be together.

Shut up, man!

I don't want to be your wife.

What's wrong with it?

Is it that you want to be the empress?

Whether you want to be the emperor

is your own business

and it has nothing to do with me.

Even if you make me

the Queen of Heaven,

I won't be interested.

I...

Just want to be an ordinary woman.

Wrong.

Even if I get married,

I'll still be a young lady.

I expect the most ordinary married life.

Well, you know what?

Actually,

no one likes to be forced.

And I...

I just want the freedom

to make my own choices.

If this freedom

has to be traded,

I'll be putting my life

under

someone else's dagger.

Do you understand?

Xi, don't worry.

No one but me

can force you

to do anything.

You must be tired.

Get to sleep.

I know.

After experiencing

that horrible nightmare,

you don't dare to sleep alone.

I'll accompany you.

Then you won't be afraid of anything.

No, no.

Why can't you understand?

I'm not afraid and I don't need you.

Get out!

From this day on,

I'll keep close to you and protect you.

I'll give you

all the best I have.

But in your eyes and heart,

you can care for no one,

but me.

You know what?

If I were strong enough

to beat you, I would...

Beat me.

As you wish.

I won't fight back.

Your silence

means a yes, huh?

Sleep.

I wonder

how Ye Xi is doing now.

The wind blows hard and I'll never come back!

Ye Xi needs our help.

Go. Let's get in and check.

Why are you still awake?

When you walk up and down,

how can I fall asleep?

Then I'll sit and guard you,

until you fall asleep.

[Loyal and Righteous]

My Lady

wants to check on Miss Ye.

Without His Majesty's permission,

no one can get in.

That's...

That's Xiaoxiao, I think.

She has something to tell me.

Let her in.

Get her in.

- Aye. - Aye.

Han Zi,

wait here for me.

Yes.

What are you doing here?

I...

I'm sleepless.

What a coincidence!

I don't want to sleep, either.

I want a bath.

I feel I'm sticky all over.

You're wounded and must stay away from water.

Your Majesty,

you have no idea.

A woman

must take a bath,

even if her limbs are broken.

Fine.

I'll go have the bath water prepared.

Wait, wait a minute!

My wounds will be infected

unless I use flowing water.

I just saw a hot spring

behind the mountain.

You did?

Take me there.

Go.

I can't wait.

Go, go, go.

Go.

But...

What?

You'll follow me to a bath?

If anything goes wrong with her...

She has me.

I promise she'll be safe

and won't get hurt at all.

Go.

Be careful.

Stop, stop!

Put me down.

Why? We haven't arrived yet.

OK. Thank you.

What are you going to do?

We haven't arrived yet.

I think I heard the sound of the water.

It must be near.

I can walk.

But are you all right?

Are you really going to take a bath?

Yes, of course.

Fine, then.

After that,

let Bai Yue

apply new medicine to your wounds.

Can you help me

get away

under Cang Qi's nose?

I don't think my guards

can defeat Black Armour Army.

Even if

I seize him unexpectedly

with my Overlord Spear,

you're still too wounded

to run away.

Let's not discuss this

until Bai Yue

heals you.

You made sense.

I'll get back soon, then.

But...

Why do you want to run away?

Did His Majesty

try to force you?

No.

It's not that he isn't nice to me,

but he is too nice to me.

I wonder if you understand

such feelings.

For example,

you don't feel cold,

but someone else thinks it's cold at night

and forces you to wear thick clothes.

Will you be moved?

I'll slap him.

He can't decide if I feel cold.

Bravo!

That's exactly my point, too.

Thank you.

But you should get back first.

Oh,

do you really not need my help?

We're both women.

But it's still not very convenient.

Fine.

Get down there and you'll see the hot spring.

Be very careful.

Han Zi, wait here for her.

Don't get closer until she calls you.

Aye.

[Loyal and Righteous]

- Your Majesty. - Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Where's Bai Yue?

Taking a bath in his room, I think.

Mr. Chu

came out and went back in a few times.

I don't know what he's up to.

Ignore them.

Miss Lin and Miss Ye

went to the hot spring behind the mountain.

Should I send more guards?

Don't get too close.

Just guard at the foot of the mountain.

No one shall go over.

Aye.

The water isn't deep!

Stop flopping about!

What are you doing here?

Do you feel bad

unless you ask for trouble?

I'm supposed to ask you this.

What are you doing here?

He stays by your side

day and night, doesn't he?

What are you doing here so late?

Do you know how much I worry about you?

I fear you would choke yourself

or be scalded to death.

But look at you.

Did you come here to drown yourself?

Don't be anxious.

Why do you worry so much about me?

Because he said

he would hold me responsible if I couldn't cure you.

It's not that I can't cure you,

but you just like

torturing yourself.

Unless you're stunned,

no doctor can

cure a patient like you,

however great he is.

Come on, you get me wrong.

I'm afraid of death most.

I want to recover soon, too.

I'm just trying something new.

Something new?

What is it?

You came here in the middle of the night.

To take in the energy

from nature?

How do you know that?

Then you can find a place

to bury your head in it

and see if you can

have a new head.

How do you know that, too?

I feel a little bit cold.

Because you lost too much blood.

Wait!

What are you doing?

Bai Yue!

Is he angry or shy?

Does his back itch again?

When I touched him last time,

his back itched.

Does his problem

really have something to do with me?

Why? What happened to...

The... The tea...

It's...

It's good tea.

You can enjoy some.

How about I get you a doctor?

Let me have a look.

You... You're all right?

Really?

What tea is it?

Longjing Tea.

Why is it the same smell?

Some kind of ginseng

and the bird's nest...

It's quite nutritious.

I'll eat it for you.

I plan to have someone write a book

based on your story.

It will tell

how Tang Huan made use of you,

betrayed you,

and set a trap to kill you.

Its name will be...

Waking from a Hangover:

Complicated Love History.

This book will be given out

so that females in the martial world

will learn a lesson.

What do you think?

Aren't you

rubbing salt into my wounds?

I want to warn

those females

so that they can see through

men's tricks and lies.

So, this book should

mainly describe

how you were fooled.

As for the revenge thing,

not everyone

can be as strong as you are.

So, in their cases,

staying away from and guarding against men

would work better.

But,

would it make me

look stupid?

Stories

are always exaggerated.

To prevent

more females

from being fooled by bad guys,

make a little bit of sacrifice.

Why is it me?

Because

I've never got a chance

to meet a bad guy.

Well, you're indeed unlucky.

You met three bad guys.

Don't be so harsh, huh?

I just feel sorry for you.

Think.

How unlucky you are

to have this kind of life!

Now that

you have so many miserable experiences,

share it with everyone.

Don't be petty.

Lin Xiaoxiao!

Are you still

my best friend?

I am.

Just because I'm your best friend,

I'm talking bluntly to you.

Otherwise,

I would make conventional remarks.

You!

Women are indeed fiercer than men.

Get out!

So, quarreling really helps.

Even I cooled down, too.

Bai Yue said

you were expecting a wedding.

But after such a shock,

you didn't cry, make a scene,

or do anything else.

It didn't seem right.

He didn't want you

to have pent grievances

which was bad for recovery.

So, he asked me

to do something

and make you

vent your anger.

Look.

You were lying in bed

and couldn't move.

But now you can sit up.

Feeling better, huh?

What on earth is he thinking?

Does he know my feeling or not?

But thank you, anyway.

You're welcome.

Bai Yue

owes me one more time.

Stop, stop.

Could you eat it outside?

The smell makes me want to vomit.

I'm finishing it soon.

Your Majesty,

Tang Clan sent a message,

saying their master wants

to talk to you in person

about Miss Ye's secrets.

He has a death wish

and I'll satisfy him.

Keep this absolutely secret to Her Grace.

Back in the capital,

I will marry her.

Congratulations.

I'll have everything arranged

and have him killed here.

Get out.

Your Grace, His Majesty

ordered us to keep close to you

before he left.

Your Grace?

I'm not. Don't call me that.

I have a headache and I can't breathe!

So many of you

keep me surrounded.

The room is too hot to be ventilated!

Then we...

Did you hear her?

She can't even breathe.

If she really dies,

His Majesty will blame it on you.

Now you can breathe more smoothly, huh?

Could you help me

get rid of the cloth?

Then I can breathe freely.

Last night, you had a medicated bath

and used some ointment.

You have to be wrapped

like this.

The ointment on you is worth a lot.

It can't be wasted.

Did you help me

get changed?

I remember I fell asleep

when I was in the bath.

Don't imagine things.

You should be grateful

to Lin Xiaoxiao's guards.

They carried you back.

As for the ointment,

other guards

scrambled to apply it on you.

No one else can interfere.

I don't want to be his wife.

I would rather be a witch.

They're nearly killing me.

Every day, they force me to eat

what I don't want.

I kind of miss

the meals in Fenghua Valley.

You can't move now

and have to be pushed around.

Yes, I can't move now.

But you shouldn't

feed me with your mouth.

I think

your brain was hurt,

instead of your vital organs.

By the way,

last night, you had an attack

of your weird illness again.

Does it still itch now?

Watch her.

She has to take the decoction.

- Aye. - Aye.

Your Grace.

I really have something to tell you!

Your Grace, take the decoction.

Take it

- and you'll recover. - I don't want it.

Go away!

Your Majesty comes in person

but I didn't do the honors...

Get to the point.

Your Majesty,

I heard a few days ago,

you used fierce tricks

to put down the remnants.

I'm willing to give you

the formulas of the Rainstorm Needle

and the Thunderbolt.

With them,

your Black Armour Army

would be intimidating.

Is this all you want to say?

And something about Ye Xi.

I didn't mean to kill her

at our wedding.

But those martial artists

forced me, Your Majesty.

I just became the master of Tang Clan

and many things wait to be done.

Your Majesty, if you

support my clan,

I can tell you

some secrets.

Bai Yue, who saved Ye Xi,

turns out to be the lord

of the most mysterious Fenghua Valley.

Fenghua Valley is said to be fabulously rich.

Their lords of generations

have accumulated countless treasures.

Ye Xi has a secret book

named Scripture of Materia Medica.

You must have heard about it.

The former crown prince

killed her

just to get that book.

Allegedly, that book

has recorded secret recipes

about agelessness and invigoration.

I'm giving you

one last chance.

What's your point?

Ye Xi and Bai Yue

must have some kind of relationship.

I guess that book

was from Fenghua Valley, too.

And I heard, in the valley,

there's a dreamy Underground Palace.

Bai Yue took no one in,

but Ye Xi,

and they stayed there for a long moment.

Your Majesty,

don't you want

those treasures

and that book?

Your Majesty just put down the upheaval

and should keep a low profile.

We're willing to do secret things for you

as your pawns.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty,

the Rainstorm Needle is in the box.

I'm giving it to you first.

You have great power, Your Majesty.

In this case, I believe

you'll find the heir of Lu Ban [*The most famous carpenter]

and open the box.

Stop being hypocritical.

I really can't help it.

Is the Rainstorm Needle yours?

Is the Thunderbolt yours?

You robbed those things

and how can they show your sincerity?

Even I can't find the heir of Lu Ban.

How dare you want him!

Darn it!

What are you doing here?

I didn't sleep much last night

and I came out for a walk.

You hurt Ye Xi like that.

Even I can't help

defending her.

His Majesty is here.

Don't push it!

It's easy for His Majesty

to kill you.

Who are you to negotiate?

Get back to your clan.

Or you will die.

Let's go.

I'm angry, too.

I disfigured his face,

so, it's some kind of revenge.

But we should

leave his life to Ye Xi.

You won't

attack Fenghua Valley, will you?

I own the whole world!

Why would I care about a valley?

Then why did you...?

What's the relationship

between Ye Xi and Bai Yue?

What you see

is what you get.

It's the first time you stare at me like this.

I'll have feelings.

I mean, feelings for a good friend.

Hey, let's try to talk.

Don't beat me.

I know you have

a lot of confusion now.

But I...

I really know nothing.

I'm innocent.

The tea you drank yesterday

had dried chrysanthemum

to remove your internal heat.

Maybe it's because

you have a bad temper

and too much internal heat.

A doctor

must know the cause of the disease.

I guess

what you want most

is to get Miss Ye

out of this place, right?

If you keep waiting,

Miss Ye

will put on the wedding dress again

and marry His Majesty.

You know quite a lot.

Do you have any ideas?

I...

I have the measure

of myself.

But I can tell your fortune.

Let me tell you your fortune.

We mustn't stay here longer than we have to.

You'd better

take Lin Xiaoxiao away early.

But if we leave,

you'll be here alone.

What's the secret

between you

and Ye Xi?

What did you do

in Fenghua Valley?

Your Majesty,

talk with him as you wish.

But could you put your sword down first?

If you don't explain it clearly,

I'm gonna kill him.

Your Majesty,

are you getting the wrong guy?

I have nothing to do with this.

Yeah.

Even if you threaten me with his life,

so what?

You!

Your Majesty!

Th... Thank you.

Why are they fighting again?

Don't ask, just run.

You're his thick-and-thin friend.

How can you leave him alone?

Cang Qi...

He went insane and wanted to kill me.

Let's not make things worse.

Just go.

Or you would get blood all over!

- Go! - But...

Bai Yue.

What on earth is

the Scripture of Materia Medica?

Why is everybody fighting for it?

Stop asking. Stop. Go.

you're awake.
