The power was back on.

(electric shocking)

(footsteps)

(branches cracking)

Blackouts I mean.

I mean, I remember the one in the 70s.

they had nothing

and I don't mean iPhone,
Lexus, and food-stamps nothing,

I mean nothing.

So whenever there was a
sale on those canned goods,

she overbought, waiting
for the next depression.

Short of it is, I became a
little bit like my grandmother.

Sure, I got canned goods
and rice, and whatnot.

Got a whole closet full downstairs.

But in my room, in my closet,

I have a few goods too.

Sort of like an homage to my grandmother.

Whenever I get those brown shoes,

I see those cans and I see my grandmother.

have to worry about food?
