Welcome back.

In this chapter, we are going to look at object oriented programming, so we're going to see the importance

of object oriented programming, why it is used, and then we're going to look into how to use it.

So we're going to see how to use the different members, what members are.

Then we're going to also see what inheritance is and why inheritance is so useful, because we can reuse

quite a bit of code.

We can extend to functionality.

And that is super powerful, very useful when it comes to more complex applications, when it comes

to, in general, working together with other programmers or even using code that you can find online

from third party libraries.

All right.

So this is just the beginning of object oriented programming.

We're going to see what classes and objects are, how to use interfaces, what scope is.

And we're also going to look at data classes and a lot more.

So I hope you enjoy this chapter.

And then we're going to have one final chapter in which we're going to look at some more advanced kotlin

basics, so to speak, and then we can finally get back to developing Android apps.

So then we can finally use all of the knowledge and get started with it.

OK, so just work yourself through it and then we are going to build some cool apps.

So see you in the next video.
