I want to break down the concept of Evergreen designs

versus trending designs.

Now at a high-level evergreens are designs and really products

are niches that would sell year-round that aren't tied to

a specific time of year or date.

Trends on the other hand,

maybe tied to an event.

They may be tied to a time of year excetera.

So let's look at some examples.

These would be considered Evergreen Sherman.

Alexie's.

I like motorcycles and cats,

and maybe three people.

So people made by this shirt right after they get

a motorcycle or right after they get a cat but

that could be people at any time around around the

year.

So that's ever green.

The other one says peace love and beer which obviously

can sell year-round write the cheers and beers to my

thirty-eight years.

So clearly,

it's a birthday themed shirt.

But would this be in Evergreen?

Cuz it's time to birthday as well.

I mean people have birthdays every single day of the

year.

So yes,

this would still be considered an evergreen.

I hear two examples of Trends K.

These are both tied to the 2020 election case,

that was a time that came and it came to

pass.

The does it mean by the way that they won't

still sell after the election?

But the height of the sales almost assuredly will have

been during the election coverage and what not when it

was on,

you know mainstream news and being talked about at 1,

not.

Typically there's a strong correlation between either what's on like

mainstream television or do you know,

in general,

like what's being talked about what he called,

like the social public discourse on people's minds,

are more likely to buy a t-shirt of it.

Otherwise,

you know,

out of sight out of mind,

right?

Anyways,

these designs say like will you shut up man by

nearest 20/20 in the other one says I'm speaking 2020.

So again,

they're just tied two things events that were related to

the 2020 election.

And if you were to go spy on their best

seller rank history today.

You know,

but the election in the past you'll see that it

almost assuredly dropped off indicating Less sales.

Here's some other Trends,

just quick examples,

you know,

Halloween designs.

These will see a spike in demand,

of course,

in the month of October as it gets closer to

Halloween.

And then after October 31st,

you'll see then taper off.

And by the way,

I can,

I sell some Halloween designs that still make sales throughout

the year.

I don't really understand why,

I guess people love Halloween and want to celebrate it

year-round.

So the reason I shared that is to say,

you don't need to delete your Halloween designs just cuz

Halloween's in the past,

but I'll need training.

Designs are going to sell best during that time of

year.
