school shooting in North Carolina,

Rowan came to New York to partner
with the We've Had Enough organization

to begin her fight for gun reform.

You can be two miles from a gunshot
and still hear it.

That day,
even if you were nowhere near it,

I swear, you heard those bullets

But the 23 at my school
carried much farther.

And yet, it was quiet.

Quieter than it should have been.

We needed a riot
