Catalog upload in Business Manager

In this lesson I will teach
you how to upload the catalog

to the Facebook Business Manager

and configure the
platform to make it ready.

We see it.

To be able to upload our
catalog within Facebook Ads

and the e-commerce Manager
we have to take into account

we have to have the Business Manager.

If you don't have one, search
for Business Manager on Facebook,

you select the first result

and you will have to add your
company page and your advertising account.

Once you have them ready,
you just have to come here,

to this icon, the Business
Manager configuration icon,

and select Commerce Manager.

If you don't see it here,
it's usually all the way down.

We select it and here is a
button that says Add catalog.

We click on it and we
have several options.

In Google we can only
appear with electronic commerce,

however, on Facebook,
we can do dynamic ads

with other sectors, such as
travel, real estate, and these from here.

In our case, we
select Electronic Commerce.

Next.

And here you see that
we can select two options

what is uploading the
information of our products one by one

or in an automated way

or connect it with
another partner platform.

This is where, if we
have a CMS and have purchased

a Shopify, PrestaShop
or WooCommerce module,

we can connect it this way.

However, we,

as we have created
our google spreadsheet,

we will do it from here.

We select the account,
in this case, SantaFixie.

We put the name to it, we
give it to Create, See catalog,

and redirects us to this screen.

Here we just have
to go to Data sources.

Add items.

Surely, these options will sound
familiar to you from previous videos.

We can upload our products one by one,

through a list of data,

which is where we will upload our URL,

the partner
platform we have seen above,

it can also be done from
here, or using the Pixel,

so that Facebook

collect items
directly from your website.

This shape is a
little less controllable,

so I advise you this or the module.

Let's go ahead and

Perfect, as we
already have one created,

no template required,

that here gives us the
option of having a template,

we are going to give Next.

Here we use the URL of our catalog

and we can schedule updates,

just like we did in
Google's Merchant Center.

For me, every hour is excessive,

since I am not going to
change stock or prices so regularly.

Every day is fine,
weekly seems too much to me.

I select Every day.

I will do it when I
have little traffic,

which is at 05:00, for example.

And here I would select my time zone.

I give Next.

I call it SantaFixie Product Catalog

and I choose the
currency in which I will work

and in which is my catalog.

I give Upload and, while we wait,

it will take a while, depending
on the number of items you have,

I would like to give you a
little advice that, normally,

not usually configured,

but that seems to me
superinteresting and relevant.

If we go to the left menu, to Settings,

if you go to the Catalog part,

You will see that there
is an Image Cropping block.

If I give Edit, you will see
that the one that is default

is the first, however,

you see that the bike
does not look too good.

I find it super relevant

that Facebook and Instagram ads

look their best as
they are supervisory.

Therefore, I always
give Adjust ad image,

because you see that now
the bike can be seen perfectly.

This is a configuration that is
not usually taken into account,

because it's a bit hidden,

However, I find it super interesting,

and I think it should be a
little more visible on the platform.

Once we have finished,
we go to the Data sources,

to see if our products
have been uploaded correctly.

As you can see here, we see
that we have eighteen articles.

However, we only have two approved

and sixteen are rejected.

To see what
happened, click on View report

and it gives us exactly the error
that we have obtained with the upload.

This, as I mentioned
in a previous lesson,

it's because on Facebook

do not say
"in_stock", with the underscore,

rather it has nothing
between the two words.

We just have to go to the feed,

put "in stock", without the space.

And with "out_of_stock", the same.

We have to remove it
and give it a space.

I select everything and
include them. Very well.

We return to the Commerce
Manager and we click Upload.

Here we say Request update now.

Then, it will read the feed
again, with the changes made.

We wait a bit.

And, once it's over,

you will see how all
the approved articles are

and we can now use our feed.

Remember that, to create
Facebook and Instagram campaigns,

we need to have the Pixel connected,

so that conversions can be "tracked".
