Hi, I'm Mai Molina, a
specialist in digital marketing.

I am from Bilbao,
in the north of Spain.

As a child I hated
computers, in fact, in some class

they were blocked and
the teacher even told me

I had bad vibes with them.

I decided to study architecture

and the year I finished it
was very difficult to find a job

due to the brick crisis in Spain.

It happened that, at that time,
in a town where my parents live,

there was a story contest,
where the theme was to write

a travel plan for humanitarian purposes

And if you won, you could go to
that place and fulfill your plan.

I didn't know whether to introduce
myself or not, but I ended up doing it

and I presented my story

five minutes before the deadline.

To a great surprise, I
ended up winning that contest

and I went to Ukraine to
work in an orphanage for a while.

There I met some people who
introduced me to other people

that they offered me a job

in an international
e-commerce called Stylepit.

Here I took my first
steps in digital marketing,

keeping the Spanish account,

both the organic part and advertising.

Due to language difficulties,

I had to start looking for a life
by reading many websites and blogs

to be able to take that
work later to my campaigns.

Due to the strong pressure

I had to make profitable campaigns

and the little knowledge

that I then had
about digital marketing,

made me have to put
the batteries really fast

to be able to carry out the campaigns.

Due to the warlike conflict
that was then in the country,

I had to catch a train
that went from my city to Kiev

and from there a flight to Spain.

Once in Spain, I worked

in various international e-commerce,

related to the world of "fashion",

in Mallorca and in Barcelona.

Thanks to this experience,
and speaking several languages,

besides having worked for
different search engines,

I had the opportunity to
enter quite powerful companies,

like Mango and Inditex.

In these companies I was able to
run different advertising platforms

like Google, Yandex, or Facebook,

and different social
networks, such as Pinterest or TikTok.

I have also worked in
other types of companies,

like Hundredrooms,
Hockerty, or Intercom Companies.

In them I was also doing

"newsletter" and affiliate campaigns,

apart from all paid advertising.

Despite not having had any training

in digital marketing
and being self-taught,

studying on websites,
blogs, YouTube, etc.,

I have the facility to detect
valuable and relevant information.

One of the most interesting
websites to learn and where I learned,

It was on the Google
Ads community forum.

The advantage of this forum

is that you can ask your questions

and you will get answers from
people who already have accounts

and they tell their experience.

In fact, I started like
this and, after a while,

I was able to answer

to those questions
asked by other users.

In this way I could also
give back to the community

everything I had learned from her.

Thanks to being continuously

answering the questions of
other users with good quality,

Google gave me a differentiating status

called Featured User

and they invited me to do
some superinteresting trainings,

both in its offices in
Dublin, and in Silicon Valley.

Although I am no longer as
active in the Google Ads community,

I keep sharing all the
information that I can

on my social networks,
both on Twitter, LinkedIn,

like a "newsletter" that I have.

I am a professor in several
master's degrees in digital marketing

and speaker at some
congresses and events.

I think my passion for
teaching comes from never having

no training in digital marketing,

Well, I put myself
very well in people's shoes

who do not know digital marketing
and in this way I can convey to them

all the knowledge I've gained before.

I wanted to tell you
that it is not necessary

that you have advanced
studies in digital marketing.

Investigating a lot and
having desire and passion,

surely you can come up with
creating super advanced strategies.
