Ermittlungsergebnisse an die

Presse weitergegeben, mögliche Mitwisser
und Mittäter waren vorgewarnt, sie konnten

Spuren verwischen und Absprachen
treffen. Was die Staatsschützer von

den rechtsextremistischen Akteuren im
Hintergrund wirklich wissen, ist unklar.

Klar ist jedoch, dass sie vertuschen
wollten, in welchem Ausmaß sie die

rechte Gefahr verkannten.

dann wird dabei eine recht anrüchige
Verquickung für CSU-Politiker und

CSU-Funktionäre als Privatleute mit den
Sicherheitsbehörden im Sicherheitsapparat

und auch den Geheimdiensten sichtbar.

Es geht um das
Oktoberfestattentat.

Die Ermittler konnten 1980 mit den
Beweisstücken, die sie am Tatort

gefunden haben, nicht allzu viel anfangen.
Heute könnten sie Gold wert sein.

Denn wo damals DNA-Spuren hinterlassen
wurden, findet man sie heute noch.

Zum Beispiel auf dem Fragment
einer abgerissenen Hand,

die in der Asservatenkammer liegt,
in Karlsruhe. Man hat serologische

Untersuchungen angestellt,
die Blutgruppe bestimmt -

mit dem Ergebnis, dass die Hand
weder von Köhler stammt,

noch von einem der uns bekannten
Opfer. Fingerabdrücke dieser Hand

wurden aber auf Unterlagen Köhlers
gefunden. Das heißt, in Karlsruhe

liegt nach wie vor die Hand
eines Unbekannten.

Jemand, der abgetaucht ist?
- Zumindest ist dieser Schwerverletzte

damals in keinem Krankenhaus aufgetaucht.

Wieder einmal der
große Unbekannte, der im Dunkeln

verschwunden ist.
- ULRICH CHAUSSY: Nur, dass du diesmal

mit seiner DNA eine eindeutige
Personenspur hast.

Letztendlich geht es hier um die letzte
Chance, die Mittäter von damals

doch noch zu kriegen. Nicht
mehr und nicht weniger.
