[Novoland: The Castle in the Sky S2]

[Episode 7]

Master, have you found Lian Yi?

Have you found your brother?

What is that?

Nothing.

I'm telling you.

Once I've gathered 100 of them,

you'll have to return to Stars Pavilion.

What is this?

It's wine made with peaches...

No need to explain. It's good stuff.

Master, when are you coming back?

Even though you're away, I'm still practising it seriously.

Master, what did you have for lunch today?

I couldn't understand many of the books...

you told me to read.

Can you explain them to me?

Is this that young lady...

who's really ugly?

Of course not.

Duke.

The body has been in the river for too long...

that it has became unrecognizable.

-It's better not to look. -Unrecognizable?

Are you saying he's my son?

Zhao Er.

My son...

My deepest condolences.

Our deepest condolences.

My son.

How did he die?

His body was covered with wounds.

He was tortured before he died.

Tortured?

His wounds were three inches deep.

There are more than 10 wounds. And...

What is it?

The tendons on his limbs were all cut.

-Looks like he suffered a painful death. -What else?

That's all I've managed to examine for now.

Mu Qi!

Duke.

Are the traitors from Silver Wings Cavalry responsible for this?

Yes, that's what I think as well.

Yun Mu Yang took Lian Yi away...

with Young Lord's key, but I discovered something new.

What is it?

I found this on Young Lord.

It's possible that it was left by the killer.

Madam Xuan Ji is here.

-Greetings, Your Majesty. -Be at ease.

-Do you have news about Lian Yi? -Are you aware that...

something major happened in Nanyu City today?

Wei Zhao is dead.

-How did he die? -That's not the main point.

The main point is whether his death can be used to your advantage.

What do you mean?

I found evidence proving that the one who killed Wei Zhao...

is Prince Yu's trusted colonel,

Pei Jing.

Then hurry up and arrest him.

He definitely needs to be arrested, but now it isn't the time.

Why not?

There was a fox who wanted to share meat with two wolves.

The fox said everyone got a fair share, but it took bites after bites.

In the end, the fox ate all the meat alone.

That's when two dogs fight for a bone, the third one runs away with it.

I don't get it. What are you trying to say?

Prince Yu and Duke Wei have always been at odds.

Your Majesty just needs to give an order...

for Pei Jing to take over Wei Zhao's official position,

then those two old wolves...

will eventually fight each other.

I don't like this story.

The most important thing is to act truthfully.

Do you not trust me?

No, I do.

I want to know when the killer will be arrested.

It can only be done during the Seven Star Blessing Ceremony...

where Prince Yu won't be able to shield Pei Jing.

What do you think I should do about Pei Jing?

Your Majesty.

You've got me stumped.

But Madam Xuan Ji is really capable.

Why don't you trust her?

I find that everyone in the palace, besides you, is two-faced.

But Madam Xuan Ji helped you let Yang Duan go.

She even allowed Lian Yi to leave and cut the tax.

She has never tried to harm you.

You're right.

When I was still roaming outside,

I either trust someone or I don't.

I'd never ponder on the reasons.

As the saying goes, "meals must be taken, gratitude must be paid."

Your Majesty.

I think it's "revenge must be taken, gratitude must be paid".

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter. I didn't study much either...

or the principles of life.

But, whoever treats me well, I must treat them ten times better.

That's right. Just like the both of us.

Lian Yi.

Lian Yi.

It's me. I'm Du Qian Yin.

Brother Yun.

I won't let you die.

Brother Yun.

You must wake up.

I've sent him so many messages, but didn't get a single reply.

Didn't she say not understand those readings?

She's lying again.

Did he read it without bothering to reply?

Your Majesty.

You haven't been eating.

This is your favourite egg noodles.

-At least take a bite. -Take it away.

I don't have any appetite. I don't feel like eating.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Wait.

I think I'm suddenly feeling hungry. Bring me the noodles.

-Bring it to me. -Roger.

It's delicious.

It tastes so good.

You have the worst table manners.

The Seven Star Blessing Ceremony is coming.

You'll be back, won't you?

Did you hear that?

It wasn't very clear, but I think I did.

Master!

-It's right over there! -I can hear it clearly.

Look! It's moving.

It's moving!

Looks like there's really nothing here.

Look, Your Majesty!

Where? What is it?

There's nothing here.

Did I see it wrong?

Perhaps I misheard it too.

Brother Yun, you're finally awake.

Help me up.

Get up slowly.

-Brother Yun, how are you feeling? -I feel much better now.

Where is Lian Yi?

What happened to Lian Yi?

Lian Yi...

She didn't manage to get on the boat.

What?

I have to go find her.

Brother Yun, your wound hasn't recovered.

After I got you on the boat,

the hawser suddenly snapped.

I don't know martial art and wasn't able to help.

Lian Yi.

It's my fault.

How is it your fault?

It's my fault.

She ended up like this because of me.

What happened to your hand? Let me have a look.

-What kind of insect were you bitten by? -There was poison on your stab wound.

You were unconscious for days.

Back then, I heard of a method to fight poison with poison.

You used your own blood to draw out the insect?

I just wanted you to wake up.

What am I supposed to do...

if you never woke up?

Thank you.

Your Majesty.

Don't be like this.

I can get you the best teachers.

Besides, I can protect you too. I'll protect you with my life.

I mean what I said.

I'll swear on my mother's name.

Dang Dang.

I never thought you'd be so nice to me.

You were the first person I met here.

I wouldn't be the Winged Empress if it weren't for you.

How about this?

Let's be sworn buddies.

Stop calling me Your Majesty. Call me boss.

Your Majesty.

Call me boss.

Boss.

Pinky promise.

Boss, is this true?

Promise, seal it, and never break it.

I'll never break it.

I'll swear on my mother's name.

Take a look.

It's not important.

You're about to be in a mess yourself. You probably don't have time for others.

It's your turn. Hurry up.

It's your turn.

That's your move? You're burning your bridges.

I lost. Let's play another round.

I'm a bit hungry. I'll get something to eat.

I'll get something to eat!

Come save me!

Quickly come save me!

Xue Jing Kong.

I knew it.

Xue Jing Kong.

Feng Ru Che.

We're together again. How nice.

Not only does he have a handsome face, he even has good handwriting.

Does it mean I'm ugly since I have bad handwriting?

Master thinks I'm ugly.

-That's why he left and never came back. -I thought you said I was the ugliest.

What now?

He knew I'm in danger but refused to come.

How are you in danger?

Forget it.

I should just have a drink and get a good sleep.

Let's drink!

Cheers!

The first key in being a part of this world...

is to keep your promise.

You promised me! How could you not show up?

-When did I promise you? -You've tacitly agreed!

You're tacitly agreeing if you keep quiet.

-Do you think I really care? -Why are you making a fuss if you don't?

I think I really do care.

Although the days in the palace are luxurious,

it's nothing compared to my carefree life before.

I don't know when I started feeling this way.

I'll only feel calm and happy...

when I see you.

You always put on a stern face,

but I still wish to see you.

When did I put on a stern face?

Seeing one's handwriting is as seeing him in person.

I want to draw a tortoise on your face! Let's see how lofty you are then.

Little tortoise.

Don't forget the tail.

How dare you?

Xue Jing Kong!

Look how lofty you are!

Stop messing around.

Master.

Am I dreaming?

Come on. You should go to bed.

No! This is my dream.

You used to bully me.

-I must get my revenge on you. -Let go of me first.

Why won't you smile? Show me a smile.

Stop messing around.

-Quickly go to bed. -No.

Why? I want to get my revenge.

You should to go bed.

Let me down.

I can...
