[The Blooms at RUYI Pavilion]

[Epidode 24]

Please wait a moment.

The following event is horseback flag hunting.

According to the regulated route,

the first person who can clear all the obstacles,

come back to this place

and grab the flag

will be the winner.

Go!

Yes!

Who is that?

Come out now!

What a coincidence, Duke Cheng.

What are you doing here?

I saw Princess Consort of Qingping and you left the event.

I wanted to talk to Her Highness.

Why is she not here?

What did you see?

What did I see?

What did I see?

Why did Princess Consort leave so soon?

Is that so?

Too bad.

Too bad Xu Jin's concubine who is young and pretty

will be killed by beasts

in the wild today.

You must be kidding, Duke Cheng.

The wilderness is so quiet.

No way there are beasts.

It's too bad.

Your Highness.

Where is Concubine Rong?

She left the event suddenly.

She didn't allow me to follow.

Which way did she go?

Well...

What is wrong?

Nothing.

It's not safe to stay here. Let's go.

Stop!

Why are you so frantic, Duke Cheng?

When I was appreciating the views in the forest,

Duchess Su appeared out of nowhere.

It seemed that she had something to tell me.

But she left before she finished speaking.

What is wrong?

You can tell me.

Nothing.

Just now,

an animal chased after me.

That's why I kept running.

-I guess Duke Cheng didn't see it. -You!

Enough.

The competition is going to start.

We should go back now.

Duke Cheng.

You seemed flustered.

You better keep your nose clean

in case His Majesty put the blame on you.

Let's go.

Are you leaving with Duchess Su alone, Royal Uncle?

I don't think it is proper.

We are Dukes.

What's wrong?

Are you trying to poke your nose into my business?

You are right, Royal Uncle.

Are you okay?

I am okay.

Let's go. His Highness will get worried.

You still care about him.

Of course.

That's why he is my lover.

You'll get it when you find yours.

I have found mine a long time ago.

Hurry up!

Let me help you so that you can walk faster.

Let's go.

Fu Rong!

Your hand is injured.

What is wrong with your hand?

It's just a small wound. It's okay.

I am leaving.

I encountered danger when I was in the forest.

You are being jealous.

I was so close to death!

Fortunately Duke An saved me.

He repaid my kindness for saving him last time.

So, both of you don't owe each other anymore.

Your Highness, don’t worry.

I am indebted to you more.

More than three times.

I don't want you to repay the kindness.

I want you to hug me.

The result is coming out. Let's go.

Okay, I shall hug you.

Let's go.

It's Little Marquis. He won!

Guard the Emperor!

Young Lady.

Guard the Emperor!

Let's go.

Little Marquis.

Wake up.

Your Majesty.

I have accomplished the mission.

How is your injury?

It is just a minor injury. I am fine.

Though you were shot in secret,

you are still the winner.

Brave and skilful

is for none other than you.

Consort Duan.

Your nephew is indeed marvellous.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Bai Qi has been really brave since young.

Wu Bai Qi,

I shall name you the Valiant General.

You will be leading the Seal of Huxiao Camp.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Miss Xuan, he is fine.

Duke An.

Find out

who shot the arrow from hiding.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Rubbish, you are useless!

It must be Duke Su

and Duchess Su who had informed Wu Bai Qi earlier.

He was prepared.

You are right.

Uncle,

if it weren't for your mercy,

Wu Bai Qi wouldn't have had escaped!

Yes.

As His Majesty was at the scene,

I didn't want to make a scene.

It's pointless to say all these now.

I am trying to hold back my anger.

At the moment,

we can't harm Wu Bai Qi,

let alone Xu Jin.

Go now.

Teach Fu Rong a lesson.

Let me vent my dissatisfaction.

The arrow is not poisoned,

just some anaesthetic on it.

It makes one feel temporarily numb.

Your Highness is so great.

At that dangerous moment,

Your Highness broke the arrow into two.

You were brave too, Little Marquis.

He is now

General Wu.

I am in awe.

Stop calling me General.

It sounds weird.

I must thank Your Highness for saving me.

The arrow is not poisoned.

It seems that the culprit did not aim to kill you.

They just didn't want you to win.

Ge Chuan.

Your Highness.

I shall investigate the list of the candidates in detail.

Since you are fine,

I shall check on Rong'er.

Your Highness.

Where is Concubine Rong? Is she out there?

Well...

Well, Young Lady Fu Xuan...

Rong'er is not here.

You should take a rest.

Hurry up, take a rest.

You should take a good rest.

Ms Fu, you are...

Rong'er's attire got dirty.

She will have to attend a banquet with you later.

She needed a change of clothes.

That's why we exchanged our clothes.

Lan Xiang is helping her get ready.

She will make it to the banquet in time.

You have thought about everything.

Wu Bai Qi

is badly injured.

Ms Fu, you should pay him a visit.

I have to meet up with Rong'er.

See you.

Ms Fu.

Ms Fu, since you are here,

why don't you pay Little Marquis a visit?

I am here to pass a message from Rong'er to Duke Su.

-His Highness... -His Highness...

You are here to see His Highness?

See...

-You are here to see His Highness. -You are here to see His Highness.

Where are you going?

She...

She has left.

Little Marquis.

Are you okay?

Be careful.

Are you thirsty?

Let me help you.

Why are you wearing Duchess Su's attire?

It's none of your business.

Well...

Did you see me capture the flag?

Don't you think that I am extremely brave and attractive?

Little Marquis.

No one compliments themselves that way.

Since you don't compliment others,

I am left with no choice

I have to compliment myself.

Turns out you have recovered.

Why did you pretend to be sick?

You have no idea how dangerous it was.

Fortunately I was blessed with your bracelet.

That's why I am sound and safe.

Sit down, let me tell you the story.

A bunch of people were on the horse.

In short, thank goodness for my fast reaction.

Wu Bai Qi!

Wu Bai Qi!

Help!

Help! There is an assassin!

Wu Bai Qi, wake up!

Wu Bai Qi, help!

Okay, I am going to remove it. Hang in there.

Ms Fu.

-I am here. -Turn your head.

It is scary. Don't look at it.

Listen, Little Marquis.

Don't talk at the wrong timing. Bite it.

It will be very painful.

Bite it.

Get ready.

One, two, three.

It's okay.

It's not painful.

It's not painful.

Mr Ge.

Is the arrow poisoned?

The arrow is indeed poisoned

but fortunately

it didn't pierce deeply.

It's okay.

The assassin escaped.

Duke An has instructed people to look for the assassin.

Is Little Marquis okay?

He is okay.

Ms Fu.

When I see your tears,

my injury

doesn't feel as painful.

However, another part of my body is aching.

Which part is it?

My heart is aching.

He is indeed doing okay.

You!

Little Marquis.

Little Marquis.

Mr Ge, Little Marquis has passed out again.

Don't worry, Ms Fu.

The anaesthetic has worked.

He will wake up soon.

I shall meet up with His Highness.

Hold on.

I am coming with you.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Why are you laughing?

I am laughing at you.

When I was not around,

you ate in secret.

Yuan.

Can you guess what I am sewing?

This is...

I think this is a bird.

It's not a bird. It's a Mandarin Duck.

This...

This...

I thought the handkerchief was blown away by wind.

Turns out someone stole the handkerchief.

Everything in the Duke Su's Residence

belongs to me, including you.

Look!

That one?

That one?

That is Big Dipper.

-Which one? -Look.

The two stars that are parallel

are Merak and Dubhe.

Merak is connected to Phecda and Megrez

while Dubhe is connected to Alioth.

There are also Mizar and Al...

Stop talking. Got it.

It's Mr Ge!

Your Highness.

-How did you know? -I saw him.

-Your Highness. -Your Highness.

-My lady. -My lady.

An assassin tried to kill Little Marquis.

Fortunately Mr Ge was there to treat Little Marquis.

Now, Young Lady Fu Xuan is keeping him company.

He is not at risk.

Where is the injury?

He was injured at the back.

The injury is about this spot.

-Yes. -It's there.

[Duke Su's Residence]

How is Little Marquis doing?

Are you asking the question

or is Ms Fu asking?

What is the difference?

If you want to know,

I shall tell you the truth.

However, if Ms Fu had asked,

Wu Bai Qi had reminded me many times

to say that he is badly injured

and has not recovered.

How funny.

However, he was indeed shot by an arrow.

What does that mean?

What happened?

Rong'er.

If something

is destined to happen,

will there be any chance to change it?

Of course, men will triumph over nature.

You are by my side now

and that is the best evidence.

What is wrong?

Why are you behaving strangely?

Have you found the assassin?

I have to go to the study.

[Elegance and Magnanimity]

Finally you are awake.

I told the chef to cook you some pear soup.

Have some, it helps to reduce heat in your body.

Are you close with the wandering swordsmen who always wander

nearby Ruyi Pavilion?

You mean Xiao Qi and Xiao Ba?

What is their relationship with Ruyi Pavilion?

Do you know their background or house?

They were treated kindly by my master.

They conduct a small business near Ruyi Pavilion.

What is wrong?

Nothing.

I know that their networking is wide.

I would like to ask them about something.

I see.

They have a stall nearby Ruyi Pavilion. It's easy to find them.

However, they have gone missing lately.

I bet they have gone somewhere else to find a way to become rich.

I shall send Yuan to look for them.

We are inseparable.

You slept too much.

Sure, we won't be apart.

[Huxiao Camp]

Ms Fu.

Ms Fu, aren't you here to see me?

Why did you run off?

I heard that you have not recovered from the injury.

However, you looked quite energetic

when you ran out from the house.

Your Highness said that I have not recovered from the injury?

That is not right.

Your Highness wouldn't lie to Concubine Rong

and she wouldn't lie to you.

You really didn't know that I have recovered?

I am here

to fulfil my promise.

I am here to go through Feng Lai Yi's ledger for you.

Lately, you were occupied with work and recuperation,

I guess

you didn't have time to go through the ledgers.

I have forgot about Feng Lai Yi.

I shall send you the ledgers later.

Thank you for your help.

Let me send you off.

General!

General!

It's time to train the army!

You should attend the training.

My cart driver is waiting for me.

I have to make a move.

Then...

Be careful on your way back.

Training, is it?

Fine.

Let's go!

-Be gentle, General. -Training, is it? Okay.

We shall train together today.

General, you instructed me to check the weapons in the camp out of a sudden.

I had to run up and down for so many times just to carry the weapons.

-I can't train with you anymore. -No way.

-Can you please change another person? -You are the person.

Stop.

These weapons are too old. Get some new weapons.

General.

We have always been using old weapons for training,

-New weapons are kept in the store room. -Just do what I said.

Stop talking so much.

Try all the new weapons.

Yes.

Okay, stop trying.

I know which weapons are broken.

There is a pattern.

General.

What is going on?

Keep quiet

and get rid of the broken weapons.

Don't create a scene.

Yes.

[Duke Su's Residence]

These are scrapped weapon.

After being forged,

the weapons were painted

and kept in the weapon storage room.

That's right.

As instructed by Your Highness,

I started to check weapons in the camp once I got promoted.

However, I didn't find anything. All the weapons are there.

They were replaced with shoddy goods.

How many broken weapons are there?

We have not checked all the weapons.

One sixth of the latest weapons

have been replaced.

Before all the weapons are replaced,

we have to find out their contact point in the capital as soon as possible.

Yes.

You finished discussing with Little Marquis?

I saw that

you did some new decorations.

After listening about Big Dipper,

I thought about creating some jewellery

with the theme of constellations.

That is a good idea.

However, I don't quite understand constellation.

Even after I read some books, I still don't quite understand it.

That's why I would like to get your views.

We shall go to bed now and talk about it tomorrow.

You should go to bed first.

You must be tired.

You should take a rest.

I need to work on Huxiao Camp.

[I was not afraid of death.]

[However,]

[now, I am in fear.]

[Rong'er.]

[I don't want to let you go]

[but neither do I wish to harm you.]

[Give me more time.]

[I have to work on the life and death matter first.]

Madam.

Did you stay up at night and write this?

It's His Highness's handwriting.

The 28 constellations.

As Ruyi Pavilion was closed for some time,

most of the regular customers have been snatched away by Feng Lai Yi.

Now, Ruyi Pavilion has reopened.

I believe that

if we keep coming out with new items,

the business will become better.

These are the new weapons?

General.

Open it.

Not bad.

I shall send the weapons to the store room.

Put it back in the cart.

Stop right there.

What are you transporting?

A new batch of weapons has reached.

That's why I am sending the old weapons back to the forging camp

to melt them and forge new weapons.

Open the cart.

[Huxiao Camp to clear scrapped weapons by sending them to forging camp every month]

It's okay.

Go.

Thank you.

Let him go.

Is it not enough?

We can get more.

It's okay.

[Copperware shop is sending goods. One time permit]

This is a letter approved by Marquis Xindu.

The guards at the city gate will not check thoroughly.

-Time is essence. Leave the capital now. -Okay.

Here.

Slow down.

One, two.

Put it down.

I wonder what brought you here, Your Highness.

Are you feeling better?

Thank you for the concern, Your Highness.

I have recovered.

Good to hear that.

Is Your Highness here

because you have found the culprit of

Nanshan hunting ground?

Yes.

Who is it?

I have not reported to His Majesty.

I came to see you first.

I have my own agenda.

Could it be...

Could it be...

When we were investigating men in black,

we found out that those men in black ran to a place

known as Kushui Village.

While investigating Kushui Village,

we found that Marquis Xindu went there quite often.

Of course.

I don't have enough evidence with me.

I don't get it.

Hence, I am here to inquire.

After all,

even a vicious tiger will not eat its cubs.

I am no longer his son.

Even in that case,

blood is thicker than water.

I don't get it.

Why is he

doing this to you?

Blood is thicker than water

but it is not thicker than money.

As for Marquis Xindu's agenda,

I have made some assumptions.

Please don't report it to His Majesty yet.

Give me some time.

If I find any clues,

I will definitely report to you.

Of course.

That's why I am here.

However,

if you have personal resentment against him,

you can solve it in private.

If there are other reasons,

make sure you don't forgive him easily.

Thank you, Your Highness.

Okay.

Don't further delay the matter.

Please find out the truth as soon as possible.

Yes.

Are you wondering

why I told Wu Bai Qi about it?

I know that you intend to manipulate him.

However, according to the clues given by Ms Gu,

in addition to my investigation,

it is safe to say that

Marquis Xindu's contact point in the capital...

is the copper-ware shop in the West of the city.

We just have to attack copper-ware shop

and obtain evidence from Duke Su's Residence.

Marquis Xindu will be under the impression that

Duke Su has found out about everything

and he would act first to gain the upper hand.

Xu Jin, on the other hand,

will not allow the evidence in his hand disappear for no reason.

You have though about everything.

Send someone to attack the copper-ware shop tonight.

The day Xu Jin knows about it

will be the day he dies.
