Brother,

just as expected

the case of Xie Yuan

Wen Family was also involved

Now we have gotten rid of the emperor's wings

I think the time has come

I've made arrangements for the imperial ceremony of the nine stannums

Brother, we

have been waiting so long

Finally we are going to make it

How is the queen these days?

Ladies from our Wang Family have gone through a lot of things

She was sick for two days

But I think she is fine now

Yet she is worrying about the guy in the prison

Brother,

why are you still here so late?

You can leave now

I need to talk with the prime minister

Yes

Brother

why are you visiting so late?

There have been a lot of business in the court

I just freed myself from them

and I am coming to check on you

Palpitation, like always

I shouldn't have been softhearted

I should have killed Xue Dao'an

I heard that the queen went to the prison a few days ago

I don't know why

National affairs, needless to say

Wen Zongshen is the Counselor

He is well admired in the court

If we could have his support,

the crown prince would be

stronger than ever on the way to the throne

Just so?

What else do you think, brother?

You'd better not

Some things were long gone

I think you should not worry about them any more, your Majesty

Now, Wen Zongshen

has already took you and me as traitors and usurpers

He would want nothing but us to die

You favor him

But he may not favor you

You and I have planned so long

Do not lose your discretion at this time

Brother, I don't agree with you about this

A just cause enjoys abundant support an unjust cause finds scant support

He is a nostalgic man

That's merely a wishful thinking of yours

Stronger than ever?

You are sending the wolf to keep the sheep and breeding evil!

You ask yourself

Are you doing this for the crown prince?

Or for your past?

Your relationship with him was a sin of shame

Prime minister

How dare you!

Your Majesty

Calm down

An honest advice is hard to take

Your Majesty, since you do not want to listen,

I will say nothing no more

and leave

Brother

My bad, I am too impatient

Actually,

I wanted to get him roped in for Zilong

No other purposes

Give me some more time,

I will get Wen Zongshen pledge his allegiance

Good

I wish Wen Zongshen could follow your order, your Majesty

Your Majesty

Follow him

Let me know where is he going

Yes

Counsellor Wen is really a man of equanimity

You are in the prison

Yet you are sleeping so well

I admire you

A straight foot

is not afraid of a crooked shoe.

You are not afraid of

ghosts and devils

Unlike those

who have done conscienceless things

What a shame!

Absolutely

They could hardly sleep at night

Sleepless all nights long

Counsellor Wen, you are still the same as in court

You would bare no one with your mouth

But unfortunately,

the winner would take all but the loser gets nothing

Although there is only a fence between you and me

A few steps away

The outcome is doomed

Wang Lin

What goes around comes around

You are as arrogant as you are right now

But in the future,

you will die as a dog

What's going on?

Your Highness, per your order,

I have followed the prime minister all the way down

The prime minister didn't go back home

He went to the prison

What?

The prime minister went to the prison

By himself?

With two eunuchs

You and I

are enemies and friends

Counsellor Wen, you are

one the few men that I, Wang Lin, admire

Today, let us just enjoy the wine

Let's talk about the wind, the moon and poems

No national affairs

How's that sound?

Poisonous wine

You want me to die

Why would you waste your time telling lies?

I, Wen Zongshen, am not afraid of dying

You are not afraid of being beheaded,

why are you afraid of a cup of poisonous wine?

Listen,

the emperor is muddled

He is not as good as the previous emperor

He is also not as wise as we are

Now we have domestic turmoils and foreign aggressions

There are battles in all places

As mighty as you are, the head of the secretariat,

you would rather bear the name of a royal minister

but do nothing?

Wang Lin

Your wild ambitions

are knows to everybody

Do not make excuses for yourself

Wen Zongshen,

I value talents

That's why am I talking with you sincerely

Otherwise,

what makes you think I would pay you a visit?

Please

Wang Lin

I, Wen Zongshen, would rather die than to make deals with the devil

I will wait for you in the hell

Don't!

Brother

You have already promised me.

Promised you what?

I was only enjoying the wine with Counsellor Wen

What are you fearing of?

Anyhow,

you cannot kill him

Ok

Ok

Ok

Counsellor Wen is really impressive

You are in the prison,

but you can still make my sister,

the queen,

cherish you and crazy for you

She could barely hold herself

Amazing

Brother

Someone is not valuing the wine

What a pity

Your Highness

Run, run quickly

Run, your Highness

When I thought

I was abandoned by my family,

Yuxiu showed me care and compassions

She reminded me in the world,

apart from imperial power and richness,

intrigues and deceptions,

there are still people outside your family that care about you and will not fail you

Loyalty and protection

I have lost things

but I have also gained things

I won't give up on you

Yuxiu

General Hu

Where is the lord?

He hasn't been sleeping much these days

He has just finished patrol in the camp

and gone to bed for less than two hours

Can you please report

to the lord that

Duke Huan's supplies have arrived

The messenger wants to meet the lord

Brother

Let him sleep longer

He is my guest here

He has escorted the supplies for a long way here

I should meet him

Let's go

My Lord

Lord

Good to see you, Lord Yuzhang

Per Duke Huan's order, I

have escorted the supplies for Lord Yuzhang

You have come such a long way here with so many supplies, general

That's indeed a timely help

Thanks to the great kindness from Duke Huan

I, Xiao Qi, am really grateful to him

Lord Yuzhang

Duke Huan also has an important message for you

Can we have a word in private?

Ok

So,

Duke Huan is entrusted by the prime minister to do this

Exactly

Duke Huan is coming here from the capital

Huan's army is lined up and ready to go,

waiting for orders anytime

Does he have the edict?

Lord Yuzhang

Since the emperor was poisoned,

he has not been recovered

He seemed lost his mind recently

So the crown prince is the Guardian of the nation now

and the prime minister serves as Regent

This edict was proposed by the crown prince and the prime minister

It's a secret imperial edict

Your Highness

Your Highness

Your Highness

You are awake, Yuxiu

You are finally awake

How do you feel?

If you don't wake up

her highness would be exhausted

Her highness has stayed here for several nights

to take care of you

As a maid myself,

I have never seen such a master

Your Highness

I don't deserve it

Don't say that

I have made up my mind

From today on,

you are no longer my maid

I want you to be my little sister

Yuxiu dares not

When you saved me,

you were quite brave

Your Highness

You have not slept well for several nights

Get back to Fengchi Palace and take a rest

I have talked with her Majesty

You can take a good and peaceful rest here

When you are getting better,

I will take you home

Your Highness, please go to rest

Yuxiu will follow you, your Highness

Lord

Lord

Tang Jing wants to ask when shall we march the army?

Hu Guanglie. My Lord

Hu Guanglie wants to know

Go away!

Anxious?

No.

We think we are fully equipped with supplies now

It's a wonderful boost for the morale

What are we still waiting for, my Lord?

Are you sure of a victory if we move now?

With your command, my Lord

our Ningshuo Army has never lost

Where is Huan's reinforcement now?

They have passed Hanmeng Pass

Quite close to us

Hanmeng Pass

Lord

Do we really have to wait for Duke Huan's reinforcement?

Yes, my Lord

If we hesitate,

we may be besieged by King Jianning's army

That will be a real trouble

King Jianning is on the west

Hanmeng Pass is on the east

We are in the middle

I don't think I have a good relationship with Duke Huan

If he is not truly coming to help us,

There's even no route of retreat for us

Well...

Duke Huan was sent by the prime minister to help us

Prime minister is lord's father-in-law

There's no reason for him to set up our lord

Right, my Lord

Duke Huan's supplies have arrived

That's real

If he really wants to set us up,

why would he send so many supplies to us?

My Lord, if I may,

Since you were titled Lord Yuzhang,

you are not as assertive as before

In terms of battles,

it is all about the creed

My Lord, I think we should

Spread my order

March forward 80 miles

to Xiaofeng Pass

Confront with King Jianning

Yes

Tang Jing

Send a message to the court about the situation here

Deliver this letter to her highness for me

Rest assured, my Lord

I will certainly do that

What are you laughing at?

No, I am not

Go, go, go

Duke Huan

Lord Yuzhang has marched his army

towards west for 80 miles

Across the Xiaofeng Mountain,

they are confronting King Jianning's army

It seems that the war is about to break out

Xiao Qi finally couldn't take it any more

He has moved

one more step close to the hell

The ones we sent to deliver the supplies,

is he still in Xiao Qi's army?

Yes

According to Duke Huan's plan,

they can be our moles

Lord Yuzhang

is nothing more than a man from a humble family

He has nothing but bold courage

I will defeat him

He will be beheaded

Princess, I have taken it back

The second prince said

that thing is inside it

Madam

My dear

Why are you here?

What?

You are my wife,

and you are now allowing me to go in?

How come?

It is just because you are always in the side yard

You rarely come here

You are suddenly here today

I, Huan Mi, am surprised

If I don't know that

we do not love each other,

what you just said

will make me feel that you are jealous

You are joking, my dear

Hold on

What?

You are loath to feed me with

just one little dessert

No, my dear

I added some sour apricots in the dessert

Didn't you hate to eat sour things?

You do still remember I don't like sour things

Good for you

But sometimes

people change their tastes

Yummy

Why are you here, my dear?

What for?

You can speak straight to me

Awu's birthday is approaching

We didn't plan to have a big party

But

considering mother is now living in the Ci'an Temple

I want to take this opportunity

to ease the relationship between father and mother

I specially come to tell you this

and I hope you can get ready in advance

Understood, my dear

Awu's birthday gift

will be ready in advance

Good

One more thing,

would you

like to have the meal with me?

I am not hungry

What did you say?

You're not hungry?

Yes

You are not hungry

Fine

Zhu Yan and Fei Se

are waiting for me in the side yard

I will not stay here then

See you, my dear

That's close, so close

No more steps forward, no more

What?

You are crying

You don't want to marry me

Then, you

Why do you agree to marry me?

For his sister's birthday

he remembers it so clear

How could he forget

princess's birthday is tomorrow

By comparison,

the second prince is...

Shut up

You have a loose tongue, do you?

We are almost dying

My bad

Finally we are heading out the palace

Yuxiu is not fitting in here

Conflicted

I was nearly dead as soon as I got in the palace

I dare not come here in the future

A palace is somewhere people may get killed

I grew up at this place

I didn't realize that

And

at the thought of

her Majesty of the nation is living right next door

I feel so bad in my heart

I haven't slept well for many days

Look at my eyes, your Highness

Farewell, your Highness

It's so lively out here

I want to get out and play around

Silly girl

You have not recovered

and you are thinking about playing outside

While I was lying on bed these days,

I have lived an easy life with everything provided

But I am not comfortable at all

Well

When you are recovered,

I will take you out

Sister

This carriage is not the prime minister's

What's wrong? Your Highness?

Stop!

Pang Gui

Yes

Follow the carriage on the right front side

and see where the people inside are going

Yes, my princess

Your Highness, you are back

How are you?

Nothing serious.

General Song, thank you for your kindness

You don't know

If it wasn't the princess that night

You could not even...You are wrong

If it was not Yuxiu,

I will not be here

Yes

Jin'er is back

Greetings, your Highness

Jin'er has returned to the mansion

and was waiting for princess for days

Good to have you back

Mi'er

Zilv,

Come on

Your Highness

This is the letter from the lord

General Song,

While I am not at home,

is everything OK in the mansion?

Everything's fine

But we all

are worried about her Highness and Yuxiu

Nowadays, the imperial palace

is really a dangerous place

Fortunately it was threatening but not a real danger

Yuxiu has survived as well

Please go visit her at your convenience

She will be happy

Yes

Huaien is leaving

Jin'er

Good timing

Affairs in the mansion will be on you

That's what Jin'er should do

I believe you have suffered a lot out there

Jin'er has not suffered

For your Highness' sake, the third prince

treated Jin'er well

You may go now

Yes

Yuxiu

General Song,

Yuxiu

You did what I should have done as a general

Please accept Huaien's gratitude

You flattered me

If general Song was there that day,

the situation must not be that bad

If it wasn't you put yourself forward

and something happened to her Highness

Huaien can do nothing but committing suicide to pay back to the lord

General Song, you are too serious

The princess is worried about you these days

When heard you were almost dying that night,

the princess was so anxious that she cried

She went to the palace immediately

As noble as her Highness,

she stayed at your bed to take care of you all night long

Her goodness to Yuxiu,

Yuxiu will never forget

Yuxiu

Just have a rest

Happy birthday to Empress!

Long live the queen!

Zilv

Mi'er

Give it to me

Back off.

Mi'er

Today is your birthday

In a few days,

all these things will become true

That is my greatest gift for your birthday

You will stand by my side in a dignified manner

In this world

there will be no one

to tear us apart

But if

There is no "but"

Mi'er

Be relieved,

we will not fail

Now

Duke Huan hypocritically allied with Wang Lin and Lord Yuzhang

At the time of the decisive battle,

he will give Ningshuo Army a critical strike

Xiao Qi will not realize

he will be defeated by the reinforcement

OK

Today is your birthday

Pretty much for these

Come on

General Song,

Jin'er

General Song,

Your Highness

I don't know

why you are coming here on your own?

Have you seen Pang Gui?

No I have not

Yesterday on my way back from the palace with Yuxiu,

I saw a suspicious carriage

I asked Pang Gui to follow them

But he hasn't come back yet

Speaking of Pang Gui's capabilities,

he should have come back to report

Don't worry, your Highnes

Pang Gui is the chief of the shadows

He is even a better martial artist than Huaien

He will be fine

But what makes him disappeared?

May I ask whom was it that Pang Gui to follow, your Highness?

My sister-in-law, Huan Mi

She was not close to my family

and she is a mystery all the time

Yesterday

I saw her

stepping out of a carriage that doesn't belong to the prime minister's home

This matter may be far beyond our imagination

You didn't find him?

What about my private letters with Duke Huan?
