Once again, we are going to show how to create a new database. A database that

We're going to use for all this course.

It's a Point of Sale database.

As I showed you, we are going to show or to create a point of sale where we can save data.

We can update.

We can delete.

We can make order.

We can sell stuff.

Using the point of sell. that is the Point of Sell we are going to create, then we will need to connect

to the server.

To connect to the server, you must know the name of your computer, then your server, then you can

connect.

After connecting, you will see on your left side there is a object explorer in that object explorer.

You can see,

There is your server connection path.

There is a database, the folder for database.

But sometimes you cannot find that object explorer. If it's hidden, you need

to open it up.

Open it, you click on View Menu, then you select Object Explorer, then you can open it from there you can

create a database.

Right-Click

on database then you click on new database in Windows of object explorer.

You select database then.

Right-click on it, click on new database.

You have to name the database and give the right name of the database for us you remember it is a Point

of Sale database.

You put Point-of-sale as name, then you can start creating database.

You can see there is empty database.

There is no database diagram.

Everything is still empty.

There is no views, no programmability.

There is nothing inside.

Yeah.

Then we have to create new things. New Views, new Tables, new Store Procedures, everything.

We going to start from scratch.

As I told you, it's a point of sale.

We will show how to add data, to delete data, to edit data in the database.

Let us show you a point of sale.

Then I'm going to create for it the database.

We're going to show how click on beverage and it shows all beverage, how to do it, how to get quantity

designation, unit price, total price, all of that.

We're going to create all tables, all Views, all store Procedures.
