But when police arrived,
they found him covered in blood

with the murder weapon
right next to him.

There's no sign
of forced entry.

Reed's the only one
with the other key,

and when the detectives
discovered that the two of them

are exchanging angry emails

about Reed's
compensation package,

it's all over.

So those are the emails
that the blackmailer

wants you to throw out?

Yes. And his attorney

tried to toss it out
on a technicality.

I ruled it in.

But soon as it's presented
in court as evidence,

he will absolutely try
to object again

so that he can lay
the groundwork for an appeal.
