A marching battalion...

How nice.

It is in this format that the partially mobilized
began to drive to Ukraine.

That is, in the best traditions of how the
grandfathers of the present occupants fought

- keep your rifle in your mouth, a tent cloak
and go forward to the Fortified district with

faith in Stalin.

I mean Putin.

Yes, you got that right - I didn't mention
tanks or armored personnel carriers or infantry

fighting vehicles or any other armored personnel
carrier, because they're practically non-existent.

In principle, this is quite expected.

Not so long ago I wrote about the fact that
in order to fully staff the Battalion tactical

group of recruits it is necessary to have
a huge amount of equipment.

About twenty Battalion tactical groups have
now been sent to Ukraine, but this cannot

be considered a battalion-tactical group.

They are exactly marching battalions.

After all, twenty Battalion tactical groups
not only include over 16 000 soldiers, but

also 220 tanks, 660 armored personnel carriers,
240 self-propelled howitzer and multiple rocket

launchers, 60 missile systems and electronic
warfare.

Where is it all?

Nowhere.

Meat.

Thousands of pieces of meat to plug the shortage
of personnel in the units that require restoration

of combat readiness.

But they require restoration of combat readiness
not only because of personnel losses, but

also because of equipment losses.

Only they practically do not give any equipment,
even in neighboring Belarus they have taken

it out of storage.

Such a meat grinder for the Russian occupants.

Poor logistics and a high level of corruption
are among the main reasons for the failure

of Russian troops in Ukraine.

British intelligence has found that contingents
of mobilized Russian reservists thrown into

Ukraine in the last two weeks have even worse
personal equipment than previously deployed

troops, whose supply leaves much to be desired.

The British defense ministry does not rule
out the possibility that new arrivals to the

front will have to buy their own body armor.

This is confirmed by the numerous complaints
in Russian social networks.

However, back in 2020 Russian officials assured
that 300,000 sets of Ratnik armor vests were

handed over to the Russian military.

Based on this information, the grouping of
troops currently in Ukraine should have been

fully supplied with personal protective equipment,
which is not the case today.

Everything was stolen, as it was in the USSR
and is also repeated in modern Russia.

I still don't understand those who are afraid
of Putin's army and his nuclear weapons, he

will use them anyway, just because he wants
to.

Or he won't.

The odds are 50-50.

But we should definitely not be afraid of
him and his army, let them be afraid themselves.
