You know how they say that

Christmas is the most wonderful

time of the year

Well I never believed it.

That is not
until last Christmas.

Nothing prepared me
for the changes

that began only a year ago.

For awhile after my
Dad passed away.

It was my Mom and me.

And I was thinking I'd never
meet a Dad again.

That was until Nick
came into our lives.

Nick's cool and not to get

but they fell in love

on Christmas day.

He asked Mom to marry him.

But something else happened on
Christmas day too.

That was the day Nick became
Santa Claus.

You see Nick's dad had been
Santa Claus.

And it was time for him to
retire.

So on Christmas morning,

Nick took over the job.

Mom and me, we thought
that was great.

You see Santa Claus and Mrs.
Claus work as a team.

They spend the whole year
getting ready for Christmas.

Here's the problem,

if you are not a Claus or an Elf

You can't go to the North Pole

Which means Mom and
me couldn't go.

Until they're married.

Which meant Nick had to do it
all himself.

Which meant he was working day
and night.

Which meant he didn't have time
to get married.

Every time Nick and Mom

made plans to set a date

they had to postpone.

Now it's eleven
days until Christmas.

Mom still doesn't know if
they're going to be able to get

married in time.

For us all to have a family
Christmas

at the North Pole.
