needed to be to ride it.

And she promised me that
when I was tall enough,

we would ride it together.

So, every day, I would measure
myself against that mark

until I was the right height.

But by that time, she
couldn't really get out

of bed anymore, not to
mention ride a roller coaster.

So I got pretty upset.

I didn't understand why she
couldn't keep her promises

and I thought she
didn't love me enough.

So I, uh, punched a hole
right through the wall

where that pencil mark was.

but I didn't know

I also didn't really
understand that the reason

she didn't keep her promise
