I don't have any issues
with having a personality.

I like to maintain and to
be strong for my community

pressure of representing

the French Canadian culture

went through the exact same

kind of situation

doing sketch comedy,

and so I have

about being in front
of an audience.

little nowhere towns,

this art form of drag

We owe so much to her,
and people like her,

I think our generation,
and the one after,

we have to take the time
to get to know our elders

because they are
the ones who paved the way,

and the real trailblazers.

that gave us the rights

and the freedom to be
our openly queer selves,

so we have to make sure
that we're always giving thanks

that inspired them
with their drag?

When I first started,
it was Lady Bunny.

It was the first time that I
was able to see a larger queen,

so it was like, "Oh...

"It's not only for,
you know, skinny bitches."

When I first started to
do drag, I was really bigger,

but I did embrace
the fact that I was bigger,

and I was performing in undies,
and the crowd loved it.

I think it's one of the main
reasons I became someone

in Montreal because
I was fearless.

It's all about
having confidence.

While we're
on the topic of body,

it did come up on
the runway last week, Lemon.

It's always hard for me
to be the one to complain

about this because I know
that a lot of people would die

to have the body that I have.

But you have two
worlds combining to make you

feel like shit about your body.

You have the dance world
and the drag world.

Yeah, truly, and like
the dance world is literally

just like you stand
staring at yourself in a mirror

that spans a full wall
for 12 hours a day,

and all you do
is correct what's wrong.

I spent
my entire childhood

obsessed with
what I looked like,

and it felt sometimes that
everyone was obsessed with it.

It's always been, "You don't
have the body of a male dancer.

"You don't have
a raging six-pack.

"You don't have
big enough biceps.

"You don't have this.
You don't have that."

There's no right or wrong.

Bodies can be
as different as you are

because we're all different,
at the end of the day.

We should just embrace
our uniqueness.

I've worked so hard
to love the skin that I'm in.

I think you can serve
101 different silhouettes,

and 101 different shapes,

and still be
beautiful and powerful.

No matter what size
you are, or what colour you are,

that's what makes you unique,
so you have to live with it

and be fearless.

That pretty
much says it all, Ilona.

So you were playing
the sad sack.

I don't know if
you gave us that.

I don't think that a sad sack
is necessarily a petulant child

who is scolding the audience.

I liked
where you started.

You were very like,
"My parents don't get me,"

and then it just
never got funny.

You just got angry, and it was
kind of uncomfortable to watch.

I do love
this look, though.

I love the silhouette.

I would have
loved to have seen the stones

all the way down,
but like clinging to your body.

I think that would
have been sick.

We completely
lose your neck with the choker.

You could have taken
the bottom off those earrings

and just worn
those little studs.

I'm also not a fan of the hair.

It's a little Dame Edna meets
George Washington for me.

Jeffrey, what did you
think of the pageant princess?

I love the character.
I love the accent.

You had me laughing.

Your improv, I don't
know where it comes from.

Yeah, you were very
manic and very like robotic,

and scary, and psycho,
and I enjoyed it.

My favourite part was
actually you walking off stage

bumping into everything.

as well, and you corseted, so...

I actually had to think
back to who you were

because I couldn't remember.

It's stunning.

You came out,
and you owned the runway.

You took every chance you got
to make sure you were being seen

from all angles.

the subtle makeup.

I don't think I've ever
seen you paint this soft.

The hair, I love
what you were going for,

but I just felt like it could
have been a little more slick.

I would have loved
to have seen a black earring,

and not a navy, just to pick up
on the black in the dress.

What did you
think of Miss Demeanor?

A little one-note.

It was the same
kind of thing as Ilona.

You just kind of did
one thing the entire time,

and just stomped around,
and were just like

staring at people.

Like you can be mean and angry
because we get that's kind of

part of the character,
but you also need to be funny

because it's
supposed to be funny.

You played small.

It was reminiscent
of the Snatch Game,

just kind of was flat,

and I was disappointed

because I know that you
can do better than that.

I know you're
a new mother and all,

but now you've gotta
work ten times harder.

This gown,
however, it's beautiful.

If I went to a drag pageant,
this is the dress

I would expect to
see from somebody.

And that colour on you,
that blue is like...

I just thought that
you could have held yourself

with a little bit
more confidence.

Even the way
you're standing right now,

you're kind of like...

That's a little better.

Remember, this competition
is a marathon.

It's not a sprint,
and you're so close to the end,

the most likeable performance

in the pageant.

I am so impressed
with Lemon this week.

Her performance
in the Miss Loose Jaw Pageant,

she was hilarious.

Lemon, for me,
was the star of the runway.

I was so taken
by her immediately.

Her
runway was genius.

To take the theme
and completely conceptualize it

in a way that nobody
else thought of,

talk about a smart cookie,
a smart lemon cookie.

So, what did you
all think about Rita Baga?

Her performance
in the pageant wasn't

super memorable for me.

Rita was just so
delicious on the runway tonight.

I wish that her hair
had been a little better.

She came out on that
runway and I was just like,

"Wow," just blown away.

She was just spectacular, how
she walked out, owned the stage.

You can
just tell when somebody likes

what they're wearing
because she was feeling herself.

She was like
a glamazon Zamboni gracefully

smoothing out the whole stage.

because Priyanka,

she could win this competition,
but lately the confidence level
