And the message was just a very
convincing bit of play-acting.

A voicemail intended

to make you think that something
terrible was happening.

Because the plan, all along,

was for Bradley to frame
Connor for the attack.

Just before six o'clock that
evening,

Bradley contrived for he and Connor

to be in the clubhouse
office, arguing.

At the same time,

having purposely left
the raffle tickets in the office,

And in so doing, you ensured that
there was a witness

to the heated exchange
between Connor and Bradley

only minutes before the attack

to proceed with
the boldest part of the plan.

To implicate Connor

and make everyone think
the voicemail message was real,

Bradley needed to look like
he'd been attacked.

And so, with Bradley's
encouragement...

..and you struck him
across the head.

It was just meant to bruise him.

He wasn't meant to be
hurt by it - not seriously.

I thought he was all right.
I didn't have time to stay.

I had to go through with
the rest of the plan.

Which involved the final piece of
evidence incriminating Connor.

The weapon being left
in his own locker.

A locker which only
he had access to.

So how did you manage that?

We know from a receipt we found in
Bradley's possessions,

that he bought an identical padlock
to the one Connor used.

We also know that they both played
golf together that afternoon.

So I can only assume that
Bradley switched

Connor's padlock while
he wasn't looking.

Unwittingly, after he showered.

Connor closed that padlock,
assuming it was his own.

So that when you entered

the locker room later
that night, Holly,

you were able to open it using
the keys Bradley gave you,

place the bloodied golf club
inside the locker,

and then lock Connor's
own padlock on it.

Now, combined with the voice message

and Bradley's own testimony
when he regained consciousness,

the weapon in that locker would have
been more than enough

to ensure a GBH charge.

Which is what you wanted
all along. Right?
