[Novoland: The Castle in the Sky S2]

[Episode 25]

Greetings, Your Majesty and General Yun.

Should we really do this?

We'll be alright.

Let's have a look at His Lordship.

Qi Zhen Xian, you're really lucky.

After so many days，

why hasn't he woken up?

He's lucky enough to stay alive.

The poison on the arrow is deep in the skin now.

I've already tried my best.

Does anyone else can cure the poison?

There's one divine doctor named Han Qing Han in Tuojiang.

He can cure all kinds of poison.

But he never steps out

of Tuojiang.

Then let's go to him.

It will affect our military,

you mustn't reveal it to anyone.

Yes.

Tuojiang is too far away from here,

and there're plenty of hidden guards from Nanyu City.

I'm afraid...

I'll do it secretly.

It's only me

and four bodyguards who protect him.

You must be more careful.

Take good care of yourself.

Wait for my return.

Here.

Let's drink.

I'm fine, I'm good.

When the day Du Qian Yin came,

I should've expected the ending today.

You'll...

find a much better man.

Much better man?

Brother Yun is the one.

He doesn't like me,

which is bad of him.

Lian Yi.

I told you, I'm fine.

Oh, right.

You've passed the test in Wuxiang Camp,

and become the general.

I've been too busy to congratulate you.

I specially ordered someone to make this sword.

Its blade is like frost, and it roars like a dragon.

I name it as Ru Che Sword.

It's yours now.

I hope you use it

to accomplish our dreams of Silver Wings Cavalry.

Punish the evil and uphold justice.

What a good sword.

Thank you.

Don't mention it.

Oh, right.

Do you feel that...

something strange happened during the war in Lin Chi?

Yes.

Du Qian Yin insisted following us,

and was poisoned suddenly before General Yun departed.

Also what His Lordship said before he fainted.

Only you can fight with Du Qian Yin now.

It seems Lord has found out

something is wrong with Du Qian Yin.

Master also told me...

she once tried to plot against me during the test.

Be more alert.

I'll look for some food.

Yes.

I already knew Du Qian Yin

is an incomprehensible woman.

There's something I must investigate thoroughly.

Lu Ren Bing passed away at here.

After he's dead

no one has entered the house anymore.

Is there something wrong?

It's too much of a coincidence.

Lu Ren Bing never got to say a word...

before he fell on this steel knife here.

It's wax.

I got it.

Someone purposely dripped the wax on the floor...

to let Lu Ren Bing stepped on it,

and even calculated the position of the weapon.

Maybe Du Qian Yin

was Lu Ren Bing's contact.

Possibly.

It's you?

I know you'll be coming,

I've waited here for quite some time.

You...

Shouldn't I be unconscious now?

That's right.

If I didn't do so,

how are you going to fall into my trap?

I'm guessing you won't be kind on me...

after you failed to kill me in Lin Chi.

You know it very well that

I won't let you go this time.

There's one thing I don't understand.

Why do you have to take revenges on me...

even if I've helped you every time?

Only when you're dead,

Brother Yun will take over.

Indeed.

Madam Xuan Ji wants to control Yun Mu Yang,

the easiest way is to get you married with him.

But in the end, this great plan failed.

When Yun Mu Yang is back, he'll know that...

I've killed you after you failed to assassinate me.

He won't believe you.

So what?

You're a dead body anyway at that time.

I can blame anything on you.

Moreover,

you did secretly contacted with Wei Yuan Ting.

I didn't frame you for that.

Do you really think you can kill me?

Hilarious.

The death has come upon you,

yet you still think that you stand a chance?

What have you done?

When I backed off just now,

I've casted the halisteretic poison on you.

Don't you like to pretend to be paralysed?

Let's see how does it feel when it comes real.

How did you know?

Hong Lian.

Does these shoes belong to His Lordship?

That's right. It's strange.

He never get down from bed,

yet there's mud on his shoes.

From that moment on, I knew that you faked it.

I should have eliminated you from the beginning.

It's too late.

In the underground palace

we both couldn't do it,

then I'll grant your wish today.

To hell you go!

My Lord.

My Lord, what has happened?

My Lord!

His Lordship and four brothers

were killed by the Thin Yan Ling Knife.

Their wounds deepened from left to right.

It means the murderer is a left-hander.

Before His Lordship died,

he wrote 'Qi' on the floor.

It's Mu Qi.

The knife belongs to Mu Qi.

His right arm was chopped off by His Lordship.

He did that to take revenge on His Lordship.

Someone who uses right hand all this while...

how he trains his left hand

to such powerful in just a few days?

Even we didn't know that

His Lordship called for doctor.

How did Mu Qi know about it?

You knew about

His Lordship's plan to Tuojiang, right?

I think the truth is obvious now.

Lian Yi, I swear to you

that I will investigate this case,

so that His Lordship gets peace in the heaven.

That's right! Chop off Mu Qi's head!

Now we still have one important issue.

The Cavalry can't live without a leader.

So who should lead us

to fight Nanyu City?

As for now,

we should elect a new commander.

General Yun has high prestige

and has achieved great in wars.

He's a suitable candidate.

We support General Yun!

He is indeed a great candidate.

But during the war,

His Lordship appointed Ah Che as the general,

only second to His Lordship.

So I...

That was just a matter of expediency.

Miss Feng has achievements in the war,

but she's just a beginner.

can she convince all?

How can you talk here as an outsider

to convince them?

You...

She's the Golden Winged Empress.

Of course she has the rights to comment on it.

Ah Che has golden wings too.

Du Qian Yin's golden wings are fake!

-Fake? -Really?

Calm down, everyone.

No matter who's real and fake,

there'll never be a conclusion.

It's meaningless to debate about it anymore.

What's important is,

we both are now in the Silver Wings Cavalry...

fighting the Nanyu City.

I know that I'm inexperienced

to lead the Cavalry.

The commander position...

should belong to General Yun.

But if one day,

if someone plots against the Cavalry,

no matter Golden Wings or Silver Wings,

will be punished equally using the military way.

Brother Yun,

since Miss Feng has said it,

for the people,

you should take this responsibility.

Please accept the commander seal.

Please accept the commander seal!

Thanks for having faith in me

to lead the Silver Wings.

I'll definitely lead the charge

to punish the evil...

and uphold justice!

Greetings, My Lord!

Mother, why are you here?

Silver Wings Cavalry is getting out of control recently.

How can I not be here?

Tell me, how did Qi Zhen Xian die?

Mu Qi took revenge on her.

Really?

Then why did Wei Yuan Ting change his arrangement...

at Lin Chi all of a sudden?

Who leaked the news to him?

Mother, I followed your order...

letting Qi Zhen Xian attack Lin Chi...

to suppress Wei Yuan Ting.

But I didn't expect Qi Zhen Xian was suspicious...

and found out my identity after his spy investigated me.

Get up first.

Yes.

Actually, I feel that

the death of Qi Zhen Xian...

is more beneficial to us than he's alive.

Qi Zhen Xian is ambitious yet greedy.

He blackmailed us many times,

like a wolf that never appreciates.

He'll turn against us one day.

With so much being said,

did you really do it for me,

or for yourself?

I ordered you to kill Yun Mu Yang,

why didn't you do so?

You're reluctant?

Yes.

But I'm not only doing it for myself.

Mother, Yun Mu Yang now

is the commander of Silver Wings Cavalry,

and he's faithful to me.

Isn't it better if I convince him...

to serve you together?

Faithful?

Don't you ever forget...

your Brother Yun loves

the soft and kind Du Qian Yin.

If he realises what you've done,

do you think he'll still love you?

He will.

He said he'll be with me no matter what my past is.

You're being too naïve.

Have you forgotten what happened to me?

All the men are cruel and heartless.

He's not the ordinary man,

he's Yun Mu Yang.

You're being too obsessed!

Mother, Feng Ru Che's power...

has risen in the military. Only when...

I'm married with Yun Mu Yang

and turn him into one of ours,

the rumours will end.

Mother.

I'm begging you.

I'm begging you.

Just believe me once.

I'm really doing it for you, mother.

Wei Yuan Ting's influence is growing bigger now.

It's better to have an ally not an enemy.

Then find a suitable time and ask him out.

I'm going to talk to him personally.

Thank you, mother.

Thank you, mother.

Qian Yin, we were born in troubled time.

We can only depend on others' whims and pleasures,

twist and turn to survive until now.

Not only you don't deserve your own life,

so don't I.

I got it.

The last time when you were this upset...

was when we just met Mister Xue.

His Lordship was assassinated,

the Silver Wings Army lost in both...

Yan City and Lin Chi.

The morale of the troops is sinking low.

If you want to boost the troops,

I do have an idea.

What is it?

Marry me.

The marriage of Silver Wings Commander and Golden Winged Empress,

can be a

heart-stirring great news.

From now on, Silver Wings Cavalry...

will be the real destiny

and what the people favor.

What's wrong?

You're not willing to marry me?

You once said that...

Marrying you is my wish.

But His Lordship just passed away.

We haven't found the murderer.

Isn't Mu Qi the murderer?

What Ru Che and Lian Yi suspected that day...

actually makes sense.

So you're suspecting me now?

That's not what I meant.

I believe you.

Then what's still stopping you?

I'm afraid if we get married too soon,

people will spread rumours that...

you're trying to secure the Empress title.

I don't want them to say so.

But I don't care.

I don't want to be Golden Winged Empress.

After we conquer Nanyu City,

behead Wei Yuan Ting and Xuan Ji.

Why do we have to kill Xuan Ji?

She's just a state instructor.

Xuan Ji and Wei Yuan Ting...

both are the culprits...

to Lanzhou and its people.

They're no different.

Qian Yin.

Don't be sad.

His Lordship just passed away,

if you don't mind a simple wedding,

we can get married immediately.

Sure.

Being able to marry you...

is the happiest thing ever in my life.

How is it, Master?

What have you seen?

My power isn't effective,

I can only see that the murderer was stabbed by Lord Qi.

And also some powder.

It's the halisteretic poison...

cast to him before the murderer killed him.

His Lordship was in a comma,

why halisteretic poison was used?

Maybe the murderer wanted to prevent unexpectancy.

Now we know that

the murderer's shoulder is wounded.

I feel it's Du Qian Yin.

Why did she urgently

recommend Brother Yun as the commander?

His Lordship just died,

and she wants to get married now.

She's afraid that...

you grabbed the Empress title.

Since you knew...

the truth of Ren Bing's death,

why didn't you expose her that day?

I didn't own a solid proof.

If we argued in front of the public,

our army would turn into a chaos,

which is not beneficial to us.

Too bad Brother Yun is always siding her.

As long as we find evidence before their marriage,

we still stand a chance.

Ah Che.

Are you alright?

I'm fine.

I'm just exhausted these days.

I've told you...

that you're hurt now, don't overwork.

It's fine, I've even been to war.

Don't worry.

Ah Che.

The government is attacking Wu Ling.

Their leader is seeking refuge from us.

His general would like to meet you.

Me?

He said he's one of your old friends.

You are...

Dang Dang?

What're you doing?

I betrayed Your Majesty back then.

I don't deserve to live.

I can only choose to die.

Why do you still wait until today?

I hated to be used...

by the witch Xuan Ji.

I wanted to take revenge on her,

so I joined the Miao Army.

Days ago, Wu Ling was being conquered.

I fled all the way...

and heard of Your Majesty's stories

on the war in Lin Chi.

Xuan Ji again.

Before the Seven Star Blessing Ceremony,

she abducted my mother...

and forced me to frame you in the palace.

But she promised me...

that she wouldn't hurt you.

She just wanted to...

pull you down from the throne.

I was being too foolish.

You were not the only foolish people.

Forget it.

No.

I've troubled Your Majesty.

Just kill me.

Just kill me.

Just kill me.

Just kill me!

Do you really wish to die?

Yes.

I'll grant your wish.

All the previous incidents in Nanyu City,

I've written them off with the past...

after the slash just now.

Get up.

Your Majesty, I...

You...

Get up.

Your finger...

I chopped it off.

When we swore as brothers,

we had a pinky swear.

I don't deserve it.

What's the use of chopping your finger?

You have to follow me to war field

and be my General Bai,

then only we're square then.

Got it?

You...

You're still willing to believe me?

We promised not to change in 100 years.

Now you're against me after just a while?

Your Majesty is kind to me.

I swear...

from today on...

my life belongs to Your Majesty.

Stop calling Your Majesty.

I'm sorry, Boss.

General Yun,

Winged Empress is here.

There she is, the bride is here.

She's so beautiful.

Qian Yin, you look beautiful today.

We'll start the ceremony when the time has come.

Alright, anything you say.

Your Majesty,

you look great today.

I'm sorry. I didn't do it on purpose.

It's alright.

Just be careful.

Yes.

Why haven't General Feng and Lian Yi here yet?

I've asked for them,

but they're not in their rooms.

What about my brother?

He's not there too.

Forget it, let's not wait for them.

Let's begin.

Yes.

The time has come, let the ceremony begins.

Heavens on earth, today, I, Yun Mu Yang...

will marry Du Qian Yin as my wife.

We're now of one mind, nothing will tear our love apart.

We will not leave each other, sharing both joy and sorrow.

Bow to the heaven and earth!

Wait!

You can't do that.

What nonsense is this?

General Yun.

If we can prove Du Qian Yin...

has murdered His Lordship,

will you still marry her?

I've witness to prove that,

Mu Qi can't possibly murder His Lordship.

Everyone.

I'm Bai Dang Dang, general of Miao Army.

The 7th day of last month,

which is also the day your lord was assassinated,

Mu Qi brought his army...

and conquered our Miao Army in Wu Ling.

Unless there was a clone of himself,

or else how did Mu Qi get thousand miles away...

to assassinate Qi Zhen Xian?

I know you. You were Feng Ru Che's follower...

in Nanyu City.

Not only Dang Dang can prove it.

The whole Miao Army can be my witness.

I believe you.

But this only proves that...

someone else actually killed His Lordship

What is that with Qian Yin?

Have you forgotten...

the word 'Qi' written by His Lordship?

It wasn't referring to Mu Qi,

but a part of the name 'Qian'.

She's the one who murdered His Lordship,

Du Qian Yin!

Nonsense!

Even if Mu Qi isn't the murderer,

it can be anyone from Mu family

taking revenge for Mu Qi.

Just because of the coincidence of a word,

how dare you frame Du Qin Yin today?

Du Qian Yin.

Do you dare to repeat here...

what you've said to me before?

I've never told you anything.

You confessed that you're not the Winged Empress.

You used this identity...

just to be with General Yun.

But those are all fake.

You ordered Lu Ren Bing...

to change Liang City's route.

You were in contact with him.

You're the betrayer of Nanyu City.

Brother Yun, this is not true.

I'm really not.

Mu Yang.

During the test in Wuxiang Camp,

she was the one who tried to harm Ah Che.

I believe you know it very well.

Stop being wrong-headed.

All of you said Qian Yin is a betrayer,

and she killed His Lordship.

All you said are just assumptions.

What's your evidence?

Let's see if she...

allows us to check her injury then.

Before Lord died,

he stabbed on the murderer's shoulder.

I purposely made Zi Juan fall just now.

It's painful when she hit your wound, right?

Stop!

Qian Yin is the Winged Empress

and my fiancée.

How dare you humiliate her publicly?

It's alright, Brother Yun.

It's fine if they humiliate me.

But I won't want you to feel grievance.

What's going on?

Qian Yin!

Yes, I'm indeed wounded.

It's not sword injury but a scald.

Brother Yun fought a lot in battlefield...

and had many wounds.

I've found a folk prescription

for an elixir to heal him.

I was unfamiliar with the medicine stove.

That was why I got this scald.

Do you have witness?

It was near to midnight.

I didn't want to trouble the servants.

Why during midnight?

The guiding remedy for this prescription

is the midnight dew.

You just make up stories without any proof.

Maybe you did it on purpose

to cover your wound?

Enough.

Today is my wedding.

If you're here to congratulate me,

you're most welcomed.

If you're not,

please get out.

General Yun.

There're many doubts.

You can deny all for her.

You're the one who has spent time with Du Qian Yin.

Don't you suspect her even a little?

Before the case is being investigated,

you allow her to be the Golden Winged Empress...

and the commander's wife.

Aren't you afraid when everything is too late...

and the Cavalry is destroyed on your hands?

Brother Yun, you can't listen to her nonsense.

That's all from me.

The decision...

is still on your hands.

Let's go.

Lian Yi.

Lian...

Brother.

Ah Che.

Mu Yang.

Make a wise decision.

Do you still remember this?

You gifted this to me...

when we swore as siblings.

Do you remember what did you say?

No matter what in future,

as long as you take it out,

I'll do whatever for you.

What I want from you is simple,

don't marry Du Qian Yin today!
