Setting up payments before you set up your Amazon CDPR account, you need to first set up your payments.

Amazon pays through wire transfer and through check.

But if, like me, you're not living in the United States, it would be best to choose wire transfer

instead or a bank deposit.

Now, if you're outside the United States, you can choose to get paid through transfer wise or pioneer.

I have both.

But for my Amazon CDPR account, I chose pannier because it's an Amazon owned company.

Take note that Amazon does not transfer funds through PayPal.

Now, what are the pros and cons?

Well, transfer wise has cheaper transfer rates, but they do require an initial deposit of twenty dollars.

To set up your account.

You can use the twenty dollars as it is credited to your account and it's purely for activation purposes.

On the other hand, Pannier doesn't need any fee upfront.

And once you get the confirmation message in your email that your account is set up, then you're good

to go.

So how does it work?

Well, setting up an account with transfer wise or pioneer is like having a bank account in the United

States.

You are going to be given a US bank account with a routing number and an account number.

You can then link your partner or transfer wise account to another bank in your local area.

And once Amazon pays you, you can transfer the funds to your bank.

Please take note that Amazon CDPR only pays once the item you have sold gets shipped to the customer

and not at the time when it gets sold.

So it may take some time for sales to reflect on your dashboard.
