and suffering that is inflicted

upon us by other's
unintentionally,

or even worse, intentionally?

Or the pain and suffering
that we inflict on ourselves

because we find
ourselves in a rut

and we can't seem
to find our way out.

I don't presume to know
God's reasons or thoughts,

but I do know I can depend
on His promises of comfort,

of strength, of hope,
faith and forgiveness.

That's because I have always

but God's like the water bearer.

Nechelle, I tell you what,
believed with her whole heart,

that it's not the end,

but rather, it's
a new beginning.

Nechelle was the
sister I never had.

She was so full of life and joy.

And she had a way of spreading
that joy to everyone she met.

Even Old man Crabs would
smile when she walked by.

She was a light that
could not be hidden.

She made you feel
as though everything

was gonna be alright.

They say faith can
move mountains,

I saw faith in Nechelle like
those written in the Bible.

She judged no one.

But, what most of
you don't know is,

I wouldn't be here today
if it wasn't for Nechelle.

She saved me from myself.

Um, I brought some papers

just so I wouldn't totally
loose my train of thought.

Um ,

when Momma Cooper first
asked me to speak,

Um, I was speechless,
and upset, and confused.

And then I thought about what
Nechelle would have said,

would have wanted me to do.

And so, I prayed and "gave it
to God" like she always said.

Um, I know that she
wouldn't want us to be sad,

but be thankful for the
time that we had together.

And that these tears would
not be tears of sadness,

but of joy for
knowing each other.
