have no effect on them.

Ordinarily they're harmless.

They don't bother anybody

caught out in the cold.

night had his car break down.

He killed a woman, froze her to death.

then he'd have to find heat, or die.

Every winter, Varme Tyv hibernate.

They crawl into an enclosed space,

collectively sharing their body heat.

And where would a hibernaculum be?

where they wouldn't be disturbed.
