at about a 90 degree angle.

Drop your head, relax your neck.

Bring your chest through
your arms, exhale.

The idea is to push your
heels back as hard as possible.

Feel the lengthening through
your neck forward, your heel back.

Bring your knees up and
wrap your arms around them

and sway back and forth,
massaging your low back.

I do believe in spiritual practices

and having faith in the universe,

It's like spirit,
God, whatever you want to call it.

There's no wrong way.

So, um, we're going
to be going into an original

and authentic Mongolian yurt,

and this is about purifying
anything that's just not

good for the soul, so to say.

I think the idea of this trip

was to explore a little bit outside
of all of our comfort zones.

That's incredible.

This is the Mongolian yurt.

There's something about that

that can open you up
to other parts of yourself

that maybe you didn't
even know were there.

The first thing I want to do is I
just want to center and anchor in,

because we can have
external obstacles,

but if we're peaceful
in our mind with it,

it's not an obstacle for us.

This sweat lodge is basically that.

We're clearing out
internal obstacles

that would keep us from
our joy or peace or happiness.

Everyone just kind of sit
in what I call a dignified way.

Kind of upright,
crown towards the sky.

You're tapping your source.

That which has
always been with you.

That which can never leave you.

I personally didn't have
a connection with the shaman.

I was trying to feel what
she was getting us to feel,

but I couldn't sense that.

The spirits are always with us.

So now that we
are attuning to them,

we can start attuning
to their wisdom,

their medicine for this moment.

So, this is a talking stick.

It's basically a
rose quartz crystal,

and it's got the different
colored chakras here.

When this is being held,
the person holding it gets to speak

and that means everybody,

their hearts are open,
their ears are open,

and they're listening.

I'm a huge fan of crystals
and healing stones.

I think they make a huge difference

and can help someone through
a lot of different things.

I'm excited for this process.

I really needed something like this

to get me refocused and recentered,

and more in touch with
my spirituality and stuff.

I went through a really
intense breakup in February.

It's okay. - Obviously
stuff's coming up for me,

because I know I haven't
fully worked through a lot of that,

but, um, yeah, I just...

it feels like everything's
been whirling around

and I just need to get
more grounded in myself.

That's a great aspiration.

The truth is seared
in our hearts, right?

So when it's spoken,
there's this yummy,

When you're holding
all of everything in,

and for someone to just be like,

just let it go, let it be"

feels like such a relief sometimes.

There's something

and I don't even know
how to walk through it.

how to vocalize it.

You're such an ancient soul,

and you really want
to know the truth,

and you will know the truth.

So, just find yourself completely
open and accepted in your heart.

Just feel all the energies
flowing through you

like waves of energy
just washing through you,

closing anything that doesn't
serve you at this moment.

There is some soft
forgiveness that you have.

There is some shame,

but all that shame
is is a soft judgment.

Have I stepped out of line?

While the shaman was trying
to heal me and expand my mind,

I slowly started to get it.

Just let go of everything.

You don't have to hold
onto judgment, shame, blame.

In that moment I could see

that I've really got
to stop beating myself up.

How about the greed of liking?

I'm living two
lives simultaneously.

The hedonist and the family man.

If I can keep these
two worlds separate,

honoring both my real family

and my Snctm family,

everything will be okay.

I'll be able to have
my cake and eat it too.
