Dance of the Sky Empire

Episode 21

Stop.

Your Highness,

the gate of the city has been heavily guarded.

If we wanna go out,

what we can do is break through.

Youlian is injured.

We can't break through

Prince Mu,

you've helped me a lot.

This time,

I can't encumber you anymore.

Youlian,

you're injured.

All that you should do is mind yourself.

I'll take care of the rest.

Turn round.

Yes.

Turn round.

How is Li Xuan?

He won't die.

But

he was badly upset,

I'm afraid...

Su Youlian,

she was so merciless that she hurt Li Xuan to this extent.

Don't let me catch her.

Otherwise,

wait and see how I will deal with her.

Have you looked into it clearly?

I don't think Youlian is such a person.

You're defending her, aren't you?

She's not anyone else.

She is the siren of the Clan of Kunwu.

Because of trusting her,

Li Xuan has suffered all of these things.

How do you feel?

Much better.

Thank you, Prince Mu.

You don't have to

thank me.

Prince Mu.

What are you doing?

Prince Mu,

the first time I've met you,

you helped me fix my damaged carriage.

So this time,

I wanna ask you to help me one more time.

The broken Saintess Stone

is the hope of our entire Clan of Kunwu.

You should stand up first.

Prince Mu, you don't intend to help me, do you?

Of course not.

Why

the Saintess Stone is able to awake the Dragon Emperor

is that it has strong spiritual power.

Now it's broken

and the spiritual power has died out.

Even if I repair it,

it will be merely an ordinary stone.

I've finally ruined the hope

of our Clan of Kunwu.

I let them down.

Actually,

if you do wanna awake the Dragon Emperor,

there's a way.

You have a way?

Your Highness.

You're...

Prince Mu,

what's the way?

Go back to the State of Sha with me.

Go back to the State of Sha?

If I go back to the State of Sha, will I be able to awake the Dragon Emperor?

Trust me.

Your Highness,

is there anything strange with the belt?

Ten years ago,

Princess Qingsheng of the Clan of Kunwu intermarried with a human being

and they had a son.

Have you heard about it?

Yeah.

It's said that the hybrid has the strong power

to even destroy the world.

But I also heard

that hybrid was killed by Lord Zi later.

He has the blood of the imperial family of the Clan of Kunwu in his vein

that can suppress the Dragon Emperor.

Wouldn't it be a pity

that he was killed?

What do you mean, Your Highness?

Nothing.

Put away the belt.

Maybe

it will be useful.

Stop.

How is your ability of self-healing?

Why you were able to

leave the Bloody Icebound Ward at that time

was that Li Xuan exchanged his ability of self-healing

with Elder of the Book of Heaven.

Why would have you done this?

Your Highness,

we haven't got any news of Princess.

Send someone to keep finding her.

Yes.

Your Highness,

as for what Miss Su asked,

have you made your decision?

If you decide to help her,

you'll have to marry her.

What if Miss Su is not willing to marry you?

Even if she isn't willing to marry me,

I'll help her anyway.

Now that I've promised her,

I won't go back on my word.

But if you help her,

you won't be able to live for long.

Over these years,

the State of Sha has been living on the State of Tianqi.

Our people have been living in the abyss of suffering.

As long as Youlian is able to awake the Dragon Emperor,

the State of Tianqi will be in danger.

Then our State of Sha can have a new start.

Your Highness,

you don't have to put your life in danger.

I've made up my mind.

You don't have to persuade me.

But who Miss Su values is Li Xuan.

She's never had a thing for you.

I think it's not worthwhile for you to do this for her.

Facing the general situation,

how could I be immersed in love?

Something is wrong.

Something is wrong.

Something is wrong.

There're so many soldiers coming to the Academy in a sudden.

What's going on?

Report to you, Your Highness.

I take the order of His Majesty

to catch the important criminal, Li Xuan.

What?

How dare you?

Do you wanna catch him in front of His Highness?

I can't disobey the order of His Majesty.

You...

Bring Li Xuan out.

Lord Zi.

Bring Li Xuan out.

Lord Zi.

Li Xuan is badly injured.

If His Majesty calls in him, I'm afraid...

As the Nation-protecting Master,

he not only hasn't taken the responsibility for protecting the Clan of Human Being

but let the siren of the Clan of Kunwu go into the mysterious land,

which caused the death of the people in the Academy.

So,

no matter what will happen in the end,

he should get his just deserts.

Lord Zi,

please think over it.

He's your disciple.

Lord Zi.

I'll go with them.

Bring Li Xuan who's guilty here.

Xuan.

As the Nation-protecting Master of Tianqi,

you betrayed our Clan of Human Being

because of the siren of the Clan of Kunwu,

which ruined the Moyun Ancient Academy of hundreds of years

and led to the death

of the innocent disciples of Moyun Academy

and the people in the city.

Li Xuan,

what do you think you deserve?

Father, please don't get angry.

That crafty siren of Kunwu is too crafty.

She disguised herself as a human being and sneaked into the Academy.

All of us were cheated by her.

But Li Xuan hasn't betrayed the Clan of Human Being.

Second Brother,

the thing has been where it is now.

Why are you still defending Li Xuan?

Are you

his partner?

Do you betray our Clan of Human Being either?

You...

Your Majesty,

it's all my fault that I fail to discipline Li Xuan at ordinary times,

which has developed his arrogant and wilful character.

Your Majesty,

he's always supremely badly behaved

but he values love and duty.

He wouldn't have betrayed the Clan of Human Being

and done harm to his fellow disciples

for a woman.

Please investigate it clearly, Your Majesty.

Enough.

Your Majesty.

Li Xuan

won't be absolved.

If someone intercedes for him,

he'll be penalized the same as him.

Father.

Father,

in my opinion,

we've got the incontrovertible evidence of guilt that Li Xuan colluded with the siren of Kunwu,

so we don't have to continue the interrogation.

Why not give the order to kill him directly

to comfort the souls of the victims?

Your Majesty, please punish Li Xuan severely

to comfort the souls of the victims.

To comfort the souls of the victims

Guards.

Yes.

Father.

Wei'er,

do you forget what I said just now?

No, I don't.

Whoever intercedes for him

will be penalized the same as him.

Why are you still interceding for him?

Father,

since I came to the Academy,

I've been with him every day.

I know clearly who he is.

It's impossible for him to collide with the Clan of Kunwu

and betray the Clan of Human Being.

I hope father could discover the minutest detail in everything.

What an impressive act!

Second Brother,

it's a pity that you're not a woman.

If you were a woman,

I would suspect whether

you have a thing for Li Xuan.

The thing has been where it is now.

Why are you still defending Li Xuan?

Those with discerning eyes can know clearly

that Li Xuan was exploited

by the siren of the Clan of Kunwu

while Crown Prince is pressing on at every stage

to kill him as soon as possible.

I wanna ask you

whether you have your own intentions.

You're framing me up.

What intentions could I have?

Everyone knows you have a feud with Li Xuan.

And you were beaten by him for several times.

I'm afraid you've had a grudge against him for long.

You're talking nonsense.

Father,

please don't believe the one-sided statement of Loong Wei'er.

He...he must be a partner of Li Xuan.

And he's already been disloyal.

You're the one who has been disloyal.

Shut up.

Guards.

Take Li Xuan away.

Choose an auspicious day to decapitate him.

Wait a sec.

Li Shude,

what are you gonna do?

Your Majesty,

there's an old saying that

failing in disciplining a son is the fault of a father.

Now, Li Xuan has made such a towering crime

that cost the lives of innocent people.

I'm the father of Li Xuan.

I should fulfil the compelling obligation.

But Your Majesty,

for the sake that I've been fought for the State of Tianqi

and I'm loyal to you in my lifetime,

I beg you

not to kill Li Xuan

and to leave the last inheritor for the Li Family.

Your Majesty,

I'm willing to die to show my appreciation.

Li Shude, you're...

Your Excellency Li. Your Excellency Li. Your Excellency Li.

Don't do it.

It's...It's...

It's...

Your Excellency Li. –He's...

Father.

Father.

Father.

Xuan,

actually, your mother,

your mother

is the best woman.

It's I who owe a debt of gratitude to her.

It's my fault.

Father.

You don't hate me, do you?

It's...

Why?

Why would it happen?

He's gonna rebel. He's gonna rebel. Guards, come to protect His Majesty.

Catch him.

He's gonna rebel.

Your Majesty, I'm late.

Please forgive me, Your Majesty.

Lord Zi, finally, you're here.

Have a look at the Nation-protecting Master you recommended to me.

I'm here for him.

Your Majesty,

you can't kill

the Nation-protecting Master.

Why can't I?

If it hadn't been because of him,

the city wouldn't have been in chaos.

I didn't notice the siren of the Clan of Kunwu had sneaked into the Academy,

I should take the responsibility.

If Your Majesty wants to punish someone,

I'm willing to incur the penalty for Li Xuan.

Now the city is in chaos.

If there's a rumor that Li Xuan has betrayed the Clan of Human Being,

it'll make the people more anxious,

which might finally lead to a huge turbulence.

Then

then in your opinion,

I have to let him go, don't I?

In my opinion,

Li Xuan did make a huge mistake,

but General Li

has atoned for the crime of his son with his life.

Now,

the Clan of Kunwu is about to pick up a fight against us,

the imperial court is in an urgent need of talents.

Why not put Li Xuan in prison

to reflect on himself?

Then he might be able to make contributions to the state to atone for his crime later.

That's it?

Wouldn't it be too kind to him?

Your Highness, what about going on an expedition with me

to fight again the Clan of Kunwu?

I...

Enough.

Now that

Lord Zi has given his advice.

Guards.

Yes.

Put Li Xuan in prison.

Yes.

Li Xuan.

Childe Li.

Nation-protecting Master.

What's wrong with you?

Do you go deaf or become a fool?

Okay. Okay. Okay.

We won't be able to provoke him.

Don't do it.

What are you scared of?

He's nobody now.

He used to bully people

in the name of the Nation-protecting Master.

But now,

he's merely a prisoner.

What else could he do to us?

I'm not scared of you at all.

I...

Who is it?

I'm bowing to you, Your Highness.

I'm bowing to you, Your Highness.

Open the gate.

Yes.

Li Xuan,

I'll persuasive father to release you in a few days.

You should stay here with ease these days.

Besides,

I'll take care of the funeral of General Li

in person for you.

You don't have to worry about it.

Look,

take care of him carefully.

If I find you bully him,

I won't let you go so easily.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I'll take good care of him.

Your Highness II, please go back.

His Majesty doesn't wanna meet you.

Your Highness II, don't...

Eunuch,

we're in the face of the strong enemy.

I have something important to report to father.

Please pass on message for me again.

It's...

Okay.

I'll do it for you again.

If His Majesty still refuses to meet you,

please don't hassle me anymore.

Thank you, Eunuch.

He hasn't left yet, has he?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Your Majesty,

His Highness II said he had something important to report to you.

I think

he's really urgent.

You pass on the message for him so activity.

Has he given you any rewards?

You're wise, Your Majesty.

His Highness II did give me a great thing.

Please have a look at it, Your Majesty.

You're bribed by

such a little thing.

Do you wanna meet him, Your Majesty?

Let him in.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Your Highness II,

hurry and come in please.

His Majesty is waiting for you inside.

Thank you so much, Eunuch.

I am not able to make Li Xuan die this time.

It's all the fault of Zi Ji.

He became entangled in it.

Li Xuan has made such a big mistake.

Even though he's still alive, he's useless.

We don't have to be scared of him.

Next,

you'll have to suppress the Second Prince

and not let him win the trust of His Majesty again,

which will be enough.

I've tried so hard to beat him.

Why would I let him be strong easily?

Right?

Report.

What's up?

I'm reporting to you, Your Highness.

His Majesty

called in the Second Prince just now.

What?

Are you sure?

Yeah.

I witnessed it by myself.

The Second Prince went to the imperial study.

Is father in his dotage?

How could he call in Loong Wei'er?

Your Highness, you have to be cautious about your word.

Someone might be listening in the corners of the wall.

Where is it?

Why should I be cautious?

You'd better figure out something to help me

deal with Loong Wei'er

instead of reminding me to be cautious over and over.

What idiots you are!

He has more talented subordinates than I have.

I get it.

The reason that he wanted to go the Academy so much

is because he wants to woo and buy over talents.

Then,

Your Highness,

why not send out invitations

to attract the talents all over the world

to work for you?

You'll have to take care of it.

No matter how much it will cost,

you have to find

the best talents for me.

Yes.

Hurry up.

I'll go do it for you.

Hurry up.

I'm kneeling down to you, Father.

I'm here to report something important to you.

I failed to notice that

the siren of the Clan of Kunwu had sneaked into the Academy,

which is my negligence.

But the mistake is made

and now the Clan of Kunwu is coming to look for trouble.

If you don't take action,

it'll be harder for us to control the situation.

Are you here to tell me this?

What I wanna say is that

I'm willing to lead someone to catch Su Youlian

to atone for my crime.

Can you make it?

I know that Su Youlian has strong supernatural power.

If I pick up a toe-to-toe fight again her,

I won't be able to beat her.

But if you allow me to catch her

with someone else,

I promise I will definitely catch Su Youlian.

Who do you want?

Li Xuan.

His Majesty has promised to release Li Xuan, hasn't he?

How is the funeral thing of General Li going?

Don't worry, Your Highness.

The corpse of General Li was put in a coffin yesterday.

The mourning hall was prepared well at night.

As long as Li Xuan worships him after he's released from prison,

General Li can be laid to rest.

Well done.

Well,

have you heard any news of Su Youlian recently?

I made an inspection tour of

each gate this morning,

I didn't heard that Su Youlian went out of the city.

I think she's hiding somewhere in the city.

As long as she's still in the city, it'll be easier for us to find her.

I'm worrying about that

if Li Xuan isn't willing to help you catch Su Youlian,

what should we do then?

Will you easily let the foe

who causes the death of your father go?

But the foe is also the beloved of Li Xuan.

What if he is in a moment of weakness

and doesn't want to kill her?

Then half of my plan would be successful.

Your Highness.

Open the gate.

Yes.

You can leave now.

Yes.

Father has promised to release you.

Go with me.

Li Xuan,

His Highness is talking to you.

Bainian,

you can also leave.

Li Xuan,

go with me.

I know you're sad,

but you could do nothing hiding here,

which will change neither the fact that Su Youlian took advantage of you

nor

General Li died due to it.

Li Xuan,

there isn't much time left for us.

The city is in chaos

and plenty of innocent people are being slaughtered by Su Youlian.

Do you wanna stay in the cell

being a douchebag for a lifetime?

Shouldn't you do anything for those innocent people as well as you father

to make up for your fault?

This is the favourite painting of the master.

Young Master, you can burn it to master in person.

Allow me.

The lady is so gorgeous.

Who's she?

The painting isn't one

that master

usually apprentice.

Maybe it's mixed in

when the servant brought the paintings here.

Shunzi,

where do you get the painting?

I'm reporting to you, Steward Li.

I took it from the study of master.

I didn't notice I had brought it here.

Is Steward Li in there?

I'm the steward of the Cui Family.

Please come out.

Steward Li,

it's what our madam asked us to send here.

Please have a check

whether there's something missing.

What do

these things mean?

These betrothal presents

were sent by our master in person.

Our madam said

the engagement to Childe Li

didn't count anymore.

There's no relationship between

the Cui Family and the Li Family from now on.

So these things...

You...

It's fine.

I haven't expected the Cui Family would do this to us.

It's your family who begged to make an engagement

to our childe at the beginning.

Now our master has just died,

you're coming to...

Get out. Get out. Get out.

Goodbye.

Li Xuan,

you can observe mourning for you father at home.

I'll come to you some other day.

I won't bother you today.

Goodbye.

When will we take action?

What?

To catch the people of Kunwu.

The deployment has been going on.

You wake up.

How about you? Do you feel better?

It's great.

What's in your hand?

I've seen you holding it these days.

Your Highness.

What's up?

It's okay. Spill it out.

The city is in chaos.

They wanna catch Miss Su everywhere.

I've heard that

the disciples of the Moyun Ancient Academy

were killed by the people of Kunwu.

Besides,

they have been slaughtering in the city.

It's impossible.

The Dragon Emperor was sealed in the Moon-fall Formation.

As I'm the Saintess, they're not able to seal me.

But the spiritual power of the people of Kunwu

has been sealed.

That's why they're suppressed by human beings everywhere.

Now, among the people of Kunwu,

no one is strong enough to do these evil things in the Moyun Ancient Academy.

Does anyone wanna

make the Clan of Kunwu a scapegoat?
