[Applause]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

that's right

you're there i can hear you lester oh

[ __ ]

yeah i'm not this time please

[Music]

noble you picked the wrong time to call

man

[Music]

it's not my fault lover boy nobody

but you know i'm on vacation

[Music]

not anymore

bruce lester i've called you in here for

a very important project

you're my two best agents and you're the

only man who can handle the job

i think you two know o'brien and

williams

you're taking over their mission why did

they [ __ ] up again

yeah they're dead oh jesus

we've got a rogue agent he's out of

control

o'brien and williams were assigned to

bring him in

so what happened he happened

my graves there must be some mistake if

you're after him you should have sent

more men

we're hoping that won't be necessary

that's why you two are here no one knows

him better than you

yeah we know him you're after the wrong

man

no there's no mistake as you know

two years ago he was assigned to head an

anti-terrorist surveillance unit

but somewhere along the way something

snapped word from the field is that he

has established his own terrorist

organization

as far as we can tell there are

apparently no political motives

he's simply in it for the power of money

and i want you to bring him in

yes sir

[Music]

[Music]

i can't believe mike is doing this we've

got to talk to

him before we can do anything if he

won't listen

what else can we do we've got no choice

but to carry out our mission

it's worth a try after all he was one of

us

okay

[Music]

[Music]

huh

[Music]

that was a great workout you're still

the best mike

you two should learn to take more risks

as long as you don't risk national

security for your personal gains

what's that supposed to mean all right

mike

i'm gonna tell you straight we know what

you've been doing

we've been assigned to bring you in stop

now and turn yourself

in it's not too late we don't want to

fight you

we've been friends too long the trouble

with you guys is that you have no vision

the time comes when you have to do

something for yourself

join me if we work together we'll be

invincible

i've got a plan that could set us up

like kings for the rest of our lives

what do you say stop it mike i can't

believe you're talking like this

you're crazy mike yes you are you think

i'm crazy

for my whole life i've been fighting for

so-called justice

there is no honor it's all [ __ ]

everyone is only looking out for

themselves

i'm only taking it one step further i've

paid my dues

and now the world owes me you're wrong

mike

our friendship must mean something to

you i'm giving you the chance to go

along

if you don't come along then whatever

happens to our friendship is your

responsibility

[Music]

so

um

[Music]

captain

a male passenger wants to see the view

from the cockpit

okay send them in

sir it's all right thank you

hello captain when i was a young boy i

wanted to become a pilot

what kept you from being one

i'm sorry captain but we're taking you

playing

give me five

you know if you let that grenade blow

you might die too along with all of

these innocents

hey you don't shut your mouth your face

won't have a mouth

forget your flight plans you're going to

put us down not i'm in a little bit of

cebu

from there we're going to negotiate all

of our demands

you can tell them you've been hijacked

you won't hoop report that you have to

make an emergency landing

go on get on the radio

maybe mayday

mayday

they've hijacked the plane

what dragon damn it

please mister i'm afraid to make a

landing

with our tanks topped out with fuel

we have to go into manila to avoid a

total disaster

that's [ __ ] and you know it now stop

wasting time and put this plane down

like i told you

like rpc7 to town

flight rpc7 to town come in tower over

go ahead

prepare for our landing please tell

commander dears that there's someone

aboard

who demands to talk to him as soon as we

land

notify dears at once

notify the commander dears at once over

landing in command

commander diaz i understand you have a

little problem out at the airport

mikey craig tell me how much money you

won

i'm not after money commander last month

you received a shipment of experimental

laser weapons from the united states

government

my god you are crazy you know i'm not

authorized to release those weapons well

you'll just have to get authorization

then won't you

get me those weapons where everybody

you've got three hours

oh

come

get in here come on

i want this handle as more than an

ordinary emergency situation

yes sir sir

sir what are they demanding

top secret are they one freedom to leave

the country

sir that's against the policy of our

government

i know it we'll have to leave that

decision to the people in manila

how many hijackers are aboard

we're not sure but

their leader is a very dangerous man

what do we know about him

his name's abbott he recently escaped

from prison he was in for murder

abbott i've heard of him

he's middle class but highly educated

sir with your permission i want to

prepare

an assault on the airplane

colonel if the west comes to the worst

how soon can you set up the assault plan

sir

give us at least three hours

the secure channel is open now go ahead

that's better diaz we can talk

now what do you want i know you're aware

of who my commander is i want a phone

patch connected to michael graves and

one more thing

with the passenger on board who's on his

way to the hospital

we don't need that kind of complication

in here

all right we'll get the patient but the

phone patch

are you kidding is don't play me for a

fool

now you get that phone patch open right

now and i mean

now

[Music]

me

so

we've come to get the patient abbott

we're unarmed like you said

[Music]

angel go and get the patient

[Music]

out of my way now

i knew we should never have taken that

vacation

well if we hadn't gone i would have

killed you so what's the difference

graves i've got the plane secured

ready for your orders good work i've

given them three hours to come up with

the goods

unless you hear from me by then go ahead

as we planned

start killing the passengers one by one

ryan do you have any preference as to

who goes first

kill a man first then a woman

if they still have no answer by then

kill a kid

i want a nice variety so they know we

mean business

i like the way you think no wonder we

get along so well

don't get sloppy on me just do your job

when we finish this one and i get those

weapons we'll be in a position to own

our own country

no mistakes there's so much writing on

this

just don't worry about it make all those

negotiations go through

and i can promise you you can have your

goddamn country

good i'll call you later tell him to

keep this channel open

you bet good

[Music]

who's ready to die huh

you unlock your prisoner

[Music]

[Applause]

oh

warning to you

you meet our demands otherwise you'll be

forcing us to kill

again and again until you comply with us

you would better not waste any time you

should have made your delivery by now

i'm gonna need a little more time be

reasonable

just a few more hours

i want it now diaz now

otherwise

i must get clearance to release those

weapons

please give us a little more time all

right

i'll only give you 25 minutes more

don't worry it'll be all right johnny
