- Hello everyone, this
is Mick Dinkum here.

I'm outside of Veracruz, Mexico,

and found this little
haunted property here.

Heard local reports
about ghosts haunting it,

loud, loud screaming,
wailing noises at night,

and I've heard various accounts

of what might've happened here.

Some people speculate that
it might've been some,

some local escaped inmate
from a mental hospital

mighta come here and
taken victims here.

No remains were ever found,

but screams were
definitely heard,

and there is, in fact,
nearby a mental hospital.

So, nobody quite knows
what's goin' on here.

Traces of human DNA have
been found, blood and such.

Although because the
ocean's right by,

all the evidence does tend
to not last very long.

But what we do know is
this, there have been

ghostly apparitions sighted
here at night from not far away

and when people approach,
they mostly disappear.

So because it's an
uninhabited area,

it hasn't posed too much
of a nuisance or problem.

It's just kind of a
curiosity at this point,

but I am here because
the adventurer

or the scientific inquirer in me

wants to make sure that,

wants to get some video evidence
for the folks back home.

Aw, beautiful,
beautiful rooms here.

You can see, like, some
of these rooms look like,

like somebody might've
been killed here,

like a murder might've
taken place here.

Only reinforces the
possibility of a haunting.

You know, it's a lovely beach
front here, you can see that.

It's quite loud out
here, quite windy.

The wind is playing havoc
on my recording equipment.

That's all right though.

Now Mexico, when you
think of the supernatural,

it's mostly known
for the chupacabras,

but, you know, beyond
the cryptozoology,

there's also, you know, a
lot of blood's been spilled

and shed in this country,
as in most countries,

but lots of unhappy death
has happened in this place,

the wars, especially as you
get closer to Mexico City,

former Aztec capital,
you know, lots of,

lots of unhappy death there,

so lots of possibilities
for hauntings.

I think, on some level, the
Mexican Day of the Dead,

the Dia de los Muerte is
kind of a homage to that.

They're in touch with
their own mortality

and honoring their dead

because there are so
many unhappy dead.

That's just some of my own
philosophizing at this point.

Full disclosure, I
haven't researched that.

It's just me riffin'.

down a dusty dirt road

toward my next
investigation site.

I've been driving all night

shortly after sunrise.

I'm going to be visiting.

Though I'll admit,
there's not much to see.

A young boy's body was found
out here about 15 years ago

and may be the paranormal
subject of my latest case.

The boy's name
was Jason Trainer.

His parents reported him missing

about two weeks before
his body was found.

A large search party was
gathered together, but Jason

was eventually discovered by
his uncle, Dexter Trainer.

Many feel Dexter found the boy

because he knew
exactly where to look.

I'm going to get
some breakfast soon

and then head over to
the local public school

where Jason was once a student.

Wish me luck or at least
better luck than Jason Trainer.

Oh, hi everyone.

We're here at St. Michael's
Christian Middle School

in Haddonfield, Ontario,

and we're investigating
a potential haunting.

It's hot as hell
in this building.

Let's hope that's not
the only hell we find.

We were contacted by one
of the school's caretakers

who wanted to remain anonymous.

He told us that he's heard
a number of strange noises

that he wasn't able to
identify and at times

when he was supposed to
be alone in the building.

The sounds were familiar ones,

like footsteps or locker
doors slamming shut,

but no one else was ever found
in the vicinity of the noise.

He also reported objects
moving by themselves

or being found in other places
than where he left them.

He also mentioned
a pungent odor.

Fuck, maybe the
place wouldn't stink

if he cleaned all this shit up.

(object rattling)

This is bullshit.

(airplane rumbling)

- [Mick] So, here we have Anton,
ghost hunter extraordinaire

and we're on our way
to visit a new client,

but first, tell me about

how yesterday went,

- Ah, the school
didn't go very well.

that he was hearing odd noises

and experiencing weird

I was kind of
impressed to be honest,

but yeah, trouble is

my own investigation
kinda revealed that

there's kids in the school
that are fuckin' with him

and I don't know, I think
the guy's just easily duped,

and I don't really think
we got much there, man.

I don't think we got a
show out of that one.

- [Mick] Eh, that's the way
the cookie crumbles, I guess.

- Yeah.

- [Mick] So, where
are we off to now?

- Well, now we're
off to see a woman

who is very interested in us
investigating her family home.

there's a ghost.

could very well be it.

I don't know if it's ghost,
poltergeist, what it is,

but the same kind of deal.

We're talkin' noises
that she hears,

things appearing, disappearing,
stuff moving around.

It's very typical really
of the kind of stuff

that we investigate, but
here's the big difference,

she wants us to spend
the entire night there,

and, yeah, even that's not
so different that usual,

but she's willing to pay
$50,000 for us to do it.

we typically see for this
kind of thing, so I'm excited.

a little bit about the
history of the house?

- Sure, it was
owned by my sister

and her husband
and their daughter.

They lived there
for about 15 years,

and then, my sister suddenly
died very mysteriously.

Right about the same time,
her daughter, my niece,

was diagnosed with
a terminal illness.

My brother-in-law
found it very difficult

to take care of her as well as

have a job and earn an income.

So, he murdered her.

And then a short
while later, he,

he ended his own life,
classic murder suicide.

- I see, that's a
really tragic story.

Why don't you tell
me why you called us?

- We've been getting the
house ready for sale,

and honestly, it's
all very expensive.

The taxes and the
outside maintenance,

it's just bleeding us dry.

- Okay, but why did you
call us specifically.

- Strange things have started
happening in the house.

While I've been cleaning,

I would leave at the end
of the day and the house

would be beautiful and tidy,
all the closets closed,

and when I'd come
back the next day,

all the closets
would be wide open.

- I see, certainly sounds like
something's goin' on there.

How did you hear about us?

- Some friends of ours
who watch your show

have told us about you,

so we have started
watching the show.

- I see, well, I appreciate
the vote of confidence.

You do know we will be filming

the television
program in your house?

- As long as you keep our
family name out of it,

you can do whatever you want.

We realize it's pretty drastic,

but we've gotta do this now.

- Okay, well, we can certainly
change your names if need be.

You already spoke with Anton
about our fee structure,

and you're gonna get our
basic service for $50,000,

but I wanted to let you know
that for an extra $25,000,

we can also rent
some extra equip--

- [Mick] So, this is the house.

not a suburban bungalow.

So, we're just gonna
do a quick walk around,

make sure we get rid of any
obvious physical hazards,

so that we're only dealing
with the supernatural

and not the natural hazards
while we're here tonight.

So, there's a kitchen,
we'll check the sink.

Works, no blood comin'
out, which is a good sign.

(Anton chuckles)

Maybe a bad sign.

I'd be out of work if
there was no blood ever.

is it so important

that we know for sure
that this place is empty?

you never want to
be in a situation

where you're fighting it out

or trying to escape from
a really scary ghost,

and all of sudden, you
trip over a broomstick

or bang you head on a
piece of a jagged metal

that's hanging from the ceiling.

No, you wanna
eliminate those things,

so you can focus on the
supernatural terrors

that are chasin' ya.

- [Anton] No.

- [Anton] And from my
perspective I'd like to know

that no one is really around.

I don't have to think that,
after a check like this.

it's somebody in the house,

is because we have been asked

few deaths have occurred.

In this particular case,
we're dealing with,

there was a terminally ill
girl living here at the house.

She did not die
because of her illness.

Her father, in fact, killed her.

- Fucking cunt.

- [Anton] And I
gotta tell ya that

I don't know if it was a mercy
killing where he felt bad

because of everything
that she was going through

or simply that he
himself got fed up

with taking care of her,
but he did in fact kill her.

- Well, I'm no
expert, oh wait, I am.

I doubt it's a
mercy killing, mate.

Otherwise, you wouldn't
have the angry spirit here.

- [Anton] Well yeah,
there's more to it though,

and that's after he
murdered his daughter,

he committed suicide
here as well.

So, that complicates matters.

there's one more

and that's that his wife died
a few years prior to all this

and problem there is it was
seen as an accidental death,

but now that's kind of
all thrown into question.

So, I'm not sure if, in the
end, she did die by accident

or was she, in fact, another
victim of the husband's.

It's just something
we don't know.

- I guess we'll have to ask her.
