Sounds of us arguing? I'm sure you can hear it.

- Episode 6 - Where in the world is a husband that would sit still knowing his wife is having an affair?

That night, I really wanted to find her in her tracks. So, I went to her studio.

But this woman was away from the studio again.

I waited just in case.

Maybe she had a fight with that jerk and cried. Her makeup was a mess when she showed up.

I asked her. Are you having an affair? You want to die?

Geez, yeah, our voices got louder and I did hit her once.

But that is all.

I had fire in my stomach and ran out of the studio.

Whether the place caught fire or whatever happened after I left...

I really have no idea.

But... the police and Prosecutors' Office jerks say...

that I killed Jae Hee.

Stop crying.

Stop! How dare a man cry?

I knew that woman would ruin your life one day.

Mom, get me out of here. These guys are so scary in here.

Don't be scared. People live here, too.

I learned everything about the world in here while serving my three year sentence.

Mother!

Don't worry.

I didn't give birth to you at a young age just to take care of a son who's sitting in jail.

You just tell me who she slept around with.

I'll catch him myself and get you out of this sewer.

[Conviction]

[Jung's Hair Shop]

[Cha Seon Ho]

Don't worry. We need to further investigate,

but it doesn't look like it was your mother.

I'm not ready to talk yet.

Let's discuss the details when we meet.

00716, Na Yoon Jeong.

00716, Na Yoon Jeong.

Yes, did you find it?

How can I know where that place is with only a picture of a tree?

Did you go to Kim Yeong Dae's hometown?

I went, but he's not there. Just give up.

There will be a thousands of trees like that in Korea.

I got it.

00716.

Baek Jae Hee?

You were quite surprised, weren't you?

Of course, you would be.

I'm sure everyone thought we were a loving couple.

People think Chang Hyeon is a good guy.

But no. That person is just a monster.

A monster. One day,

He'll end up killing me.

But his wife is different.

She is warm.

Sweet. Am I crazy?

Should I let you know a secret?

A few days ago, I made a scented candle of love's symbol.

I didn't give that to my husband. Guess who I gave it to.

Someone you know.

Se Yeon, just a moment.

Kim Yeong Dae is alive!

He's hiding faking his own death.

Then bring him to me.

I want to ask him why he did what he did and make me meet a trash like him!

Bring him to me.

I got it. I will catch him and bring him to you, so let me know where this place is?

Did you go through my house?

This photo was in Kim Yeong Dae's office, too.

Kim Yeong Dae took you there, right? Where is this?

Kim Yeong Dae is a scary guy. If he finds out you were paid the insurance money, you'll...

I'm worried for you, Se Yeon!

You can't go in there.

Let go!

It's okay.

Who is it?

Tell me! If not my mother, who is it?

Son Chang Hyeon's mother, Na Yoon Jeong.

Son Chang Hyeon's mother... Baek Jae Hee's mother-in-law?

No, that person... to my father... why?

Before the voice recording disappeared, that woman came to our hospital looking for a CCTV recording.

Then what are you doing? You need to report her!

The witness who will testify that she's the culprit... You know who that is.

The police still won't believe what he says.

Then what can we do?

We need to find more solid evidence.

This photo was in Kim Yeong Dae's office, too.

Kim Yeong Dae took you there, right? Where is this?

Are you not going to eat?

You can leave first. I don't have an appetite.

Yeah, she'll only get sick if she eats when she doesn't feel like it. Let's go.

Okay.

That woman... is not my wife.

Hello.

I was just about to contact you.

I had forgotten about the evidence that I had about my husband's affair

I wonder that is?

An important evidence that can prove your husband's affair.

A scented candle.

- A scented candle? - Yes.

The mistress gave him a scented candle.

How can you tell he's was having an affair just by that?

I can tell when I see it.

You just have to find it for me.

Why don't you look for it yourself?

I looked for it at all possible places except for one.

His office.

What kind of special candle is this?

There's something inside the candle.

A lover's symbol.

...it's not that great... let's not go.

Geez... Who's the sloppy one...

Who lost this USB?

Didn't a student drop it?

Maybe?

Take a look, then you will find out.

It's mine!

It is mine. Please give it back.

When I come here I feel peaceful.

And I feel in control.

Do you know where this is?

I don't know.

- Hello. - I don't know.

[Twin's Supermarket]

Excuse me, I have a question.

Do you know this person?

His name is Kim Yong Dae.

Yong Dae? I heard this name before.

Let me take a look.

I don't know that person.

Oh my, Yong Dae Kim is Hwang's grandson.

And Mi Jung's son.

Is that right?

Then this person?

That's right. That's him.

He looks the same as when he was young. Are you his wife?

Ah, yes.

Did this person live around here?

Well, he didn't live here permanently.

He stayed here temporarily with the Hwang's.

Their daughter died of fatal illness.

Their son-in-law left him with his grandma while he went to look for work.

Wow... this picture was taken by the old tree.

Yes, a few years ago.

Oh my, the little kid sat by the bench everyday

Desperately waiting for his dad.

When the sunset, his grandma would take him home.

One day, as I was walking by, I told him

Hey kid, the sun is setting soon. Go home.

Then the kid replied

When I grow up, I'm going to make a lot of money.

From then on, he didn't wait for his dad anymore.

Well, I guess it all turned out ok for him.

Because of this childhood memory

He brought his wife and took pictures with her.

What's the matter? You even asked to have coffee together.

What is this?

Is this not yours?

Please be honest.

About what?

The USB. Did you send it to me?

Eh? What are you talking about?

You know what is inside the USB right?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

The blackbox video inside...

Fine, let me ask you this then: did someone aside from you see the video?

I don't even watch it, who'll be interested in watching?

Then, when you sold your car to Teacher Bo Gum, did you erase the USB?

Why would you erase it when it automatically erases...

Could that be the reason?

I think it was about a month ago or so?

There was an accident in that parking lot.

I removed the USB because someone wanted to see it.

Was that the day after you left your car at the school?

Yes, that's right. They returned it to me the next day after checking everything.

I was curious about the accident so I saw the video but everything was deleted.

Who was it?

Teacher Min Gyo.

Thank you.

How do you feel? Better now?

Yes, a bit.

Thank goodness.

Your symptoms makes me suspicious about something.

What about?

I'm going to cut to the chase.

Jae Hee's video recordings are missing.

I've been locked up in this hell hole for 2 years. What do you want me to do about it?

Your mother took it.

And the culprit who killed Teacher Min Jae,

I found out who it is.

I found out a lot over the couple of days.

So don't try to hide it, and just tell me.

Of course, even if you don't tell me,

I'll find out a lot more stuff next time.

Maybe, you might even hear that your mom's been arrested.

So... just let it all out.

Don't waste time unnecessarily.

Did he spill the beans?

Not a word.

We wasted our time.

No, this is the beginning.

We threw a bait. We have to see if he bites.

Hello?

Mom.

It's Eun Soo.

There's a scented candle that the other woman gave my husband.

There's something in it.

The sign of the other woman.

Eun Soo, did you stop by the prison by chance?

How did you know?

I visited Jae Hee's husband, Song Chang Hyeon.

Right? Chang Hyeon is here, huh?

Are you at the prison?

Yeah. I followed her and here I am.

Who?

You tell me first.

Did you find out who took the scented candle?

Yeah. Song Chang Hyeon's mother.

Chan Hyeon's mother?

You know the person who opened up a hair salon in Jae Hee's studio?

She's Song Chang Hyeon's mother. Jae Hee's mother-in-law.

Daebak, really?

The recording of my consultation with Jae Hee disappeared and she's behind it.

What's with that woman?

I called because I had something to ask you. Awhile ago at Jae Hee's studio...

You made a scented candle with lover's symbol in it?

- Why? - You said you gave it to our teacher.

Eun Soo.

What are you talking about? I just gave it as a gift. What sign?

It wasn't for that?

Hwa Young, I'm driving now. I'll call you later.

Look at her... Something strange is going on.

I didn't come for a visit. I have some questions.

The lady who just left, could you tell me who she visited?

I can't tell you due to our regulations.

You can tell me a name, at least.

I can't.

- Next please. - Yes.

If that old tree would be a good memory...

About 10 years ago, Yong Dae's dad hung himself on that tree.
