in the Shikoku region.

in this old castle town.

And he executed those tactics.

He trained the Japanese cavalry to defeat
the Cossacks, the world's strongest cavalry.

in Japanese Haiku and Tanka.

He became the founder of new literary
forms, Shiki Masaoka, the poet.

He then moved to Tokyo.

He entered another government
