With that the dream changed
because I am out of the ghetto.

Now all I want to do
is get out of the streets.

That's the dream now.

Take all that the streets
have given me and run.

But that's easier said than done.

Now I have enemies lurking in the dark.

There are cops one step behind me.

And there's a life sentence
in prison waiting for me.

All because I took advantage of
the opportunity available to me.

My chance to get myself out of poverty.

Accomplish what's been
preached to me all my life.
