And today we will meet with six invisible friends.
And this friends is actually everywhere.
So and the name of this friends is Simple machines.
Simple machines is devices, which can help us to change direction or amount of force,
which we can use for move something.
And now let me introduce all simple machines, one by one.
So first one is lever.
So lever can be used for measure something.
For example, in scales.
We can put one cargo and another cargo in opposite side.
We can check the weight.
Or lever can be used for lift something, something heavy.
A good example of lever is scissors.
Here we have two levers.
The next one is wheels
and axle.
Wheels has a round shape and axle can connect it together.
So wheels can roll and easily move the things.
We can find wheels in the car, is the bicycle, even in our chairs and tables.
So wheels is very good assistant for our life.
The next one is pulley.
Pulley can help us to lift things.
Pulley contain wheel and rope.
So with pulley we can lift, we can easily lift, very heavy the things.
One more simple machine is inclined plane.
Inclined plane based on plane or ramp with one side which is lifted.
So inclined plane can help us to move objects with less force.
For example, like this or to another direction.
The next simple machine is wedge.
Wedge used to put between two things to separate them.
The good example of wedge is axe or knife.
So with knife, we can easily cut our food and separated to different small pieces.
Because without wedge, if you can use just our hands or
fingers - it will be really hard.
And the last simple machine is screw.
Screw can help us and convert the rotational motion into linear motion.
Screws is a very good friend if you want to connect something
together and hold it for a long time.
So all these simple machines can help us to build a very complex
and complicated mechanisms.
And we can find these simple machines everywhere: inside our
car, rocket and maybe spaceship.
