[SHINING Just for You]

[Episode 19]

Your Highness,

there will be a full moon tonight.

Your condition might act up again.

This is made from the herbal tea recipe given by Director Bai.

Drink it to soothe your mind.

Dismiss.

Yes, Your Highness.

I began to fear

the full moon when I was eight.

Look away

then.

You don't understand.

I was born

with the ability to sense the power of the moon.

It's a blessing

and

a curse.

I cannot easily escape

from the lethality of the moon.

Regardless of past history,

you are His Majesty's soul mate.

I'm sure he can protect you.

I once thought

that I could

keep His Majesty company if I was in the palace.

Another day with him

is another day worth living.

But now,

I'm within the comfort of the palace,

while he is so far away.

He is in danger,

but I cannot do anything.

Your Highness, if you make the request,

I'm sure His Majesty will let you join him.

Anyway,

any news from His Majesty?

Where is he now?

He got into danger and canceled the trip to Wanzhou and Yuezhou.

He is now in Guiyang.

He should be back in Tianqi soon.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Chu Ye is back.

Chu Ye is back.

Chu Ye is back?

Come down already.

Chu Ye.

Princess Lian.

How is everything?

Don't worry.

I never let you down,

do I?

Stop being cocky. Tell us everything.

How much food did you get?

Enough for the winter.

We won't starve!

Hooray!

Wonderful.

Thank you for your hard work, Chu Ye.

Let's unload the food.

Sure.

All the men, come carry the food with me.

Let's go.

Let's carry the food.

Amazing news.

Go now.

Lian.

Chu Ye is back?

He came back with food.

We can survive this winter.

Cheng Yuantao, help them out.

Yes, sir.

Come.

Lian.

It has rained a lot lately

and the path connecting Zhongzhou has collapsed.

You're running low on food too.

Will you have enough?

Carry it properly.

Hopefully yes.

Don't worry.

The Yuezhou Army has been helping us.

We will

share our food with you this time.

Your Highness,

come pick the pearls.

Okay.

More men, please.

Coming.

We need more men.

Come on.

I think this one is good.

Come.

Qingheng.

Have some soup to warm you up.

Is it delicious?

It is.

Qingheng.

Let's get married.

That way, we'll have a reason

to see His Majesty in Tianqi.

He will give us dowry and bride price.

We'll have enough money

to last until next year's autumn harvest.

But...

I understand your concern.

But you said yourself

that trading with the Heluo Clan for food could only be a temporary relief.

We might not have anything

to trade with them

next spring.

Qingheng.

Your clan knows that His Majesty has mandated your marriage.

You also see how well

the Yebei citizens get along

with the Yuezhou Army.

They won't oppose this.

Besides,

you're doing this for them.

I don't want to marry someone for them.

On behalf of my clan elders, my uncle has already told me

to marry you

to unite

Yebei people and the Yuezhou Army.

If it's for my clan,

I would have...

Then...?

I could give up my life

for my clan,

but I don't want to marry you

because of this.

Tell me.

Are you willing to marry me?

Even if I will die

for my clan at any moment?

I am.

Of course I am.

I knew you wouldn't say no.

I don't want to hear a no either.

His Majesty said

that there would be no assembly today.

Great Steward Fan shall handle all affairs in his stead.

What...

How many days has it been?

His Majesty hasn't attended any court assembly since his return.

His Majesty works hand in hand with Official Fan.

I'm sure the Great Steward

has taken a lot of burden off His Majesty.

I heard His Majesty ran into assassins

while was in Minzhong Mountain.

That assassin pushed Director Bai into a bottomless abyss,

but His Majesty rescued her.

A bottomless abyss, you hear?

But His Majesty came out unscathed.

Heaven must have blessed him.

Indeed.

Indeed.

Official Duanmu.

Yes, Great Steward?

Director Bai has been absent too.

Did His Majesty give her a special assignment?

I have no idea. Since her return from the tour,

she hasn't signed the attendance.

But Director Bai has earned His Majesty's favor,

so it is no surprise that she was given a special order.

Tabai?

Tabai is a kind of bird. Once trained,

it will lure

its kins for its master.

Therefore, secret spies in other clans

trained by the Winged People

are called Tabai.

I did not know of this story.

Your task

is to lure out the remainder of the Winged Clan,

especially Yu Linkong.

Although you are Winged People,

you are nonetheless a Chao citizen.

The peace of Ningzhou

depends on you.

Duly noted, Your Majesty.

Thank you for your help, Gu.

It's been a while.

Have you missed me?

What do you look like now?

Show me.

Hurry up.

Bai Lu, stop hitting me.

As annoying as always.

I hope he didn't give you too much trouble.

All is well.

Yun Wen and I talked a lot.

Once he obtains a form,

I would like to visit him.

What did you

talk about?

None of your business.

It's only for Official Gu here.

For example,

how I came to this universe.

Really?

Of course not.

I can't believe you are that gullible, stupid Bai Lu.

You...

I...

He's rude.

Very rude.

Your Highness,

His Majesty sent you this gold hairpin.

After the previous inspection tour,

His Majesty

has not visited me.

I thought he forgot about me.

Is this exclusively for us

or does every palace have it?

They said it was a souvenir

for all concubines from the inspection tour.

So it is just a formality.

Everyone has one.

I shall keep it away.

Wait.

Put it on for me.

Yes, Your Highness.

Your Majesty,

Tabai from Ningzhou finds out

that there are Winged People hiding in Tianqi.

Has Xue Xuanjing gone home?

No.

What is he doing in Tianqi?

He loiters in a restaurant

and goes home drunk.

Which restaurant?

Jianyue Pavilion.

Find me

the remainder of the Winged Clan.

Yes, Your Majesty.

[Jianyue Pavilion]

Take her down.

The six of you

can't catch one person?

What are you good for?

She can't run away.

I'm sure I can find her in a few days.

Are you sure?

Sir,

she was hit by my arrow.

The arrow was laced with the poison, Green Water.

Wherever she goes,

her cohorts will have to treat her condition.

Check all the pharmacies in the city

and we will have a lead.

You still have a brain at least.

Go serve your punishment

before you continue the investigation.

Yes, sir.

Go now.

Green Water?

This is...

The antidote will require

several herbs that are hard to find.

Young Master.

No.

They almost got me.

They must be watching

those herbs now.

I know.

Don't worry.

We already bought those herbs

when purchasing herbs for Taoyuan Valley.

All you need to do now is rest.

Hejin.

Please get rid of those things later.

Do not let anyone see you.

Noted.

They still managed to track us in the end.

I see you're still awake,

so I came with some tea.

You may return.

No need to serve me now.

Noted.

If you return to Ningzhou

and get yourself reinstated as the Prince,

you can rally all clan leaders

to revolt against the Emperor of Chao.

If we're doing this,

we do this the legal way.

The Emperor of Chao is planning to build a canal in Ningzhou.

Once that is built,

it will be detrimental to our forces.

Besides,

Tianying has been discovered by the covert guards.

I think there is another spy

from the ancient families of Ningzhou.

I am suspecting Tianyao of Qingcaobin.

He is the only one with a mysterious background here.

Young Master, you refuse to leave Tianqi.

Is it because of Miss Ye?

It has nothing to do with her.

At the moment,

she's close to the Emperor of Chao.

We need her for our revenge.

Tianying is seriously injured.

We cannot dally in Tianqi.

If you need

someone close to the Emperor to be your informant,

why don't you ask Xue Xuanjing?

Maybe he has the connection.

I know what to do.

You're dismissed.

Yes, Young Master.

Why hasn't the Emperor of Chao come bother you?

No idea.

He's busy, I guess.

12 Chapters of Dimension.

Are you still studying the array of time?

Yes.

I already told you.

Without the complete Suizheng Array Runes,

it cannot be activated.

Maybe I already have them.

Stop daydreaming.

You know, I have met the Truth Master.

I could enter the array in the Stone Vault.

That's the Suizheng Array, right?

Wait.

Where did you find that array?

In Minzhong Mountain.

Minzhong Mountain?

There's an entrance to the Stone Vault there too?

Tell me

how I can return to the past with the array.

The Suizheng Array

can create a time-traveling passage.

A time-traveling passage?

Time flows forward like a river.

If you want to travel to the past,

you need to open a special spatial rift

to backtrack.

That's a time-traveling passage.

However,

after you activate it, you need a lot of Ice Crystals

to provide the necessary celestial power.

That's how you maintain it.

I have a lot of Ice Crystals.

When we were defeating Cai Can,

Yu Xiuming gave me a lot.

You have to help me build the time-traveling passage.

But I...

If you say yes now,

I'll get you

Jinzhan Incense and Juluo Plate right away.

Right away?

So you already have them?

Yes.

When we were on the inspection tour,

Cheng Wu found Juluo Plate

and Gu Wangran has Jinzhan Incense.

So you lied to me.

What an honor to be able to witness

a soul taking a form.

Indeed.

I wonder what she did.

I know, right?

Is this warranted?

Exactly.

Look.

Whose maid is that?

No idea.

Stop!

Second Young Master Fan.

Oh, you.

Miss.

No!

Let go of me!

What's the matter?

I'm disciplining my maid.

Do I need to consult the Bureau of Astrology

for that too?

Come.

Come here.

Ye, don't cross him.

This is my fate.

Is she your maid?

Can you come to Guangyang Palace with me

to tell His Majesty that?

You think you can threaten me with His Majesty?

I see him

very frequently.

Let's go?

Patience.

All of you, please be my witness.

His Majesty issued an edict

that all women from Yebei

would be registered with the Imperial Office of Music

before being assigned to each household.

Does her name

appear on the Fan family's administration record?

Is that so?

I see.

It's none of your business.

It's none of my business,

but it sure is His Majesty's.

I guess I can tell His Majesty

that before each bureau, household, or even His Majesty

select the maids they want,

someone already went to the Imperial Office of Music,

altered the record in secret and took more than ten people away.

Nonsense. Not more than ten people.

Not more than ten people?

How dare he. He should be punished.

Indeed.

I agree.

Second Young Master Fan.

His Majesty hates

liars the most.

Do you know?

Fine.

You win this time.

We'll see in the future.

Let's go.

Have a safe trip.

All right. Move on now.

Are you all right?

Thank you, Ye.

Don't worry.

I won't let him bully you.

Just work for me now.

Director Bai.

There's a problem.

There's a huge problem.

Director Bai.

I...

Director Bai.

There's a problem.

Director Bai.

The Astrology Chart to be delivered to His Majesty is not ready yet.

Director Bai,

what

should we do?

Don't worry.

I will hand it in today.

Your Majesty, I am happy that General Zhu Ying

and Princess Qingheng are getting married.

But they are in Yuezhou,

so they can get married there.

I promise to hold their wedding ceremony here,

so we shall proceed that way.

In the entirety of Great Chao's history,

no royal princess has married into another family.

Great Steward Fan,

we follow the rules of the previous dynasty

when we hand out titles to ministers.

Why can't we do the same to Her Highness?

In the previous dynasty, when a princess got married,

a Princess's Residence would be built in the capital.

But Her Highness will have to return to Yuezhou.

It doesn't make sense

to build the Princess's Residence in Tianqi.

That's easy.

The Bureau of Situ will give them some money

for the construction of their abode in Yuezhou.

That is inadequate!

How is that inadequate?

His Majesty

is trying to build the canal here.

Our budget is tight and we cannot afford

another expense

to construct the Princess's Residence.

Great Steward Fan, don't you use that excuse again.

You took a huge chunk

of the military budget

to build

the canal too.

You cannot say that, Director Bai.

Although His Majesty has allocated a budget for the construction,

there are many other projects

that will require the Treasury's aid.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

In Ningzhou,

there is a town called Qingcaobin.

Last month, they requested to use horses

more than 100 times for their commerce.

It's a small town with hardly any business activity.

Who knows why they needed

that many horses

last month?

And there is a winged man called Tianyao.

His background is mysterious

and why is he the magistrate?

I can't help but wonder what the Bureau of Situ is doing.

I gave him the post.

Don't mind him.

Your Majesty,

he alone drained the entire town's

food provision.

It's serious embezzlement.

I heard there was even a riot.

You know what?

Reduce the tax on Qingcaobin.

We were talking

about Princess Qingheng's marriage.

Don't bring up other problems.

-Yes, Your Majesty. -Yes, Your Majesty.

And so,

we will follow the standard procedure.

Calculate Princess Qingheng's dowry and bride price

before delivering the money to them.

Then, find a place

in the South Palace and tidy it up

so that they can have their wedding there.

As for the construction of their abode...

I believe

we can postpone it.

Let's see once the canal is built.

I thank you on behalf

of Princess Qingheng.

Qingzhan, Qingsu. You're here in Tianqi

to prepare for Lian's wedding.

Take it seriously.

Make sure she marries like a princess.

She'll need a beautiful veil and gown.

A beautiful veil and gown?

We don't have them.

We will.

We will have them soon.

Speak frankly.

Ye.

I have a question.

Is there a seal on my body?

A seal?

As you know,

Qingsu is the only person

from my family who can't pick up occult skills.

That's why we want to know

if the seal on your occult affinity is broken.

It is.

How do you know?

If the seal isn't broken,

you wouldn't be in the Bureau of Astrology.

Since Su cannot use any occult skills,

he has been sidelined by his family.

He wants to prove to everyone

that he can protect the people around him.

I see.

You know I broke the seal,

so you want to know

if I can help Su break his seal.

Su.

Try this.

This is Danhua tea from Yunzhou.

Did you see anything?

Isn't it delicious?

His body contains Guxuan Celestial Power,

so he can't

learn any occult skills from this era.

Guxuan is a star of death.

No one can see it.

He

doesn't need any training at all.

He was born with the power of Guxuan.

If he learns any

occult skills from this era,

their celestial power

will be absorbed and negated

by the Guxuan within him.

You mean

he is destined

to be unable to learn any occult skills?

He can learn Guxuan occult skills.

Guxuan occult skills?

Forget what I said.

Once you learn them,

you cannot walk under the sun anymore.

They are a dangerous art

and can drive you crazy.

If that happens,

he will be hunted down by all arcanists.

Ye said

learning Guxuan occult skills is dangerous.

If I give up,

will you be disappointed?

We grow up together,

but you have to make this decision yourself.

Qingzhan.

I don't want to be useless.

A Yebei person

shouldn't bow down to Chao.

A Yebei person

without courage and pride

is not a Yebei person.

What do you want to do? I'll help you.

Your Majesty,

Wanzhou sent us some daffodils.

They smell refreshing.

Do you want to take two stems with you

so that you can put them in your vase?

Anything.

Your Majesty, you have returned

for more than a month.

Speaking of which,

Bai Lu

hasn't come here to deliver the Yin-Yang Calendar this month.

Someone else from the Bureau of Astrology can do the task.

I heard

she accomplished a feat on Zhenxia Mountain.

Did you

award her?

He did.

His Majesty asked me to send Cai Can's helmet

to Director Bai.

However,

it was returned.

Enough.

I think

your gift

might not be to her liking.

Why?

Although Bai Lu is an official,

she is also a woman.

Your Majesty, it's normal that you don't know

what women want.

What do women want?

You have many things in this palace,

except for sincerity.

Why don't you tell Director Bai

what is on your mind?

Ling Yun.

Ling Yun.

Your Majesty?

Go to the Bureau of Astrology

and tell them to send me

tonight's Star Map

tomorrow.

Noted.

Make sure they send

their best officer to do it.

Otherwise,

I will hold her accountable.

Noted.

The Ice Platform offers a vast view.

They are authorized to use it tonight

for their work purposes.

Noted.

Stop saying noted.

Okay.

Then go now.

Come back.

Go to the storeroom

and bring the Bureau of Astrology something good.

Tell them

they have been working hard,

so it's their reward.

Okay.

Pick the best ones.

Okay.

Do you get my instruction or not?

Go now.

What's the matter?

His Majesty said a lot of things

and it confused me.

It's not that confusing.

His Majesty wants you to deliver them

the best astrological tools we have

so that Director Bai can go to the Ice Platform tonight.

He will then confess to her.

Commander Ling.

Where is Director Bai?

She has been researching

the new calendar and the new divination.

She doesn't have time for this.

The Bureau of Astrology

is very grateful for His Majesty's gifts.

We will register them and keep them properly.

And then, we'll inform Director Bai.

She will thank His Majesty in person once she is available.

I shall go.

Father.

That witch

does not respect us at all.

Father.

Father.

She is disrespecting you.

She isn't disrespecting me.

She is just disrespecting your sorry face.

Father.

I didn't provoke her.

It's all her fault.

Did I provoke her?

Did I provoke her then?

Voice the unfairness to His Majesty then.

Go back to your room now

and don't come out.

Leave!

Leave now!

Old Master.

Bugger off!

Yes, sir.

[Fan's Residence]

Second Young Master.

Sister-in-law?

Where are you going?

My brother did a good job hiding you.

No one could get hold of you.

I'm here for you.

For me?

It's inappropriate for a wife

to meet her husband's brother.

I heard the Great Steward has had a lot of trouble lately.

Official Bai of the Bureau of Astrology has given him

quite a headache.

You mean Bai Lu?

There are some problems.

Why do you care?

I might have a way to eliminate her.

Really?

Tell me.

For real?

This curse is dangerous

and fatal.

You'll know once you give it a try.

This is amazing, Sister-in-law.

Why did you tell me out of a sudden?

I'm telling you.

The Crown Prince position

and Fan's family business

belong to me.

Don't think you can have them.

I am your brother's wife.

If the Fan family prospers,

so will I.

Right.

If this plan works,

I will put in a good word for you in front of my old man.

Thanks, Second Young Master.

Now stop loitering around.

Ye.

Ignore him.

He's Yun Wen.

Leave it here.

All right.

Yun Wen.

Where do you want to go?

I still have one thing to do.

But that thing

cannot be done now.

I have to get ready first,

so I need to stay here for some days.

Sure, you can.

But you have taken a form now.

People will see you when you come and go.

I need to find a way

to give you a job here.

Before that,

you might need to go back to the mirror.

The Bureau of Astrology has too many slackers.

It is tiring to have to hide my genius from everyone else.

Not this again.

Are you drawing the Star Map?

What Star Map?

The one His Majesty asked you to do.

That one?

Any Star Map will do.

It's not like he truly wants to see it anyway.

All right.

Yun Wen.

It's time for you to help me.

You want to activate the time-traveling passage now?

Yes.

Look.

I have everything.

The Ice Crystals are not pure enough.

You will have insufficient

crystals.

They are not enough?

How many do I need?

Traveling to the past

is going against nature.

It will consume a lot of energy.

What should we do then?

Perhaps

I can set up a smaller array.

It doesn't require any Ice Crystals,

but you can only view the past.

You can't interact with it.

Okay.

Tell me

how far back you want to travel.

I want to go back to when Rui was on Ruogan Peak.

Rui.

Quiet.

We now see and hear

the images conjured by the array.

Don't make any noise

or do anything.

Otherwise, we'll be expelled from the array.

Wuyou.

You're injured.

You can't escape with me.

Princess Rui.

Let go of me.

I won't let go of you.

Yi Wuyou.

I really like you.

Please

don't forget me.

(How nice.)

(I can remain in Yebei forever now.)
